Webmaster Access Show

It ran Nov 16-19 in Universal City and over 500 people attended.

A friend reports: "Friday night's Playboy party was off the hook. There were about 400 people there, about half of them were webmasters. The sponsors paid out a lot of money. There are some funny threads on GFY. Check out Lars's thread. He's pissed off because somebody jumped on the bus and crashed the party. This happens all the time at other parties, but because there was so much money at stake (sponsors were paying out $40,000), and all the sponsors were seeing people get into the party who shouldn't be there, were flipping out on GFY."

Legendary Lars, a powerful internet porner, writes on GFY:

Some people paid $5000-$10000 to get into this party... A certain person who was not invited to the playboy party just kept on hopping on busses and gettting booted off cuzz he did not have a wrist band. Eventually he must have in the frenzy boarded a bus who did not check his wrist and he was able to get into the party with no invite. After the huge money we laid out to show our friends and affiliates a good time its a shame this peice of self dilusioned cock fuck managed to weasle his way onto the bus and party at the mansion, uninvited. Had I known while I was at the party that he had no invite, I would have had him thrown out on his sorry broke ass.

Well this thread is starting to rub salt in a wound, I don't know about you Lars but I turned away alot of big clients because we simply did not have the invites. To hear that Playboy had a standby list and US THE SPONSORS did not have the ability to get to that waitlist first is a big piss off. I turned away 2 big clients at the last minute because I was told there was simply no way I could get them in. Turning those clients away has possibly cost me tens of thousands a month in potential revenue. Then we go to the Mansion and some guy who just waits around long enough gets an invite? That's bullshit. I was quite happy with the party and had a great time, but to hear all this stuff now is certainly not making me feel good about the amount of money I spent for an "exclusive" event.

Fetishblog writes: "I don't think the guy that got in with a wristband is an idiot. I think the idiots are the ones that spent $5000-$10000 to attend this so called party."

WarChild writes:

So let me get this straight, you're surprised somebody pulled a low class scummy move at a webmaster event?

News Flash: This business is full of the lowest common denominator. From chairs flung off balconies, to groping models, to blowjobs in the hot tub ... Is there any wonder people get the impression about this industry they do?
