Bruce Walker Dies

Veteran porner Bruce Walker died Sunday night of kidney failure. He's battled cancer for a year. In February, 1999, he suffered a stroke.

He's survived by several children and his porn producing wife Lynne L-patin.

Walker was taken to the hospital Wednesday night suffering from kidney failure.

After managing a video store in Westwood in the early '80s, Walker entered porn through Russ Hampshire's VCA in 1983. During his interview, Russ asked Walker about his work background. Bruce said that he'd spent most of the previous ten years smuggling heroin from Asia. Russ immediately knew that he'd found the right stuff, porn gold, just the right person to work for VCA. Birds of a feather flock together. Hampshire's partner at the time, Walter Gernert, had a huge cocaine problem, as did most of the industry.

Drug dealing is one of the most frequent backgrounds for porn dealers.

If you've smuggled drugs and would like to get into porn, give Russ a call. Or Stevie Hirsch at Vivid. Or Edward Wedelstedt, former methamphetamines freak, at Goalie Entertainment.

Eddie W, by the way, made death threats against me, I hear, at the AVN Conference in Cancun, Mexico this spring.

I visited Bruce Walker at his home April 22nd.

Bruce's widow Lynne writes: "We'll send donations [for prostate cancer] to PSA c/o Ira T. Berkowitz Acctncy Corp., 20750 Ventura Blvd., #208, Woodland Hills, CA 91364 with memorial services pending cremation. Anyway, I think this completes my work for the day other than going over to the mortuary to sign paperwork. Part of my husband's legacy to me was working together to establish a business for my support and protection now and, if exploiting his death will further that aim (or prevent someone else from dying a nasty, premature, preventable death), I'm sure he won't mind too much.

"[I intend to] set up a not for profit agency to, firstly, educate the adult industry community and via medium of porn, gay and straight, reach out to our customers as well, regarding prostate cancer; and, secondly, provide low or no cost PSA testing to the members of the adult industry community here in SFV, at least to the performers.

"It looks like there will be four services, one for family here, one for family in Arkansas, one for friends here, one for industry I think in Las Vegas at CES.

"My husband was in the prime of his very full life and died an awful, ignoble death because a test wasn't ordered, because prostate cancer was considered an old man's disease and he was only 50. And Bruce was at the early end of the baby boomer generation -- we can look forward to years more of increasing cases of prostate cancer unless we get the testing into place pronto."

From www.geneross.com:

Kid Vegas may have been too wasted for the awards, but I'll try to present a rundown of Night of the Stars this morning, plus include all the action that occured before and after the famous Marc Star-Luke F-rd one-punch confrontation on the Summer Expo convention floor Friday afternoon in later postings.

Regarding the celebrated Star-Ford confrontation, you may have read Ford's version of the incident. Ford had been writing stories about Star's brother, Darren Star, a Hollywood producer responsible for such shows Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place; and Sex in the City. Ford has connected Darren Star with the murder of a 19 year-old actress several years ago in New York.

Marc Star says the story is bulls--- and demanded that Ford take the story off his sight. Star claims Ford said no, it was a legitimate story. That's when Star hauled off and struck Ford on the convention floor. Star, a photographer, who has acquired instant cult hero status, has this to say about the incident.

Star: "It felt good. The story was an Internet rumor that started about a year ago. There are no newspaper articles about this woman. There are no newspaper stories in the New York Post or the Observer that says she ever existed."

G. Ross: "How come I never saw you on Beverly Hills 90210."

Star: "Maybe you could have spotted me at the bar at Melrose Place....what happened was that I was in a space about this [Ford's story]. It was an instant reaction. It was something inside of me. I just happened to see him on the floor. I never read Ford's site. Somebody told me he was writing about my brother. I checked it out and decided the next time I see him I gotta say, you have to take this down. It's not true. It's not right. He refused. The truth is my brother has never seen Luke F-rd's site. He's never seen the story. He probably wouldn't even care. But this is a guy [Ford] who I've dealt with on different business levels for about a year. I know the guy. He can't be printing lies. It happened. I did what satisfied me. I walked over to the bar, got a drink....then Brick Majors and another guy came over and tried to intimidate me. They came over as I was getting my drink. They came on either side of me. Whoever the guy Majors was with said he was going to do the same thing to me. I go, whoa, I'm standing right here. They ended up running over to the security guards pointing me out to them...I never figured there was much to get away from."

To make things really interesting, Star is supposed to be covering a Knob/Ryder shoot in Hollywood today. Ford's supposed to be there, too. "I found out Ford's going to be there...I'll be shooting my photos...until the security guards come," Star quipped. "He Ford] deserves ongoing antagonism. I don't know if I'm going to hit him every time I see him. I may have been inspired by the moment. I can't leave him alone while he's promoting slanderous lies."

