Extreme Associates and the Mob

I wonder if the Justice Department will prosecute
Rob Black's Extreme Associates under RICO statutes, which are primarily
used to investigate organized crime.
The Mafia has been tightening up on its porn connections over the past
six months and several people, mainly out of New York, have been murdered.
One person with ties to pornographers was murdered in Chatsworth within
the past month. The murder was connected to porn.
As
setgo.com reported December 24, 2002:
Extreme Associates has gotten itself into big trouble. They robbed duplicator
Vinnie DeStefano for $66,000 by not paying their bill. These Gambinos
came from New York to collect the money from Rob Black. Rob Black told
them that Pete Milano, the Mafia boss of Los Angeles, told him he could
do it. So the Gambinos went back to Rochester and collected from Rob's
Dad, Dominic Zicari, instead. Rob might get hurt. The FBI have already
warned him.
Black also put Louie Peraino out of business by not paying him.
During one of Extreme's wrestling gigs, Pete Milano brought water to
Rob Black. Pete and his sons hang around the porn business.

Devereaux writes on adultdvdtalk.com: Western Pennsylvania is very
conservative. That's why Evil Angel, when we still handled our own subscription
magazine delivery, did not sell to that area, among many others.
We defend our content to the end, but we're not careless enough to put
things in the realm of being judged by seriously conservative people.
It would not bother me one bit to see Rob in jail for some of the criminal
things he has done in the past, but not for something to do with Free
Speech.
Extreme was incredibly careless when they taunted the government to
go after them. This will be a very difficult time for them.
Videosan writes: I noticed on the xrentdvd.com site that they are "liquidating"
all Extreme titles (i.e., selling them at Extreme-ly low prices to get
them out of their inventory). I haven't yet inquired as to why, although
based on everything I'm reading here at ADT, I suspect it's due to the
poor quality of the Extreme DVDs. It has only been within a month or
so that a large number of Extreme titles showed up at xrentdvd. I never
rented any of them since I'd seen almost all of the titles back when
they were released on VHS and wasn't interested in seeing them again.
