Tiffany Mynx, Van Damage Sue Rob Black's Extreme Associates
Attorney Michael Friedman writes Luke: "I have filed a lawsuit against Extreme Associates, Rob Black, et al. on behalf of Tiffany Mynx and Van Damage. I will forward it to you by snail-mail since it includes pictures and is over 7 mb in size. The complaint was served on Extreme's business manager, Jon Blatt, today. He did not appear to be pleased with this. I will keep you updated as events unfold."
Rodger Jacobs writes Luke: "Just completed two feature articles for EYE magazine, one on the snuff film phenomenon, another on death fetish erotica. About to interview Houston, when I can work around her busy touring schedule, for Swank's Video World, and I'm writing an article about Wicked Pictures's new wall-to-wall line of videos for Swank as well. Just started preliminary research for a new feature for Hustler --- my ILLEGAL PORN story runs in the current (August '99) issue of Hustler. Aside from all that I'm writing Brad Armstrong's next feture for Wicked, tentatively titled ETERNITY. And yes, Luke, Swank's Paul Gambino asked me today if I'm still going to write an article about you for their magazine."
Mastrick on Vivid
A few months ago Vivid ran a multipage ad in AVN entitled 'Change Is Good.' The ad pictured five new Vivid contract stars, namely Raylene, Kira, Alex Taylor, Veronica, and Devon. I distinctly remember wondering at the time what kind of "changes" were in store. Would the new contract girls skip the 'girl/girl only' debuts that certain Vivid girls never abandon? Would some of the new Vivid girls elect to do more hard-core scenes, such as facial endings and anal? Would Vivid change their marketing focus and produce more original content and less comp footage? And what about all of the complaints about Vivid's picture quality being similar to watching a TV in a foggy room?
I was pleasantly surprised when I rented Vivid's recent release The Watcher. Devon was hotter than a two bit pistol; her best scene had a facial ending and the video quality was excellent. Last week I rented Speedtrap and was impressed again with the picture clarity.
Unfortunately I cannot say the same kinds of things about Vivid's new movie entitled Wildlife. Shot on film, Wildlife offers a nostalgic return to the 'smoke n' mirrors' fuzzy picture quality that has characterized most of Vivid's recent output. Thus far Alex Taylor has done two films for Vivid, and I haven't been able to 'see' either!
I don't know exactly why so many of Vivid's movies are so grainy. A producer/director for a competing company informs me that this degradation in quality occurs during the transition from film to video. However, since I do enjoy watching some of Vivid's beautiful women I can only hope that Vivid focuses more on their picture quality and production techniques in their future endeavors.
Were I Steve Hirsch I would want Vivid's name to be synonymous with beautiful women and crystal-clear picture quality. I hope that Vivid will give us more films like The Watcher and less like Wildlife during the remainder of this millennium. (RAME)
Memories of Show World
Drlove writes on RAME: Rudy Giuliani has finally succeeded in closing the disneyland of peep shows, the multi-level show world emporium in times square. This was a real new york landmark, and a place you could spend a whole day in and not get bored. These are the acts I saw at Show-World over the years:
Lili Marlene--great performance, a naturally horny and sexual woman. Very friendly. She did a wonderful spread shot right on my lap.
Heather Hunter-- best exotic dancer I have ever seen. More petite than I imagined she would be. She did a pose for me, and when she asked my name, I told her "Magic", in reference to to her alleged affair with Magic Johnson (pre-hiv magic). She laughed heartily and gave me a big wet kiss on the cheek, and let me cop a feel of her breasts. Heather is an awesome talent, much better in person than on film.
Veronica Hart- Iremember her grown up children being in the audience while she danced. A classy lady, didn't realize she had a history of severe skin burns until I saw her perform.
Aja- A striking woman in person with bad pock marked skin, and loose jelly roll of a stomach(which was obviously covered up during her film career).
Shanna McCullough- A natural redhead with wide hips and laid back Californian disposition. not much of a dancer, but did a great dildo show.
Tabitha Stevens- Awful performance, and disposition. Seemed like she really didn't want to be there. Probably worst performance Ihave ever seen.
Cheri Taylor- A real sweetheart, she even invited me to her dressing room to talk a bit more.
Jeannie Pepper- better on film than in person. Bad breath.
Barbii- petite and sweet. her career ended way too short. She should make a comeback.
Karen Summer- just remember her thick New York accent.
Susaye London- One of my alltime favs from the golden age(dark brunette/ semitic features). Can't seem to find any golden age videos with her in them.
Busty Belle- i thought she was great, other patrons kept cracking about her paula jones type nose. Felt sorry for her.
Tasha Voux- I was expecting an awesome performance from this athletic petite dynamo, but was disappointed with her lack of chutzpah.
