I call him Monday evening, May 8, 2006. I haven't interviewed Skeeter in about seven years. I later call Bridgett Kerkove and leave her a message. She does not respond. Skeeter and Bridgett in March 2005 at the XRCO Awards. Bridgett and Skeeter. I've largely left things to Gene.
The following is a partial transcript of my Monday night talk with Skeeter (it's not always in the order of our conversation). I leave out most of the stuff I read on Gene's site. Luke: "What did you do that got you registered as a sex offender?" Skeeter: "I was 20 years old (it was 1985). I was at the Rainbow Bar and Grill on Sunset Bl. I was not old enough to be in a bar. My girlfriend was. We were invited to go to a party in Burbank. Along with us was Chris Holmes, the guitarist from Flock, and his girlfriend Tina. "At the party in Burbank, we were downstairs sitting on a couch. Chris went upstairs. He came downstairs. His girlfriend asked him if he'd been partying (doing cocaine). He said no. He went back upstairs. He came back down and said, 'Skeeter, you have to see this.' My girlfriend told me to come right back. "I went upstairs. There were people standing around a bed. There was a naked [adult] girl drinking a beer and smoking a cigarette. Doug Campbell was doing the camera. Anthony LaPree and several other people were using dildos on her. "I don't remember much. It was way over two decades ago. There were a lot of people in the room. "My girlfriend comes up and looks and says, 'We're outta here.' We left. "The Burbank PD looked at the tape and declined to prosecute. They saw that the girl gives consent. She was picked up on in a bar where you had to show ID to get in. "Before and after [the dildo performance], the girl clearly says, 'Go ahead and videotape me. I don't care.' "There were some famous rock 'n' roll musicians at the party, so somebody thought she was going to get a lot of money. "During the Reagen years, when they were attacking porn, this case was taken to criminal court and to a special lady prosecutor for the porn thing. "When they were gathering up people to arrest, they found all these videotapes. This guy Doug Campbell had been making amateur porn videos for ages. He would go out and find the girl and bring them over and he would have the guy Anthony LaPree have sex with the girl. "The accusation in my case was that the woman was under the influence of alcohol and could not make an informed decision and that she did [things with the dildo] under duress. The original charage is 289A - a foreign object in concert, which means to watch. "Doug Campbell got 52 days for assault and battery. I was sentenced to three years and did one year. He had a private attorney. I had a public defender. "It [the dildo play with the woman] had been going on for an hour before I stepped into the room for five minutes. If I had never stepped into the room, nothing would've changed [for the woman]. I had no control over nothing. "I was a 130-pound male then with hair down to my waist. I was wearing skintight pants. My attorney brought up that 'the man does not have an erection. This was not pleasurable for him.'" Luke: "What did the girl say about you?" Skeeter: "That she did not want me to be arrested. She wanted Doug Campbell and Anthony LaPree to be arrested. She told that to my girlfriend Rada Dhwhn. She also dated Dr. Jerry Buss, owner of the Los Angeles Lakers. He was her sugar daddy. "My girlfriend was still going out to the bars and clubs and she'd run into the girl." Luke: "When was the last time you were convicted of a criminal offence?" Skeeter: "I was arrested for a felony [the intent to buy and distribute cocaine] in 1992 [and he was sentenced to six years in prison and served three years]. I went to a jury trial. I was convicted [at the end of 1992]." Skeeter's spent over five years of his life incarcerated. He's been convicted of two felonies. Luke: "You've basically been a law-abiding citizen for ten years?" Skeeter: "I don't know what you mean." Luke: "What are you doing now?" Skeeter: "I'm watering my 82 palm trees." Luke: "What do you love and hate about your life now?" Skeeter: "I love that I get to see all of my children an average of five times a week. My oldest son, 17, found his mother. He'd gone 15 years without seeing her. "He's learning how to lay carpet." Luke: "How do you talk to the kids about porn?" Skeeter: "They've never mentioned a word about it to me. "My oldest son saw Bridgett and I on the Howard Stern Show, but it was when he spent the night at a friend's house. The parents told me. "It's just something we don't talk about." Luke: "You've been through a lot in the last two years." Skeeter: "The last 13 months." Luke: "How have you handled it?" Skeeter: "The first four months were the hardest. I lost over 30 pounds, from 210 to 180 in a month. I'm now 212." Luke: "How's your state of mind?" Skeeter: "Good." Luke: What turned