"I recently performed standup at the Improv on Melrose. I'm funny within a small group of friends... They are putting us on a tour across the US. I'm working with Ron Howard's company Imagine Entertainment. They're doing a movie about an adult film star who wants to marry and have kids. She meets the man of her dreams. Brittany: "I don't dance. I don't meet my fans a lot. At the different shows, I don't sign for companies. I'm trying to do business. I don't interact with my fans in the normal ways. I meet my fans on a daily basis on planes and going to clubs. I enjoy talking to people because people have major stereotypes about adult film stars. I try to project a positive attitude about the adult industry. I've been in the business for eight years and overall I've found it to be a pleasant experience. Even though I don't hang out with other adult film stars, when I walk on to a set, I've known these people for eight years. It feels like a family attitude."

Luke: "Do you find it difficult to be taken seriously because you are blonde, have big boobs, and a porn star?"

Brittany laughs. "Yes, that's probably been my biggest challenge. It's been eight years. When I go to these Internet conventions, I'm the only porn star there doing business. Jenna is not doing business. She's signing. She's not negotiating deals and doing deals with men. Or the distribution companies, which a lot of them, we all know are Mafia-driven and they've been around forever. When you sit down with the buyers, they've never had a porn star sit in front of them. Most of the people I sit down to do business with have never had a female, let alone a porn star, deal with them. Many times I get patted on the head, told to shut up and to sit in the corner. I've gone home crying many times, feeling like I am never going to win this game. But by being persistent, showing up, positive, knowing my product, I know that time is on my side. People will have to deal with me after a while."

Luke: "Will you find it hard to turn 30 in August?"

Brittany: "The lady that colored my hair when I was 24 said to me, 'When you turn 30, if you spent your entire twenties goofing off and doing nothing, you hit your 30th birthday and you tend to look back and wonder what you've done. If you haven't done much by the time you turn 30, it is going to be miserable. But if you've done a lot by the time you turn 30, it will be pleasant.' I've worked my ass off during my twenties. I feel so good turning 30. I feel a certain calm. That is a gift from God to have that kind of centeredness, calmness, patience, tolerance. Not to say that I am a boring bitch. I'm enjoying that feeling of being a full individual."