Susan Nero- not much to write home about Sharon Mitchell- Real bitchy, i assume now that it may have been linked to her drug use at the time.
Lois Ayres- Nice overall performance, I remember Robin Byrd being in the audience.
Keisha- big voluptous woman, she must have outweighed me by 20 pounds at the time. Very popular, made huge amount of tips.
Alicia Rio- no hint of the bad times that would follow for this spicy latina. Good show, very interactive with the audience.
Kristarrah Knight- Big Labia, hot show.
When I ask around the industry about obese Dutch porner Charlie Geerts, knowledgeable insiders keep bringing up the name "Perry Ross." A crude belligerent man who oversaw Mark Carriere's Leisure Time and was married to Teutonic blonde Angela Barron, Ross met his death in Amsterdam around 1992. His death was attributed to a heroin overdose. He was found naked and with a needle beside him. Insiders suspect that Ross was forcibly injected with strychnine. In other words, that Ross was murdered and that Geerts was behind it.
Geerts is an enormous man, at least as obese as 400 pound director Thomas Paine. Geerts is widely feared. People worry that Geerts might send a hitman to my door armed with a silencer. Geerts may or may not have people murdered, but his peers regard him as someone with little respect for human life, as someone who would murder people for his amusement.
For the first time, Luke Friday morning put his hands on his new book A HISTORY OF X. It runs 250 pages and contains no photographs. I winced when I read the introductory sentence on the inside cover flap: "This in-depth, comprehensive history of cinematic pornography is the first book of any kind to detail sex in film." I back away from that claim. I was surprised that no photographs were included as I sent several dozen to my publisher Prometheus Books. I received only five free copies from my Publisher (and they're not even Jewish) and my author's discount only runs to 30%. I might as well buy extra copies from www.amazon.com. So don't ask Luke for a free copy.
To meet the overwhelming demand, Luke the Jew has decided to sell autographed copies of his book for $30. You can pick it up at a bookstore for $26 or from Amazon.com at 30% off. I'm going to charge $30 for an autographed copy, because I have to mail it to you and that's a hassle. Of course, if you see me, I would be honored to sign it for free. Don't buy a book and then mail it to me to autograph and mail back, because it might get lost etc and I don't want that bother.
I hear that Ashlyn Gere and Victoria Paris are no longer friends. A few weeks ago, Ashlyn got a call from someone close to Paris who said that Victoria no longer wanted to be friends with Ashlyn. Paris is on about her fifth loser boyfriend. Her last one supposedly ripped her off for thousands of dollars through the fraudulent Alley Katz operation. Others say Alley Katz is an excellent organization.

Mr. Ford Dumped Me!
NiceJewishGirl: I, in no way want to besmirch Mr. Ford's reputation, but the fact that he dumped me because I'm alternative and not "straight" is unbelievable. Mr. Ford is brilliant and talented, but I think he definitely has problems with his expectations of women. The fact that he was obsessed with me, then dumps me almost in the same day is ridiculous and also, insensitive to me, the Real Woman behind the posts to his site.
I can't help it, I like indie movies, alt. art, edgy hard hitting stuff. For some reason, Mr. Ford finds it offending his sensibilities. I find the mainstream awful, although I do not immediately rule out more mainstream types to be involved with. I think there is such a thing as opposite attraction. Unfortunately, Luke F-rd does not even count this as a possibility. He rigidly holds on to his ideal of a nice Jewish temple going girl, when in fact that type of woman will never truly understand him. Even if he wasn't a porn reporter, he has too many twists in his personality (see his autobiography).
In addition, the dichotomies of my own personality, i.e., I do ballet, was understudying in a ballet performing group, love art , politics, opinions, country / alt./ classical music, love Pat Buchanan and Noam Chomsky, Andrea Dworkin and know the names and am fascinated by porn, esp. porn gossip, imply that I am somewhat well-rounded in my thinking, unconflicted in my thoughts (I believe in co-existence of most everything), in addition, I am critical of most everything and like to laugh a lot. I'm a cynic and can be optimistic. I believe in real friendships and sadly, maybe Mr. Ford does not.
I believe that Mr. Ford has beliefs about the roles of women which may be from another era. That is fine, I am however, flesh and blood, extremely bright and working class. The reason I wrote him in the first place is because I love gossip, I liked the fact that he was jewish, that he struggles with this inner turmoil of conflicts, and he's interesting and talented. He put me on his site with my writings for several days (without my knowledge at first), I was shocked at first, because I was writing to him, not his column, and he in no way asked my permission. Then I accepted this.
The fact of the matter is, is that I am a nice Jewish girl. I thought Luke F-rd was a nice guy. I am hurt and saddened by his rejection of me, but I guess that's life.