things around for you? Skeeter: "Several experiences in family law court." Luke: "Having access to your kids again." Skeeter: "I always had access to three of the five." Luke: "How long did you miss work?" Skeeter: "I only shot one movie in 2005 after [Bridgett accused Skeeter April 27 of molesting their infant daughter]. "I couldn't do anything for months until I had understood what had been planned against me. It had to have been when Bridgett was offered a contract at Metro -- April 19, 2005 at 4 p.m. I don't know that my whole world is getting ready to be torn apart. "On April 20th, Bridgett text-messaged me that we had to live for the moment now. I replied: 'I have five kids. I can't do that.' "I always gave Bridget $1,000 per child per month. "On April 22nd, Bridgett was getting steroid shots to her nose, which she liked to do every three or four months because it reduces the swelling from the three nosejobs she's had (scar tissue builds up, ergo swelling). "She called me quite a few times on the way home and that showed me the different states she was in. But I wasn't the only number she was calling. "As I paid her cell phone bill, I know everybody she called and when she called them and for how long she spoke to them. She was talking to her mom and to the head of production at Metro, Gustavo. A month before, she never called him once. He wasn't in power then either. [Gustavo has left porn.] "When you're head of production at Metro, you have an incredible influence over who shoots. A director who works a ton makes an astronomical amount of money. She was making over $20,000 a month directing for Metro. "Bridgett shot over 40 one-day movies in seven months for Metro. "We're still married. The courts won't let us divorce. Nobody wants to deal with us. Nobody wants the Kerkoves in the court room. We get bounced back and forth. "I was never in criminal court. No law enforcement contacted me. This was strictly the Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) based on Bridgett's false allegations. That's how we got brought into the system. It was the worst thing in the world I could have ever been accused of. I was accused of molesting my baby. I'd rather be accused of murdering 20 people. "Whether you believe in the polygraph or not, at least I took one (from Dr. Louis Robner). It was videotaped. It lasted three hours. I was in a bad frame of mind at the time. It was very stressful. I broke down and cried. "I offred Bridgett $50,000 to take the lie detector test. She wouldn't." Skeeter met Bridgett (she was almost 20) in 1996 and he says they hooked up on their first date in the front bed of his truck. "I was fed up with getting into trouble. I went back to working seven days a week and saving all my money and never going out." Luke: "When you picked up a camera again [in 2006], was it easy getting work again?" Skeeter: "I did not seek any work. People called me." Luke: "Why does nobody in the courts want to resolve your case?" Skeeter: "Ms. Kerkove is no longer in the Adult business, however that doesn't lessen the load. When you've done all the work she's done, quitting means nothing to anybody. "You can't get a divorce until it [with the Department of Child and Family Services] is all over with. "It might never be resolved. "I was brought into the DCFS twice. Ms. Kerkove brought me in. My other children's mother has been arrested numerous times for drugs, weapons... She tested positive for heroine, methamphetamines. Since then she's lost parental rights for life to all her children. "Bridgett punched me in the back of my head while we walking down the red carpet at the AVN 2004 awards. My back was turned. It happened in front of many people (Ric Williams, Joey Wilson, Anthony Simone, Janie L). Those people signed affidavits for it. "Later that night, she announced that we were going to have another baby. She'd have me over every night to create our child. "...Thank God Bridgett and her mom are as dumb as a box of rocks because when they make up lies about me... "Bridgett's mother is a religious leader [in Southern California] -- Debbie Felkel. She didn't like it one bit that her daughter was a porn star and prostitute. "Before Bridgett got into the sex industry, every job she did, she was fired. She couldn't last two weeks. With her temper and the way she would yell at people, they'd fire her. "I found out that Bridgett had a drug problem when she was dating Jason Just. He was an adult. She was a minor. She used methamphetamines. She smoked pot. She had a history of liking older guys and hooking up with them. "[After Skeeter and Bridgett became an item,] Bridgett answered an ad to work at the club Starlight in downtown Los Angeles. It's a club/brothel for asian men. I told her, 'Do you have any idea what you're doing there? I know a girl who worked there. If you don't start giving handjobs and blow jobs, you're fired