I interview Destiny B Wild, a stripper for a dozen years. Destiny: "I've always been a performer. I like the cameras. I like the response that I get from the gentlemen. I hate that I have to move on." As a kid, Destiny "wanted to be the first female jet fighter pilot for the Thunderbirds. But my eyesight wasn't 100%, so that shot out the window." "All my siblings went into the Air Force except me." Luke: What was your crowd in high school? Destiny: "Middle class. I chose to like everybody. I didn't want to be shunning to the people who were a little bit lower. So I was a dancer and a cheerleader. I performed at the Cotton Bowl." Luke: "What was your reputation in high school?" Destiny: "Very good." "I come from a very sexual family where we talked about sex at the dinner table. They went to nudist colonies and swang frequently." Luke: "Did you guys have sex with each other?" Destiny: "Not with my family." Luke: "How does your family feel about your work as a dancer?" Destiny: "My mother is behind me 100%. She made most of my costumes. Her photography got me into the industry. My father, I went to his doorstep two years ago and told him, 'Dad, I'm going to be in some magazines.' Because I'm Italian. He was OK. His first question was, 'Are you going to do porn?'" "Some day I am going to have a country western bar with a mechanical bull." Luke: "How would your closest friends describe you?" Destiny: "Wild. I'm the one that jumps before anybody." Luke: "Is dancing a gateway drug to pornography?" Destiny: "Dancing is the worst drug in the world. It's very addictive. A good sign of good f---ing is good dancing." |