Brick Majors offered this comment Saturday afternoon:

Majors: "I'm not happy with Luke F-rd. I told Star if you're going to fight the guy, don't take cheap shots. If you're going to fight the guy, step up and fight the guy."

G. Ross: "I heard that you called security on Star."

Majors. "No. I never talked to security. I never saw security....honest. Somehow it got back to Luke F-rd that security's asking me if I saw the fight. No. I saw them discussing something. I didn't see anybody swing. All I heard is that Marc Star took a cheap shot. I told Marc Star if you have a problem with somebody, step up. Then security came up to me. I said, hey, I didn't see anything."

Lavender Mob

Marc Star Punches Luke

Luke: "I think with the decline of Cosa Nostra aka Mafia, the next big threat to Christian America is the Poofter Mafia, which dominates Hollywood, and increasingly, through AVN, FSC etc, heterosexual porno. And I think that sucks."

Astral Ocean sales head Lysa Stone: "This [Marc Star punching Luke] has nothing to do with the "gay mafia" and everything to do with Marc Star defending his brother. Darren Star is completely unaware of any of these postings. Luke's "information" is coming from a wanna-be journalist from NY. This person never bothered to check some very important facts.

"Wanna follow these Darren Star postings up with the facts rather than someone's damaging musings? There are many many facts out there that you haven't bothered to look for. Why was I able to find them so easily and you weren't? You are accusing someone of murder. What if this is false? (and everything I've found so far says your source is wrong) Luke, you must stop convicting people on heresay.

"In this case, someone you don't even know gave you this story to run with. You have no idea where it came from. It bothered me when you said to me that if 3 people go on the record stating something, it's a fact. You say that's legit in court, I do not. If that's your theory, it's easy enough to say that I saw you breaking into a house. If Roger Pipe and Jim Gunn back me up and say, "yeah, we saw Luke breaking into that house too" that's fact? Even if you know for sure that you were not breaking into that house? But we said we saw you, so that's that! You are seriously grasping at straws and rapidly losing your credibility. Put a little effort into it and there are plenty of real things you can find on a lot of people. Stop making it up."

Ultradamno writes on RAME: "You're running out of minority groups to exploit in your trolls, Luke. Soon, you may have to dig down deep and find a sinister reason for all the white men in porn."

Homosexual porn maven Tim Evanson writes on RAME: " I wish the LA Times had covered your homophobia in its latest article on you. I certainly DO hope that the Gay Mafia exists, and that it takes over Hollywood, and that it runs you right out of town, Luke F-rd, for being such a shoddy journalist and gay-baiter. Darren Star's supposed involvement with this dead girl was never "covered up." There's just no story behind it. And if the mainstream media never picked up on this episode, perhaps it has more to do with Fox and spin-doctors at 20th Century than it does with Darren Star being gay."

Sex: "As a gay guy myself I used to joke about a 'gay mafia' when I lived in San Francisco. I used the term to refer to a clique of dirty old men who would swap the latest xxx videos at the videostore counter so the rest of us couldn't get our hands on them for weeks or even months until all the old boys had seen them. As far as Hollywood goes, I'm sure that there is an element of a gay mafia. BUT no one can tell me that there isn't even a bigger jewish mafia running the shop. To anyone born outside the U.S. and living here that fact sticks out like a sore, er, thumb. I'm not anti any group, but I'm sick of hearing 'group x' runs this, 'group y' doesn't get any representation on TV etc. If we're going to have a sensible discussion on the subject we need to get it ALL out on the table, (even if it's just not PC for some people)."

Mark: "Hey Luke, There really is a God! If anyone deserves a good punch in the face it's you and of course, Max Hardcore! P.S.- Maybe from now on you'll actually have solid evidence backing up all your stories!"

Steve: "What I want to know is, how does one become a "made man" in the Gay Mafia? How does one "make one's bones"? The mind reels at the possibilities ... Anyway, I qualify to join. When can I expect my black Lincoln Town Car? My comped suite at Caesar's Palace? My linguine with clam sauce? Also, I'd like to state here and now that I do NOT want Joe Pesci to play "Essex9999" in "Good GayFellas." Ray Liotta would be acceptable, although I would prefer DeNiro. But absolutely NO Joe Pesci. Capisce?"

Voyager7: "Follow the money Luke, follow the money.... and it will all lead to those silly munckins from the Wizard of Oz."