within a week.' "She went to work there in early 1998. She'd get done about 3 a.m. She'd do the handjobs and the blowjobs for about $50 each. She'd meet the guys afterwards for regular sex for about $300." Luke: "What turned Bridgett against you?" Skeeter: "Her mother and several other people who knew how to work her. You've never heard how to get Bridgett mad? Tell her that [Skeeter's] messing around with girls. She will yell and scream. "She told Otto and Audrey Hollander in March 2005 that she would kill me. I started to save my text messages [from Bridgett] that I was going to get my throat slit." Luke: "She threatened your life a lot?" Skeeter: "Yes. "There's always been mental illness in Bridgett. I've seen it before. Her brother was in a mental institution. Her sister was taken to one because she said she was going to kill herself. She threw herself in front of a car in a parking lot." Luke: "What toll did the sex industry take on Bridgett?" Skeeter: "The toll was the torture that her mother Debbie Felkel did to her and me by constantly calling and harassing her and calling authorities and making up stories. The false allegations started in 2000. She's been calling the police for years telling them I murdered my oldest son's mother. People believe it. When the woman was found OK, not one person apologized and said, 'I'm sorry. We made you spend money for something that wasn't true.' "When Bridgett and I started making porn, her mother Debbie Felkel developed a plan. 'How can I make them break up? How can I destroy them?' "We were shooting a movie in 2001 called Anal Excursions. Debbie Felkel calls DCFS and says we're filming porn with all of our children watching. "We proved that each child was signed in at school during the filming." Luke: "Was there anything you did that turned Bridgett against you?" Skeeter: "Luke, she is paranoid, psychotic and delusional. And I'm not saying that. [Medical experts said that, says Skeeter.]" I'm told (and I have no medical expertise to back this up, this is only me passing along an opinion) that Bridgett suffers from the psychotic disorder folie a deux. "It's a shared psychotic disorder...that develops in the context of a close relationship with another person who has an already established delusion." It's inferred to me that Bridgett developed these delusions within her close relationship with her mother. Skeeter: "The first time I knew she was paranoid was when she accused me in 2001 of getting another girl pregnant." Luke: "Why didn't you leave her earlier?" Skeeter: "Low self-esteem. The same reason she didn't leave me. I still love her and she still loves me. "Even in 2005, when Gustavo Chavo from Metro or Keith O'Connor and company can't find me, they call Bridgett because they know I'll be there, even though she's telling people that we haven't been together forever. "This poor little guy [former AVN journalist] was believing everything she told him. They started talking in March 2005 according to her cell phone records. He'd be writing under different names that she left that loser [Skeeter]. She divorced him in 2004. The poor little guy was so smitten with her but it ended up ruining his career. He's in never-never land. "March 25, 2005, was the first sign, when I go back in the records, that things were bad. She was starting to frame me then. She went to a Jewish domestic violence place. "I wonder what that was about. She was the one who broke my tooth on March 22, 2005, with the remote control. She pulled out my hair and scraped my face and I hid out from everybody for several days, but then the pain became too much. I had an exposed root. I had to get it fixed." Luke: "Why did Bridgett assault you?" Skeeter: "Because she believed I'd had sex with Tiffany Holliday (never) and Kelly Wells (only afterwards). "Bridgett told Derek at LADirectModels that Tiffany and I were in love and living together at my house. Completely false. "My attorney said to me, 'I've been in this business 17 years. You are the second client I've asked to take a polygraph test.' "He told me, 'You have truth on your side. She will continue to tell lies which we will continue to disprove.' "Three lies in a criminal trial and you're disqualified as a witness. We proved 31 lies in Bridgett's opening statement. "Metro used to fly me with Bridgett so that when she was doing signings, I would babysit our [youngest] daughter [the one Bridgett accused Skeeter of molesting]. I'd be pushing K. around in the stroller. A lot of people, including Joey Wilson, saw me all tattooed and in a tank top pushing around an infant in Atlantic City dressed up in pink in a fancy stroller." Luke: "I haven't seen Bridgett speak about this to any journalist." Skeeter: "Originally, her attorneys told her not to. Then it spun out of control. I put everything on the record. Bridgett and I were legally separated, so she could sue me for slander if