Terri writes: "I’ve read criticisms of your photographic skills in the past, but after clicking through your photos from last night’s party I have to thank you for continuing to use your Dorian Gray De-Glamourizer for red carpet events. We’re not really a very glamorous industry, are we? Even though we’re in the “World’s Adult Entertainment Capital”…. It seems to have moved from Chatsworth to somewhere in Hollywood, maybe an alley off Cherokee."

Jed emails: "As far as your photographic ability, I don't see a problem with it, looks like an adequate representation of your subjects. Good to see Lockwood's made it through his first Kubrick film."

I interview Jeanie Marie Sullivan, who grew up in Southern California and Las Vegas. "I've wanted to be a porn star since I was seven," she says. "I got into some porn when I was very young and decided that that was what I wanted to be."

Luke: "What did your parents want you to be?"

Jeanie: "They weren't really around. That's why I was watching so much porn as a kid. I was bored a lot."

Luke: "What crowd did you hang out with in highschool?"

Jeanie: "These guys right here. I've had the same friends my whole life.

"I did try out for cheerleading. I made squad but I didn't end up sticking with it. I did something else. I had other things on my mind."

She gives a nervous giggle.

"My dad was in Vegas. He used to have a lot to do with this industry. One day I decided that this was what I wanted to do.

"I'm not that interesting. You'd be surprised. I have a low-key life."

Luke: "What do you love and hate about being a porn star?"

Jeanie: "I love porn. I hate what it's done for sex. I still pose for my angles when I'm having sex at home."

Luke: "How has it affected your love life?"

Jeanie: "I never had one, so not much. I've never had much lovemaking. I've had a lot of sex. I don't date."

Luke: "What do you want from life?"

Jeanie: "This is it. When I'm done with being talent, I want to direct and produce and distribute. I'm going to hit it from every angle I can."

Luke: "Did you lose any friends when you became a porn star?"

Jeanie: "Yes."

Luke: "What did people say?"

Jeanie: "They just passed a lot of judgment about my character. They generalize. They think my character has changed but it's just a character I play on TV. If they can't define the difference, that's their loss."

"I'm done being childish. I've experimented with everything stupid that I wanted to. I've grown into my own here where I belong."

"I like that they sensationalize you and that you're paid to be promoted. I'm all for publicity. I do enjoy socializing with the fans. They're my favorite part of the business. I don't care about anyone else."

Luke: "Do you make friends in the industry?"

Jeanie: "It's easy to socialize with the girls. It's hard to maintain strong bonds. There's a lot of jealousy."

I talk to Mickey G. about Roxetta's rants about him. Mickey says he's ready to change his phone number. He doesn't bother to return her calls.

Justin Snyder says things are fine between him and his ex-girlfriend Jezebelle Bond. She made heavy charges against him -- that he beat her, etc. But they've worked together since and they're evidently friends.

I arrive at 9:30 p.m. and leave at 11 p.m.

Hey Luke, I read on your site that you reported that there were more members of the media than porn girls at our Heaven & Hell Halloween party this past Saturday night at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Hollywood. I think we both were at the same party but in the future, I encourage you to stay past 11:00PM as most porn girls are just putting their shoes on at 11PM. We had a great time as porn partiers decked in Halloween costumes mixed throughout the club but mostly enjoyed the nice weather on the roof top rock ‘n roll patio as the drinks flowed and spirits soared. I am not saying it was our greatest party ever (remember the Dark Angels 2 and Decline bashes? Those will be hard to beat) and it will not even come close to the Sex Z Pictures Corruption party that we are planning for Saturday, November 11th but in an effort to help the process of fair and balanced reporting I offer the following:

The party went until well after 4AM, had a total crowd of 2300 people and any bash that has female performer of the year candidate Hillary Scott, Jasmine Byrne (J-Ho), Courtney Cummz, Lexxi Tyler plus a number of top porn agency heads with their girls in tow must not be too bad even by the lofty standards that we have set for porn party excellence.

As reported by AVN and XFanz among others in attendance were Crissy Cums, Kat, Avy Lee Roth, Jenna Presley, August, Katja Kassin, Mya Mason, Nikki Fairchild, Leah Luv, Gianna Lynn, Tiana Lynn, Jeanie Marie, Katie Ray, Presley Maddox, Havana Ginger, Alexia Milano, Lindsey Meadows, Britney Stevens, Whitney Stevens, Isis, Riley Evans, Veronique Vega, Amber Peach, Sierra Sin, Gina Giovanni, Regan Reeves, Gia Jordan, Siena Rivers, Lori Pleasure, Candy Manson, Brooklyn Night, De’Bella, Tanya Hardin, Lori Lust, Lexie Lamour, Coco Chanel, Cassie Pisshione, Tabitha Tucker, and dozens of others. A number of top directors including Vince Voyeur, Van Styles, Will Rider and performer/director Kurt Lockwood were hanging with packs of girls. The entire Wanted List crew with gorgeous girls were there, as well as Nectar’s girls, Smash Pictures cuties and folks from KSex, XFanz and AVN were all very well represented and having fun. Even Tee Reel and Tommy Gunn partied into the night and how often do you see Tee Reel at a porn party?

This was only a party and truthfully nothing to get too serious about, but from reading your commentary, it seems like it was a sad event on the level of a funeral. It was fun for almost everybody there and as Larry Flynt says “It’s just sex”. See you all at the Sex Z Pictures’ Corruption party which if I have anything to say about it (and I do) will go down in porn party history as a bash in the Dark Angels 2 category that we threw last year in the converted aircraft hanger in Burbank. The best adult movie of the year deserves the best party or the year.
