Tricia Yen fights cancer in her stomach, liver, kidneys and bladder. To pay for health care, she turns tricks and performs in porn.

Born 12/4/68, she dropped chemo therapy for homeopathic treatment. (AVN 5/96 p.48)

One of Yen's best performances came in Robert McCallum's Hard-On Copy. "Satirizing the news-magazine "Hard Copy" are a trio of sex-crazed reporters - Tricia Yen, Michael J. Cox, and Vince Voyeur. Tricia gets worked over thrice, climaxing with a sizzler with T.T. Boy." (AVN 97)

On the newsgroup rec.arts.movies.erotica in November 1997, Justin wrote under the headline "A Skanked Out Tricia Yen:"

"I loved Tricia Yen several years back, particularly in one compilation called "Asian Heat". She was also very nice in "Chow Down".

"I just got a compilation called "Asian Bombshells - Volume 6" and she's in there, looking really, really scary. Her hair is bleached blonde. Now, that can be attractive in and of itself, but wait for the rest:

- Very skinny - "gaunt" looking

- Visible veins on her arms

- No bodyfat left - just taut muscle

- Both nips pierced

- Slightly crazed look in her eyes

"What happened to her? Does anyone here in the business know? IMO, she looks like she's been doing hard drugs. Such a loss of talent, if she stays this way."

To which Andy, with the email address You@Spammers.Can.All.Kiss.My.Ass, replied: "She has cancer of three organs, and obviously porn doesn't have the best health insurance plans. So she's f---ing to pay for her treatments and dying slowly, and we get to watch."

Pat Riley: "My position is that everything you do concerning sex is actually on two levels: what your instincts tell you; and what rational thought tells you.

"Although I'm very much a believer in "You are your genes", I can buy an argument that there could be some minor environmental modification but if so it's small and comes from early imprinting. In the case of sex you are driven by instinct even though you constantly overrule your internal impulses with rational thought. The "fun" will only come if you're satisfying nature's imperative to reproduce even though at the same time you're frustrating the end result. As long as it's not obvious to your body that you're wasting its time, it will reward you. Now maybe I'm peculiar in this but to take an example. I couldn't get aroused over a girl who I didn't believe was going to live at least10, maybe 20 years from the time I copulated with her. I believe this is because nature says "No point Riley, she won't live long enough to make sure your genes reproduce". I used to like Tricia Yin but now that I know she's about to peg out she does absolutely nothing for me. She's not repulsive, she's just nothing. And it's not like I think I'm going to catch anything. AFAIK cancer isn't contagious. And from a rational viewpoint she hasn't changed--or at least her captured movie image hasn't changed and that's all I can see. I can go through almost every aspect of females and the sex act in a like manner and justify my activities and preferences on a "reproductively advantageous" basis. Now I know one can't control one's erection or orgasm directly so something other than rational thought must drive it. I believe that something is instinctive reproductive behavior." (RAME)