I said anything that wasn't true. There'd be plenty to sue for. I don't live in an apartment." Luke: "If I called Bridgett, would she speak to me?" Skeeter: "I wish she would. I would love for you to get her interview and to get her whole side of the story. "We texted each other three times in March 2006. She texted me first. She was in money trouble, so I gave money to the social worker to give to her. "This is the kind of guy I was in the past. I got stabbed in the knee by my ex-wife Kerry Kithcart (DOB 10/29/70). I didn't tell the police. When I hit her back and was hit with Misdemeanor Spousal Abuse, I didn't tell the police on her. I didn't want her locked up. She told our oldest daughter, 'I stabbed your dad. He hit me back but he would not tell on me.' "Since then, she's been arrested at least three times for beating on other men with weapons. She got out of jail last week. "I'm told by my attorney that it was an illegal marriage that was supposed to be annulled. On the marriage license she filled out, she said she had never been married before. She was legally married when it was filled out. "Think about this. Anyone can make up a report. It can go on your school record. It doesn't mean it's true. I was never expelled from any school. It's written in a report that I murdered my oldest son's mother, and it even goes into detail how I did it. "You know the girl who has been the biggest help to me? Kelly Wells. She visited me a lot and gave me a lot of support. I'd have dinner with Derek [Hay] every Sunday night and the [LADirectModels] girls. "I never thought I'd be a director who'd end up having 1100 stories written on him. I don't even know if anything like that has happened before." Skeeter: "One time Bridgett (who has six sisters and two brothers) and I were in court in 2002. The mother of our two oldest children, Kerry Kithcart (D.O.B. 10-29-1970, she has lost parental rights of our children, she got out of jail last week) had been arrested for drugs, grand theft auto, assault, using a child as a shield for shoplifting... "My attorney, Linda Attenborough, comes to me, my mother Carol Kerkove, and Bridgett (Patricia Lynn Kerkove), and says, 'Ms. Kerkove, I need to talk to you. Did you know that your mother is here?' "Bridgett says no. 'Do you know what your mother [Debbie Felkel] is saying about you? She's saying you made pregnant movies and that you guys are making movies with the children watching. Your mother is calling Bridgett a child molestor.' "Bridgett starts freaking out. 'She's asking that your baby be taken from you when she's born. She'll take the baby.' "Her mom was so disgusted with how Bridgett had turned out, and all the daughters were gone, and she wanted to relive her life by trying again with another child. "When Bridgett saw her mom, she started yelling and screaming at her. It was hard on her that her own mother would be telling these terrific lies about her and myself. "In 2003, Bridgett and her mother were on the phone and her mother was upset that there were still pictures of her on the internet even though she had retired. Her mother thought that everything had to be taken down if she retired. "Her mother told her that I needed to quit working in the business. Bridgett replied, 'We're not finished yet. We need to make money.' Her mother said, 'If I have to sacrifice my own child, I will. Patricia, you know that I sacrificed your brother Michael before until I got my way.' "Debbie Felkel meant, 'Whatever I have to do to get my way to serve the Lord and not be embarrassed in the community, I will do.' "When Michael, her adult son, was misbehaving, she cast him off to the side. "Debbie Felkel was filing all these false reports to try to tear the family apart and make things go bad so she could get her daughter out of porn. "Bridgett hid from her mother for a while until she got weak because she was getting her lips done and her nose done. At that time, Bridgett and I were not talking. Our baby K. was born in July 2002. "In June 2003, Bridgett's calling her mother and saying, 'I'm getting my lips done just like you told me to, mom.' That's when they filed a false report with the Devonshire Police Station against me. I talked to the detectives. I was at my son's graduation that night [Skeeter was alleged to have done something wrong]. "The detective said, 'You are free to go, but you need to talk to your wife.' "I was outside of Sin City, which was definitely the best for my career with Scott Justice and Mark Snyder marketing me as a wildcat director. That was the thing that got my career going. "Bridgett pulls into the parking lot with her S-class silver Jaguar and gets out of the car and is crying. She goes, 'I'm so sorry. I love you. I've got to tell you the truth. That day I got my work done, my mom convinced me that you were going to take K. from me and that you were being investigated by the LAPD for