NiceJewishGirl writes Luke: "All your so-called RAME-mates are completely jealous of you, that's why they're criticizing you, they're gleeful in their hatred of you, but actually they wish they were famous like you, they wish they didn't have to go to their rotten jobs, they wish they could go to porn shoots and have sex with porn stars. You are living their dream and they are jealous. Even though they don't understand that you are really tortured inside about porn, it's good it's bad, I think it's something you fluctuate with daily. Be spiritual, this too will pass."

Beast7@webtv.net Writes About Papillon

Hi Luke-I promised you an exclusive some time ago from Papillon, regarding her ex, who had her thrown in jail after she punched him when he revealed to her (at his job-DJing at Exotica in City Of Industry, where she was to meet him to go home that day) that he was gay, but couldn't bring himself to tell her before then, and so he just couldn't stay married to her, sorry. Well, she never quite got around to coming over to my place long enough to use the email and write you (you know how these girls can be!), and now she's disappeared! I'm writing to you because I've run out of other ideas to find her, and I fear her husband may have something to do with it! No one answers at her home, her home and cell phones have been disconnected after weeks of simply ringing without answer. She was supposed to join me for lunch about 5-6 weeks ago, and she never showed up, I (or anyone else I know) haven't heard from her since! If you or anyone out there knows where she is, and how she's doing, please let me know. Also, at the time she disappeared, she was about 7 months pregnant with this asshole's baby! Anyone with any information should email me at beast7@webtv.net.

Halitosis writes Luke

"You better be nice to Misty Rain. I read what you wrote about her July 11. She was very gracious during the convention last week and took time to meet all of her fans. I waved at her and she waved back with a big pretty and sincere smile. I saw her boyfriend too. He is a nice person. Misty would only be with nice people. That's the kind of person she is. I never saw her with anything that would have made her act "funny". I watched her for over five minutes and saw her drink only bottled water. I even saw her break the safety seal on the bottle so don't try to make any funny comments about what was in the bottle. She was as pure and wholesome as the water she drank. I only saw you walking around and fumbling with your little camera. Misty was working very hard, was punctual every day of the convention and worked her (pardon the language) bottom off the entire time. Not like some gossipy fatty tatty "reporters" I've seen and heard about."

Marcus Starks Interviews Mr. WebReview

Hi, my name is Marcus Starks of www.jasminesfriends.com and I write a weekly anything goes commentary about sports, adult entertainment, websites, beautiful girls, music and any other issues that is of interest to our visitors. It's called John Blaze and our site is doubling in hits every week while continuing to expand in the upcoming weeks. Recently I did a interview with Mr. WebReview.

Marcus Starks: So where and when were you born?

Mr. WebReview: I was born in South Dakota. 1960s.

MS: What were you like as a kid?

MR: Normal I guess

MS: Were you expose to a lot of sex when you were a kid

MR: Not anymore than the next person. I liked girls, felt them up in class, and got slapped for it. Similar stories to most guys I suppose. Kissed first girl in sixth grade, that kind of stuff

MS:Typical kid then

MR: Yep

MS: Who was your dream babe when you were a kid?

MR: Man, Farrah Fawcett. I mean didn't everyone jones off that red swimsuit calendar? I used to stay up late to watch "Charlie’s Angels" and stuffed a towel under my door so my Mom wouldn't see the light of my TV. I turned the sound down really really low!

MS: Everyone loved her, still looks good for her age today

MR: Yeah, you see her Playboy spread? She's got incredibly long nipples. I see why that ol' calendar sold so well.

MS: Yeah I did actually, I saw the video too when it was on pay-per view a couple of years ago. Not bad

MR: Agreed.

MS: Did you go out with a lot of girls when you were a kid?

MR: Not as a kid. As I got to teenage years I went out with a few. I wasn't setting the "who's the man" record or anything, but I was cool.

MS: At what age did you lose your virginity?

MR: Oh, I knew this was coming. I was going on 16.

MS: What did you wanted to be when you were growing up?

MR: As a baby boy, my moms said I wanted to be a garbageman. We lived in NYC and they were union, you know! Later, a doctor, a lawyer, typical stuff.

MS: So at what age did you get into this biz and how did it happen?

MR: Well, I started watching porn in college, about 1987 or so. We would rent Amber Lynn movies b/c I thought she was cute and had a nice figure.... I watched until about '90 and stopped for awhile. About two years ago, I got back into it after Adam & Eve (you know that company?) sent a catalog to the house and I took a look and ordered a video.... As for reviewing, it's just something I started doing on a whim at Excalibur.I saw some folks were sending them in and I didn't think they were that good, so I did one. I did two. Next thing you know, the folks there were asking me to do reviews all the time and sending me movies. It was/is a nice hobby and diversion from the real world.

