Australian porn stud Gerry Pike lives on a rotating basis in Australia, America and Europe. With his long blonde hair, he looks like the model Fabio.

Pike's career best performance came in Sex. AVN's Best Film of 1994 is a fictionalized account of Gerry's life. Complete fiction he emphasizes were the bisexual implications when Jon Dough helps himself to a fistful of Gerry's hair and forces him to his knees to give head.

"I never did that in my real life to get work. I wasn't too happy about the scene at first, but in the end I thought "We're actors. It's not real.""

Gerry's life sounds like the transformation of his character in Sex.

Born in South Australia, he later moved to Hamburg, Germany. After leaving school at fifteen, Pike worked construction before joining the Army. "It's compulsory to join the National Service when you're 18. I was a solider - a grenadier - and I hated it. I was happy to leave when I finished my service after two years. I wanted to see the country in which I was born."

Gerry worked in Australia as a security guard at a ladies' nightclub when the female patrons encouraged him to dance. "The stripping was me all over; that's just my nature. I've always looked after my body, and I like dancing. It's exercise, its money and it's exciting; I enjoy performing."

Ten years later, Gerry still strips but he keeps it separate from his performances in front of the camera by using a different name.

Gerry modeled and eventually took his clothes off for European, American and Australian editions of Playgirl.

"The same agency who introduced me to doing test shoots for Playgirl were also running an agency for adult performers. They asked if I'd be interested in doing adult features."

Pike initially said no, then reconsidered. He debuted in August 1993 in VCA's Hollywood In Your Face.

Pike describes his most unusual sex scene. "It was a European takeoff of Chippendale dancers called f---ingdales. It was a "documentary" where we would f--- backstage, in the limo and in he hotel. The director picked me for the sex scene, which would take place on stage. It was in front of four hundred women in Budapest, Hungary. It was great, like a fantasy come true."

Then there was Reverse Gangbang. "It was me and ten girls in a Ferrari dealership. I had sex with the girls in four different positions and did a couple pops. It took two-and-a-half hours."

Immortal Desire ranks as Pike's first shot-on-film feature and boxcover. "The casting director was looking for a good looking, long haired guy who sounded like Sean Connery."

European porn is tougher on performers than American. "They give a guy five or ten minutes to get hard, and if he's not up to it, he's replaced. Two or three scenes per day is mandatory for a male in Europe, too. I've found American porn mild; if a guy can't get wood here, he shouldn't try it anywhere else.

"I've never had wood problems, even during a one day shoot where I performed four sex scenes.

"On the set I'm an animal. At home I'm more of a lover. I don't usually do facial cumshots and anal scenes in my private life." Before the camera "I do weird positions a lot and people freak. The girls don't know what is going on; I just put them there and tug 'em."

Pike wants to direct a feature in Australia."I can see two guys in the outback dressed as Crocodile Dundee figures, banging a girl, with kangaroos hopping around and koala bears climbing the trees." (AVN)