being in the Mafia.' "She gets right on her cell phone, I have the records, and yells at her mom: 'You've got to tell the detective that I was high on these drugs and you made me do that. I've already told the detective the truth that I haven't seen him in a week.' "I explain to Bridgett that her mom is so evil that her mom will set her up to lose the kid. "We were together every day after that. I put her in half of my Mayhem movies. We travelled together. They paid for us to go to Vegas. Sin City was wonderful to us. David Sturman is a family-oriented man. He allowed us to travel with the nanny. "Debbie Felkel told the LAPD that I was running prostitution out of my house. The LAPD was flooded with phone calls about all this stuff that wasn't true. "Bridgett and I are of German descent. I was born in Hollywood, CA in the Queen of Angels hospital. I wanted to be a star but all I did was walk the street of broken dreams. She was born in Glendale. "Her mother has a history of covering up family dirty secrets. Bridgett's first sister to become pregnant was Cindy. She'd just entered college. Debbie hated the guy who took away the honor of the family. So Cindy got the boot. Debbie made sure the father never got to see the baby. "Then Cindy met Richard, who was passed off as this child's father. For it to make sense, Cindy even dyed her hair black so everybody would have black hair. "Cindy and Richard had a rushed wedding. "The oldest son Michael got a girl pregnant. Debbie arranged for them to get married and moved them into the house next door to them. "The night I met Bridgett, at the coffee shop, she explained to me how much she didn't like her mom who tried to control her and shove all this religion down her throat. Bridgett wanted to move out. We lived together right away. "Bridgett was sexually active at 15. She was living with Jason Just, an adult who's been in and out of prison [most of his life, usually related to methamphetamines], who from day one [of their relationship] was smoking pot and using methamphetamines. Jason's parents are mentally ill. They get social security checks. They walk the streets, go in front of our pool store, every day picking up aluminum cans. Sometimes the lady wears these wild fur hats. "I talked to Jason eight months ago. He said that the last year of the relationship, she'd always scream and yell at him and throw things. "He found out from his neighbors by the beach in Orange County that she'd be having sex with some of them while he was gone. "Bridgett got into porn through Duke [who sued Rob Spallone for beating him up in 1997] and Sean Michaels and Elegant Angel [a girl-girl scene with Angel in Erotic City 6 in early 1998]. I had nothing to do with it." "Hey Luke, would you take a polygraph test for $50,000 that you've hugged Holly Randall?" Luke: "Yes." Skeeter: "Why won't Miss Kerkove take a polygraph test for $50,000?" Luke: "Because she knows she would fail?" Skeeter: "Yes." Luke: "How much have you spent on legal fees?" Skeeter: "Sixty thousand dollars. Several thousand in private investigators. Total loss due to her false allegations - over a quarter million dollars. Emotional stress -- that will hurt off and on for the duration of my life. "The original plan was to get me arrested so she could take over everything I own and destroy my career. "All the bad karma and plotting reversed on her. She was making $20,000 from Metro. She lost that. She started losing more and more [in court]. She went through five attorneys in seven months. Now she's living in an apartment on welfare. She lost her house. She lost her Lincoln Navigator. "In five years, I have never missed a visit with my oldest daughter and oldest son. "When I go to school functions, I wear a longsleeve shirt, tie, sometimes a suit. I grew my hair back. Very respectable. If anybody approaches me to talk about the business I'm in, I say I never talk about that when kids are around. "Nobody can find a DVD of Bridgett bruised. That could be used as evidence. "In the late nineties, Bridgett was the hardcore girl. There was one girl squirting from drinking lots of water -- Alyssa Klass. Now there are hundreds of squirters." Skeeter has directed and produced over 170 movies. Skeeter Kerkove - Registered Sex Offender His offense? "SEXUAL PENETRATION WITH FOREIGN OBJECT BY FORCE." From the first time I met Skeeter (Arland Dale Kerkove, born 9/24/64) in late 1998, he was open about his long criminal record and his time spent in prison. I think he said something about drugs. I got a hold of his rap sheet. Filing date: 8/29/85 311:4 (Misdemeanor) Printing or possessing obscene material featuring a minor. 