MS: So that's how you got the job basically, must be nice getting all the porn movies sent to you and you don't have to go out and rent them or buy them

MR: Yes, it is. but you get so many and you feel like you have to do them all. It also gets to cluttering up the room and the wife, who's been a trouper and is OK with all this, gets a little fed up if company's over and they stumble across, "Bimbo Chicks From Hell" or something.

MS: I suppose so.Have you ever starred in a movie or would like to?

MR: No, I'm not a porn actor. I couldn't risk myself like that. That’s a dangerous business. I appreciate what they do and it's a multi-billion dollar biz so many folks are watching who say they ain't, like your uncle down the street or Lou at the post office. I would like to begin interviewing some stars, so Janet Jacme if you're reading, email me at mrwebreview@hotmail.com and that goes for Heather Hunter, Midori, basically any of the top black stars right now.

MS: Amen to that, email me too, will get to them in a second but do you ever masturbate or ejaculate while watching or reviewing your movies?

MR: Sorry, I thought you were still going...No. I won't lie and say I never have. We all have. But not now. I usually watch, sometimes with the wife, its good foreplay some of the films. Others offend her and me with treatment of women (why is Stephanie Swift in a film where men are spitting in her face, one after another? Is that necessary)? Most movies do warm you up though and if you want to masturbate to them, shoot, it's healthier than picking up a lady of the night and risking yourself. It's cheaper, too, plus porn movies can help men and women stay with their mates. It's fantasy, man that’s all it is. Some of us get carried away with derivatives and start watching animals and kids, which is sick, but for most of us, we just like watching a little ass and titties.

MS: Applause. I couldn't have said it better myself. That's all porn is, just fun.

MR: Gracias

MS: No doubt

MR: Like Teddy Riley says, "Yep yep"

MS: What's the hardest thing about your job?

MR: Reviewing movies you don't have much interest in. See, when you go to the store and see "Black Cheerleader Search 74" you know you're going to be into that because it's hot black girls, big booties and the like. When William Jefferson Clinton goes to get one, assuming he does (wink wink), he might get "Hardcore Honies" knowing he's getting a blue-eyed blonde with big, albeit fake tits. Me, I have to review both and all things in between. Your urge is to hit fast-forward often, but you've got to pay attention to the dialogue. Now, Marcus, when was the last time you paid attention to the dialogue. Once Kitten starts talking in SugarWalls, you're hitting the button until she pulls out those lucious tits and begins to shake that phat ass in the camera's face and it seems so close to your grill that you can't stand it anymore. I'd like to be like that, but in the reviewing biz, you've got to wade through all of Peter North's bad acting. That's what makes Buttman movies so much fun. The dialogue is as good as the hittin'.

MS: Yeah I've seen some movies where the dialogue is pretty good but I love my gonzo films.

MR: I think gonzo is the best style going, but some gonzo like Titman's Pool Party is too much tease and not enough sex. You can only do good tease when you've got hot women. The cesar video series is good tease (the strip girls ones) and Evan from your site wants me to review some videos he ordered from a company in Florida. I told him I would. I appreciate good tease. I think UVP does a good tease line with their black strippers although it's all filmed in the same room and the girls only rub on themselves. If they added a little digital penetration or dildo, that series would be, as you young fellas say, "off the chain."

MS: True, so how many movies do you review per day?

MR: I haven't done any in about three weeks. But I just started doing this basically in May. I've done 58 since then. But when I start again -- I'm talking to a few companies right now about joining their teams and I'm hoping to get a web page up soon -- I'll do five a week after putting about 10 in the hopper, so I'll have new reviews ready each weekday. Once you get ahead, you can do less than one a week really, but you also want to be ready for new releases, and I have to get up with all the porn companies to make sure I've got them.

MS: That's good. You know me too haven't seen a porn movie in a long time, I can't believe it cause I use to go regular since the store gets new ones like each week but now I know when I go back I'm going to be lost.

MR: Nah, you'll be reacclimated very quickly...I would suggest one thing for you and your readers if going to the store is, um, a bit embarrassing. Excalibur films, http://excaliburfilms.com offers a wonderful trade in policy. You guy a film and you can trade it for a film of equal price for a $3 fee. That’s like renting after you buy. If you buy, say, $100 worth of films in a few months, you can trade $100 worth of product and it's mailed to your door. No stigmas and it's a first class company. I know. I was a customer once

MS: Well I have to look into that since it's coming from you.So why does porn movies cost so much to buy?

