Heather Lere entered porn upon turning 18 and quickly left before later returning and leaving again.

She should not be confused with with Heather Lee, a busty hot latina who did movies from like 95-99.

Born 8/15/70, Lere appears in Between the Cheeks 2, The Party, More Dirty Debutantes 3, Tush and The Last Girl Scout.

Her real name is Patricia Margaret Howell. She was arrested at an Orange County video store in Florida 6/6/92 for flashing.

The 1993 book Coming Attractions reveals Heather's disastrous role in Jim Holliday and Sharon Kane's movie.

Ernest Greene, aka Ira Levine, co-authored the book and served as Assistant Director on Stairway. "We had Heather in a scene with two guys, not the easiest thing to do, but elementary. All she had to do was get up on all fours and get f---ed from the back by one guy and give a blow job to the other. That is how every two guy/girl scene in human history has been. It's on Grecian urns in the British Museum.

"She wouldn't do that. "I don't like it doggy style. It's not intimate enough. I don't like it from the back." We looked at each other, and Sharon Kane [the director] went bonkers.

"It's awkward because you're up against the men's homophobia. She would only do the scene flat on her back with one guy on top f---ing her and the other guy getting sucked by her, the two guys face to face. And she was just awful, blowing her lines and cracking up in the wrong places."

The star of Stairway to Paradise was Nina Hartley who says: "She [Heather] was mentally not there. She's an attractive young girl with beautifully natural tits. She knows you can get things you want if you're an attractive young girl and shake your tits at people. So she comes in and was rude to me, not knowing who I am. I'm not used to young girls being intentionally rude to me. I'm used to, "I've always wanted to meet you...

"You can tell in her scene with Joey Silvera that she doesn't want to be there. Joey's feeling that. And he's famous for liking young girls...

"She's finding that the realities of porno are not something that suit her. And she's having a freak-out: "I need to maintain control of the situation for my sanity." I don't blame her for that. I do blame her for being in the movie in the first place. These are the girls that later hate the business, leave the business, and complain about being used and abused by the business because they didn't do anything they liked.

"In emotional development, 18 years old is when you should be focusing on intimate contact with a single person and trying to figure out who you are in your relationships. Public sex isn't what you need to be doing at 18 years old."

Director Anthony Spinelli skewers Heather at the end of 1992's The Party, including a set of outtakes of Heather doing Rob Tyler "where she seems bitchy," reports Pat Riley. "The director went all out to stick it to her. He subtitled it with such items as "Heather as director" when she makes comments about how the scene should be shot.

"I understands that Heather has a reputation for being difficult and unhygenic, but if the director [Anthony Spinelli] wanted you to see her in a bad light he didn't achieve his purpose... Females exist to provide males sexual enjoyment but they're also humans and entitled to a modicum of decency. That a director would take such a mean-spirited way of attacking an actress reflects on his low quality as a human being." (Pat Riley, X-Rated Videotape Guide 4, p. 433)

Heather evidently doesn't like the doggie position. Her doggie scene in The Party is botched and after the credits, Lere says "my pussy is not made for doggie style." Her claim is demonstrated by a series of attempts - all failures - by the male lead to insert his penis in Heather's pussy from that position.

As of 2001, Heather was working the escort circuit.