289A: Sexual penetration against victim's will by force... Skeeter: "If she says it was, I believe it to be true. I didn't contest it. I told her that whatever she wanted was fine with me. We've decided to be friends again. We've already hooked up a couple of times. She gives me a list of things she needs for the kids. Whatever she tells me to buy, I get it and give it to her. "She says that even though the marriage is over, it doesn't change anything." Luke: "Has she given up on all the horrible things she charged you with?" Skeeter: "Absolutely. We're the most controversial, most well-known porn couple in the history of all pornography forever. For example, the husband has been written about six times in five days. Are there any porn girls that got written about that many times in the past five days? "Bridgett says that just because we're not married anymore, that doesn't change anything. We have sixteen and a half years left to raise children." 2/26/07 The Skeeter Kerkove Auditory Experience He phones Monday night to invite me to his set. "I can't assure you that it will be as good as Mr. Rob Spallone's but I'll do the best to accommodate to you as I gave my first interview to you eight years ago. We did redact certain info for security reasons, mainly account numbers and such. The documents are scanned from the originals we have and are saved as Adobe Acrobat files (*.pdf). You can read these files with either Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Acrobat Reader. I had a chance today to read some of what you have written about this situation, and some of the things the Kerkoves have said on your site and others. If you look and compare the signatures from the back of the check and the model release, you can see that they all seem to have been signed by the same person. Since the Kerkoves signed the model release and cashed the check I am not sure how they can maintain they weren't paid or were treated illegally in any way. The model release allows LGI to publish the pictures and video we took in any way we wish. The Kerkoves were specifically told this material would be published to the Internet, in addition to film. We also registered the bridgettkerkove.com domain legally. As far as we know Bridgett Kerkove, the name, isn't Trademarked, and therefore what we did is very legal and above board. We did not steal it. In fact "Skeeter" Kerkove told us he did not plan to use the domain because Seymore Butts told him he would earn $120,000 a year for Bridgett/Patricia being on that site. As of this writing, neither "Skeeter", nor anybody else has registered any of the other domain name variations. I categorically deny that anyone connected with the production of Late Networks Vol. 1& 2 was involved in the allegations of "rape", "drugs" or "pandering". LGI takes pride in being an honest company in the Adult Industry, and we've been at it for more than 25 years. If we had pulled any of the things we are accused of, we would not be here now. I'm sure the Government would have shut us down. We have worked with many other Top Adult Performers and Production Companies and have never had these kinds of allegations leveled at us. In addition to all this, it is company policy to ONLY pay by check or credit card for bookkeeping purposes. No one has ever been paid cash by LGI for any movie. The Kerkoves charged LGI more for their services, just because it was a check NOT cash. We are considering, on advice of counsel, bringing criminal charges against the Kerkoves for fraud and wire fraud in connection to the signing of the model release and the endorsement on the check. We hope the matter can be resolved without taking these steps, however we do have a business and reputation to protect. I also think it is sad that you portray Kendra as being intimidated by Bo. Bo is a professional, and has too much to lose by jeopardizing our company by that kind of activity. Kendra is a contract girl for LGI and we are ecstatic to have her on board. We have paid her over $8,000 and she still hasn't filmed her first scene with us. From : Gene Ross has in his position two sets of model releases signed by Bridgett Kerkove- one dated December 8, 1998; the other signed 6-23-99. Both signatures match. However the model release produced by LGI bears a signature that's totally different. Skeeter Kerkove contends all along that Bridgett never signed the release being produced by LGI, that she had asked to sign one, but was never given one because the LGI shoot directed by Jim Gunn was "disorganized". Skeeter said he and Bridgett were already on their way home when it dawned on them they never signed the release. 