MR: Movies at Excalibur cost from $9 to $39, I believe. Newer ones cost more, of course. Why? Well, a lot of folks have to be paid. The stars, directors, video companies, distributors and whomever you are buying from. It's like anything else. It's a big ol' food chain. But my best advice? Buy older flicks and trade 'em. Every new flick will be old one day. Ever wonder why smart people buy the Mercedes 2 years or 3 years old? Still looks the same drives the same and you and I still think it's a phat '99 when really it's a phat '97.

MS: That's a good point. What is the weirdest thing you ever saw in a porn movie?

MR: Let me think for a sec....I saw a movie called "Barbara The Barbarian" that was so funny and how they tried to recreate Conan. I've seen some stupid older black movies where Sean Michaels, who's turned into an A-I producer, tried to remake Boyz in the Hood to terrible results. I thought that was weird, to try to have a "message" porn movie. When it comes to triple X, really I would just rather see the sex. Forget plot, forget character development, just -- as my grandma used to say -- get to the gettin'

MS: Applause, that's how it should be done.

MR: A lot of movies are going that way. My favorite series, SugarWalls, Fade To black, Black Cheerleader Search, Buttman, Seymore Butts, they all know the secret.

MS: Indeed what advice would you give to people who want to do your job?

MR: Be persistent, work on your writing, be honest and don't be afraid to look at things with a critical eye. MS: What do you want to accomplish from this?

MR: This job? I wanted to provide credible reviews to help consumers, like you, know what to buy or rent. I also wanted to be a place where people could go to get credible information about black films and black stars. Both are terribly underrepresented by the porn print media, though their following is huge.

It's like all the folks who are screaming at WCW for putting on Master P. P is huge in the black community. When he tried out for the Charlotte Hornets NBA team, they sold out an exhibition! I read about it online and it seemed like folks were stunned. They didn't know. It’s time that online folks and companies understood the strength and power of the black star and begin to market them to the "broad" audience. I hate -- and sorry to be longwinded here -- when I read about a white star who won't work with blacks.

I hate when I read about Playboy TV not putting more blacks on. I read on the blackgirl online chat board that you all want Janet J and some others on. I think it's great. I think it's great Gary Gray put on Cinnabunz and India a few weeks back. If he put on Janet Jacme and told folks it was coming, his audience would be huge(r). Even if playboy had one show, maybe 30 minutes, devoted to black stars where they could come on, dance a little bit and get interviewed, it would be a big hit. No, Playboy isn't going to win huge ratings with a constant diet of black performers. Let's get real.

America is 64 percent non-black, but they can establish a new audience by doing so. So you all tell each other to email them I think is a good idea. I think emailing always works to let companies know what their audiences like. A lot of times execs will sit in rooms and determine what the audience wants. That's unfortunate. OK, I'm off the soapbox now.

MS: That's ok, it's good. Now that you are off the soapbox lets talk about black porn, our favorite and some of the stars in that field.

MR: Marcus, are you from Canada?

MS: Yeah, Toronto

MR: I see. Sorry, black stars

MS: That's ok, ok, who is always keeps on innovating in black porn today?

MR: Well, the best person in black porn today may not be black. I think Nikki Starks, who just left the Sugar walls series to do his own thing, shoots blacks as well as anyone. Starks is not white, but I'm also feeling Jake Steed, though he needn't call our sisters Hoes and Freaks. Sean Michaels is among the best around but he's getting into other areas and is embracing women of all ethnicity, which is cool, too, but he's getting into bondage now I hear. Oh, obsession's new series is tight, too MS: Bondage and Shawn Michaels, I never thought I would hear that.

MR: Well, he's going that way.

MS: What is lacking in black porn today?

MR: Janet Jacme!!!! Kidding, kind of. Porn needs her back like tennis needed Andre Agassi. No performer ever brought her energy, skills and body to the screen. The woman never took a day off. I think black porn is improving greatly. We see black women getting into the production side and I know Dee's not black, but she’s doing some good work with her husband Rob. I think it's the production/promotion side of things that needs to improve. You need to walk into the bigger porn stores and see black stars on box covers and at autograph sessions. Having them on mainstream access channels like Playboy would help immensely.

MS: That's all true. So who's the hottest black porn star that you are excited about right now?

MR: I really like Kitten. I don't know what she’s doing, but she's got the personality, the acting chops and the camera presence. She looks a bit like Salt (Sandy Denton) of Salt N Pepa, and I think she should really push that look without saying she's going for it. What a body on this woman and she can go with the best of 'em. s--- gets madd hectic at my place. So hectic that I couldn’t continuing my concentrate on the interview. I hate it when peeps bug or interrupt me. So we continue the interview three days later.

