Penthouse Pets Jennifer Emerson, Bella Starr Jennifer Emerson Bella Starr Bella Starr 9/13/06 As a child, Jennifer wanted to be a veterinarian. "I love animals. I have two dogs and they're my life. I don't have any kids or boyfriend. Maybe I'll still go to school one day." She laughs. Bella has a degree in Marine Biology. Jennifer: "I have my associates degree in business and I also have my real estate license." In highschool, "I hung out with the people who skipped school and were bad." Bella: "I was president of the national honors society and I was the secretary of my senior year class. "I started doing figure modeling for the Brooks Institute. Then I modeled for some little websites. Penthouse has been the most glamorous." Bella's modeled for a living for two years. Jennifer: "A lot of people asked me if I was a model. I thought that must be something. I should try it out. I did this one little backwoods magazine and I started doing more and more and built my own website (jennifer-emerson.com)." Jennifer writes on her website: "I am thrilled to be a part of the "New" Penthouse!! Penthouse Magazine has cleaned up the magazine and made some drastic changes in the past few months. I can honestly say that it is Classy, Tasteful, and Respectful now. I do not think that 1 year ago I would have agreed to pose for Penthouse, but now their image is completely different, and I am HONORED to be on the Cover, and a part of Penthouse's new beginning!" Luke: "How did modeling affect your relationships with men?" She laughs. "It did affect it. To date me you have to be secure and confident and trust me and know that it is a job. A lot of guys think we're out sleeping around and that this is a big orgy. It's affected a few relationships." Bella: "I've been lucky to have dated some supportive guys and not guys who think they can tote along and be suitcase pimps." "My sister was in a sorority and her sorority sisters did not like it. That caused a rift for a while. The rest of my family is supportive. They love me but they're not quite sure what to make of it. They love to see my issues when they come out." Jennifer: "I haven't lost any friends because they weren't friends to begin with if they can't accept this. Yes, I've lost certain people who are jealous and hate on you. I'm an educated person. I'm intelligent. I'm a good person. Just because I got naked for a magazine does not mean that I am the devil. "My mom is the VP of this company and she was my issue framed on the wall at work." |