11/30/99 Mrs Kerkove Comes To Los Angeles John Kenney aka Bo Smith, owner of LGI, writes : "Dear Gene, please forgive LGI for not sending you the the copy's of the check and model release first. This is the first time we have had something like this happen to LGI our mistake." Gene had bullied Bo about not sending a response and pictures to him first, rather than to me and Gene at the same time. AVN frequently bullies porners to give them the scoop before (or instead of) giving it to me. John writes further to Gene: "The signature on the back of the check and the signature on the model release match however they also look like skeeter's signature on the back of the check. Face the truth she got paid to get laid. "Skeeter forged the model release and the signature on the back of the check. If skeeter and bridgett deny that this is not true I will come into avn's office and you can call the police and they can tell their story, and we will supply our evidence to the police.The kerkove are being deceitful and are lying, do they deny that they cashed the check. do they deny that the money went into arland d kerkove's acct. did she sign her name to the check .Who forged it on the check." Luke asked Skeeter Kerkove, Bridgett's husabnd, about this Monday afternoon and he had no comment. The Kerkove's, who originally raised the controversy, now want it to die down. Skeeter Kerkove: "If I comment on that, then I'm starting stuff up again. I was highly advised to let this thing die down. They know that if they want a model release, all they have to do is send it and it will be notarized and signed. We don't want no money from nobody unless Bridgett goes out and does a scene and earns it." John Kenney, however, does not want the matter to die down until he and his company have been cleared of all charges of wrongdoing. After getting blindsided on the matter last week, John has fought back with photos, documentation and detailed answers to tough questions, to regain his credibility. John's company LGI operates web sites for about 40 porners and has not suffered from this kind of controversy before. A person's reputation, ironically, means everything in the insular world of pornography. Yes, even porners, have an honor code. Especially porners have an honor code. Pro writes: "Of course the Kerkoves would like the whole LGI/Kerkove debacle to die down. It was a gross tactical error on their part from the very beginning. As relative newcomers to the adult business, the Kerkoves most likely don't have a knowledgeable grasp of "Who's Who" in the Porn World: Especially the Porn World beyond the West San Fernando Valley. If they had, they most likely would not have antagonized someone as closely connected to powerful people (in this business) as Bo, and LGI. I'm guessing, but Skeeter probably pegged Bo as just another, 'wannabe,' one-stop owner from back East itching to get into the production side. Most likely, they correctly assessed Jim Gunn as a small-time, East Coast hack, and no doubt, this negatively impacted their opinion of Bo and LGI. But unfortunately for the Kerkoves, Bo has close and powerful long-time friends. They include, most notably: David Sturman of GVA, Kevin Beech of Erotic Angel, and quite a few more, influential, company owners. This 'bad call' on the Kerkove's part is certainly impacting Bridgette Kerkove's bookings (200 scenes in one year aside) and indeed, her future in this business. It's always wise for newcomers to understand that this business is made up of a close-knit comraderie of long-time players. And in spite of the what sometimes seems like 'relationships-at-odds,' the bottom line is that this 'club' exists almost exclusively on personal relationships." Kenney flies in to Los Angeles (from his home in Washington D.C.) on Thursday. His contract girl Kendra Jade jumps in front of the camera Saturday. On December 6th, she goes in for extensive plastic surgery, including getting her breasts redone, and liposuction. Luke talked Monday afternoon with Skeeter Kerkove who goes into court Friday to gain final custody of the rest of his children (from a first marriage). Skeeter: "From an ex-wife who's done death threats in front of the bailiff and the Department of Family Services... That's how bold and crazy she is. "We don't even own a computer. We share one cell phone and one pager. I've had it for five years. We do everything we can to not spend money. "We don't even want to talk about it anymore. It makes for dramatic reading. But as a human being, I think that keeping quiet and letting the thing blow over is in your interest." Skeeter: "We just want it to die down. We've never had anything like this before and it is so scary. We're just focusing on her career and getting my children from a previous relationship. My poor children had to go through a lot with their mother. My two younger children were being very neglected and when the Department of Children Services came in from our call, they found them in a severely neglected home that was horrid... So they took my children and gave them to me, instead me just getting to visit them every other weekend. "Anyone who knows us knows that we don't drink alcohol or do drugs... We're home every night in bed, unless Bridgett has to work. No shopping sprees and no fancy dinners. "We're not sue happy people. We don't want no problems with nobody. We wish this never happened.