MS: Ok this is the moment we all been waiting for which is porn So which black pornstar has the potential to go mainstream like Jenna Jameson?

MR: I think Obsession is getting close. Being a lighter skinned performer (and I hate to break it down like this), she may be a little easier to swallow and looks more like the traditional star. I think Chocolate is gorgeous, though, and could easily be a mainstream girl. Midori had the potential, but didn't quite have the complete look. She could look supreme one day and average the next. I only wish a girl with Kitten's magnetic personality had a cover-ready face. But I love Midori. When she's on. You can't handle her.

MS: Yeah you got to have that personality cause when you look at Jenna and Nikki Tyler they have it all. MR: I'm not the biggest Jenna fan. I think her performances are weak and I’m not buying the whole shy girl thing. And I'm not much into boob jobs...I do think Dee could go very mainstream although she's not black. She is ethnic and all that

MS: So who is the most overrated female in black porn today?

MR: Most overrated? Hmm, maybe Ebony Ayes, but I really hate to say that. I find many of her performances not up to snuff with some of the "stars" of the past like Lana Sands. Jordan McKnight et al.

MS: So who's the most underrated?

MR: I'm so glad Sinnamon is back. She may not be the most gorgeous girl, but she sure has an ASS and her performances are always over the top, with great energy and if she's faking Os, she’s got me fooled. She's gotten some work in mainstream films, a few gang bang flicks as a fluffer, but she's got the magic that films need. I mean, if Mila can be a big star, why not Sinn? I also think Monique is underrated, though she's so slender she doesn't do much for me, but she and India (who I should've mentioned earlier as crossover potential) have the slim body and facial features that mainstream audiences would love.

MS: I was thinking you knew a ethnic honey by the name of Vanessa she's starred in a couple of movies with Jake Steed and Ed Powers, she has all the right tools the only thing she is lacking is the tits you know who I’m talking about?

MS: No, I haven't seen Vanessa. I'll have to keep an eye out. I may have seen her and didn't remember, but if she were as phat as you describe I would've noticed.

MS: Trust me on this one I know she is so over look but she has talent. So how much has black porn suffered from racism?

MR: Agreed.

MS: Do you think that it's suffered too much or it's just all hype and they should stop blaming people for their troubles?

MR: No, I do think it's played a role. But first you've got to look at the audience. There are more white porn fans than black and blacks are only now beginning to become heavily involved with the industry and do it not so "in the closet," if you know what I mean. Blacks have had a hard time getting work in the past, and superstars like Angel Kelly and Dominique and Lana have been stuck in too many "black butt bitches" movies. It was demeaning to them to have to endure this. This kind of thing continues though not as much, but you still hear weird stories like white actresses not wanting to work with blacks for fear of ruining their careers and you hear about how Janet Jacme was run off from the biz b/c her butt was too big and no one wanted to work with her (imagine that).

So these things go on and make it hard, but as more blacks begin to buy/rent videos and get onto newsgroups like rec.arts.movies.erotica and let their feelings be known to starlets and producers (especially producers), the better things will get. Blacks need to let video stores, online stores know that they want movies about blacks. You have to let folks know you're out there.

MS: Yeah you know the weirdest excuse I've heard why white girls don't work with blacks is I remember this one from Asia Carrera is their penis are too long, they all have it down to their knees. That's silly I think and the same goes for the Janet situation.

MR: Well, I wonder if Asia ever got with, say, Peter North. He's as hung as any black star. That’s a flimsy reason. But oh well. What can you do? Now, we have some white stars and producers (TT Boy, Nicky Starks) beginning to appreciate black and ethnic stars and putting heavy resources into top-notch looking films about them. That is progress. Fans of black film, though, need to get off black-only boards like BGOL, Jasmine, etc, and also hit some of the mainline boards and newsgroups as I mentioned earlier. Let folks know that you all know what's going on. Read Luke F-rd (www.l-keford.com) and Gene Ross (www.geneross.com) and email those guys and talk about black stars, mention movies you liked, stars you liked, ask for interviews with them. That's important.

MS: True indeed we need to start campaigning, I think I'm going to lead that movement!

MR: Well, I think it's needed. I've been reading Evan McGuiver's "Daily Dish" and I see he pushes for readers to email Playboy and other companies and ask for black stars. Again, I don't think it can hurt. I think it's always good to let companies know what audience or potential audience they have. I think the first mainline site to really figure out how large the audience and potential audience is for black film is going to be really, really rich. I can't tell you the emails I get from non-black readers who are clamoring for info on black stars and more movie information. The market is out there. It just needs to be tapped with a first class operation.

