Often compared to the late Joey Stefano because of his onscreen charisma, gay porn star Christian Fox killed himself by overdosing on drugs, just as Stefano did two years ago. Unlike Joey's accidental death, Christian took his own life. A suicide note was found. The honey-blond bottom was scheduled to enter drug rehab three weeks prior to his death, but threw himself through a plate glass window the night before and was too injured to be allowed into the clinic.

Chi Chi Larue ran into Fox in New Orleans during Southern Decadence. Encouraging him to get into recovery, Chi Chi warned Christian that if he didn't get his life under control he'd have the same fate as Stefano.

"I hugged him and felt close to him for the first time," says Larue.

Fox came from Canada. He did his first scene on his 18th birthday. He began his career as a Falcon Studios exclusive model and will be best remembered for his two scenes with Ken Ryker in Big River and Matinee Idol.

Chi Chi believes that like Stefano, Christian entered porn carrying heavy emotional baggage from his childhood. Larue says Fox was the most difficult person he ever directed. Christian's obnoxious ways ended his porn career.

Larue says Fox was confused about his sexual identity. Christian is survived by his wife. He was 22 years of age. (Information from Tim Evanson of RAME)