MS: True again so which celebrity would you love to see in black porn?

MR: Oh, I don't know. That's a bit of a loaded question. Most celebs aren’t' going to do porn, unless you're like Pam Anderson and someone steals your home movie and makes a tape. But I think most guys fantasize over the most gorgeous mainline stars making a film. Ladies like Salma Hayek, Jenny Lopez (who you can almost see in a young Lana Sands, down to the ample posterior), Janet Jackson, etc.

MS: How about singers, who can you think of that would look great in porn? MR: Lopez and Jackson and Mercedes (rapper from Master P), TLC, Cherokee (!), Adina Howard, I don't know, man, a lot of them would look good, but again you won't see it except in fake pictures on line. Women might want to see Ricky Martin, Shemar Moore (actor), those kind of guys. I guess I should talk about guys a little so my wife won't kill me if she sees this.

MS: Speak of your wife, do you and your Wife watch porn together?

MR: Not too often. Every once in awhile. Doing this is more like a job/hobby for me. It's clinical. You know how an OB-GYN male doctor wouldn't get excited if he had Midori in his stirrups? That's kind of what it becomes doing this.

MS: What is your wife's attitude towards porn?

MR: She's really open-minded. She knows men watch it. She knows I watched before now. We have the Playboy channel and she'll watch sometimes. Porn is just entertainment like I told you the other day, no different than Nintendo or the Multiplex showing "Wild Wild West" down the street. Now, I'm not vouching for this animal sex and child sex, I'm talking mainstream, everyday porn.

MS: What do you think about the people who say that porn is bad for our society, that is makes people more likely to rape and abuse women?

MR: I think that too many Americans are too uptight about nudity and sex. We make it so off-limits that it becomes very desirable for youngsters. I think porn is a choice, like having cable. If you don't want it, don't buy it. But don't take away my choice to look at it if I want to. Don't take away my wife's right to abort a baby if she wants to. These are choice issues. The same people who want to take away choice will stand up in church and say they don't want to judge others.

When you take away my choices, friend, you are judging me, saying I'm a bad or lude or crude person because I want to watch two or three or four consenting adults have sex. And isn't funny when you see Polly Penpusher get caught having sex with another woman or a famous person caught doing something weirded out? It happens. As far as abusing women, I don't think mainstream porn will make you want to do that. It'll make you horny a lot of times, but I can't say it makes Jack become a Ripper or not. He probably would've worn out London with or without watching Nina DePonca ride Ron Jeremy like Saturday wasn't coming.

MS: Has your wife try to duplicate anything she has seen in porn?

MR: Nah, we talk about what we like and if we want to play "phone sex", say, we'll do that. Relationships, I think, should be about communication between partners. If she came to me and wanted to act out something she saw, fine, but truth is much of porn isn’t' original: interview, strip, screw; talk, screw; or just plain, screw.

MS: Agreed so has porn improved your sex life?

MR: Nah hasn't changed it at all. Porn is fantasy, though. That's all it is. You watch a perfectly proportioned woman getting it on and imagine yourself as TT Boy or Jake Steed and getting to plug all these hot mamas. It's just a choice for entertainment. Listen, some nights I want to watch "90210" and some nights I want to watch "Black Cheerleader Jungle Jerk-Off." Both entertain me, albeit in different ways.

MS: So does that mean that you haven't tried anal sex with her?

MR: Man, you're getting personal. That's my wife (I am laughing at your questions though). I don’t think many people discovered anal sex by watching videos, at least not people my age. How old are you?

MS: 20

MR: See you're a little younger than I am. I'm 32. I would say don't let your knowledge of sex come from porn videos. Get real education from a library or counselor.

MS: So what is the most racist porn movie you have ever saw?

MR: Wow, tough question. Just some of the titles bothered me, not so much the content. That is changing now. One film though stands out for its denigration of women, Greg Dark's "gangbang girl" starring the gorgeous Stephanie Swift. The lithe Asian is one of the cutest girls in the biz and Dark had these guys spitting in her face and calling her all kinds of demeaning names. It was hard to watch. It was unnecessary.

MS: So who has the best ass?

MR: Put me on a planet, dammit, where all the women look like Janet (Jacme)

MS: Amen. Best blowjobs?

MR: Nina DePonca gave the best I've ever seen, though Taylor Hayes and Stephanie Swift and Janet Jacme are all in my top five with Shane (from Seymore and Shanevideos).

MS: Best f---s as in move their body?

MR: Janet Jacme; Sinnamon; Kitten; Stephanie Swift; Jewel DeNyle; Meka; Menaga; Cherokee; Dee; Stryce-9; Sarah Jane Hamilton (very, very, very underrated British star who can squirt); Fallon (another old school squirter).

MS: Best male?

MR: Jake Steed is pretty consistently a strong performer. No one has done it as well or as long as Peter North and Ron Jeremy, though Jeremy's hairy, rotund body is now a complete turnoff but he brings the best out of starlets, almost like they're so excited to be with a legend they just really get into it. Also Sean Michaels is a solid john and Tom Byron. Lexington Steele, an Omega Psi Phi member (see brand on his arm) is a good up and comer.

MS: Best female?

MR: Janet Jacme has no peer. She is clearly the best star to ever do it on screen: She has a great body (especially great legs and ass) and her screaming performances leave an indelible image in your mind. The other pure sex machine who came close was nasty talking Nina Deponca, who has been seen by far too few fans. I’d suggest ordering/renting some old school Nina to anyone. And Amber Lynn is certainly one of the greats as is Nina Hartley and Taylor Hayes, who is so beautiful it's painful.

MS: Best Tits?

MR: Girl I saw named Imani had an awesome rack. Taylor Hayes has a great one, though enhanced. Sarah Jane Hamilton's inflated boobs look great. Persia had the best rack, though floppy, before she inflated and deflated and got some nasty looking scars in the process; Dee just has an awesome rack, too.

MS: Best Director?

MR: Jake Steed and Nicky Starks, John Leslie and John Stagliano

MS: What are you5 top all time movies?

MR: 1. Chocolate Swerve; 2. Dance Fire; 3. Freaks, Hoes and Floes I; 4. Sugar Walls 5 5. Buttman's European Big Tit Adventure 3

MS: Top 5 worst of all time?

MR: 1. Gang Bang Angels (the Greg Dark film I talked about and may've given you the wrong title for earlier); 2. Black Jack City 2 I think; 3. Deep Throat 4; There's been a bunch but no other titles are sticking in my head right now.

MS: That's not bad though so what is a must see right now?

MR: Right now, I'd point you towards Black Panty Chronicles 2 and this Honey Love. Sexy, sexy.

MS: Ok time for word association you know how to play that right?

MR: Yup.

MS: Ok first one Tia Bella?

MR: Great chest, no ass.

MS: Jake Steed?

MR: Good series. Can’t rap

MS: Joey Slivera?

MR: Fair cocksman.

MS: Dominque Simone?

MR: "They’re about to explode!"

MS: LOL. Shawn Michaels?

MR: Classy and it's Sean (you're thinking of the San Antonio born WWF wrestler, Shawn Michaels).

MS: good guess.Midori

MR: Strong minded. Pregnant. Jodi's sis.

MS: Interesting answer ok now on to your website who created it and maintains it?

MR: I don't really have a site yet. My page on Excalibur was created by them and is maintained by them. I hope to have a site up soon.

MS: What separates your reviews from the rest that's out there?

MR: Well, I write about 60 percent black reviews. You don't get many black reviews done, and fewer done well. I also think I'm thorough and I hope I'm entertaining. Some people have told me they liked me as much as some industry review standards, like Roger T. Pipe, and that is flattering. He's about the best there is.

MS: How often do you update it?

MR: The page at Excalibur was updated every day until about two weeks ago. It will again be updated daily probably beginning late this week or early next. I also anticipate you'll see reviews of mine in some new places as well.

MS: What can we expect to see in the future from you?

MR: Well, I hope my reviews improve and get away from superficial things. Once I get a home, you'll see commentary on the industry, especially the black industry, interviews with the stars, current favorites/recommendations, interviews with producers, all kinds of things. I don't want to play my hand, but I’ve got a lot in the hopper. I just need to get a site up.

MS: Have you done any interviews with producers or stars yet?

MR: No, not yet. I've got no place to put them right now so I haven't, but again, that's coming. I am trying to locate Jacme now for a one-on-one, so if she's reading or anyone is reading who knows how to reach her, my email is mrwebreview@hotmail.com

MS: So what are your favorite sites for anything in general?

MR: For porn, I've got http://excaliburfilms.com bookmarked and www.rame.net and I visit the newsgroups at alt.sex.movies and alt.rec.movies.erotica In general, I visit a lot of news sites and newspaper sites and I read l-keford.com and geneross.com at least once a week and check out avn.com every now and again. I visit the blackgirl online site, which is pretty cool, and today I bookmarked 4usbyus.com. In general, I like the MTV site, the bet site, wwf.com and wcw.com (b/c of my wrestling jones). I'm all over the place on the web, man.
