A source on Rob Black and his legal problems with accountant Mike Daniels, a partner in Tom Byron Productions:
"I know Rob Black and Mike Daniel's; there is a big contrast between these two; and it is interesting how and why they got into their dispute. I have paid close attention to their dispute; it is amazing that Mike puts up with anything that Rob dishes out. It is also amazing that Rob's attorney continues to work for him.
"Just look at the individuals involved here. Mike Daniel's has three college degrees.....a law degree, accounting degree and a degree in taxation or something like that. He is a very nice and smart guy. He has helped me out of a few legal jams. Mike Daniels is a genius in web site programming; he does web sites for many people. I have seen his work. Mike Daniels has his own business in which he used his own money to build. Rob Black on the other hand films people f---ing. I don't even know how far Rob got in school. Rob took $96,000 from his father to start Extreme Associates. He even has trouble paying the women he films; and for that matter many of his other bills. He talks like a big shot; but without his father's money he would probably be cleaning bathrooms.

"Tom Byron is probably not even aware that a case is going on. Tom should kick the habbit and get back on the straight and narrow. He was a pretty nice guy before he met Rob. Tom is not going to get anywhere financially at this rate. He will end up like that Dirk Diggler in Boogie Nights, beating off on the streets for $20. Also, the bookkeeper at Extreme has been complaining to certain sources about Rob yelling at her and blaming her for stuff like bounced checks and misprints on the boxes."
A contrary source replies: "If "the source" really knew anything about Tom Byron's legal problems he would know that Mike the con man Daniels tried to steal 25% of Tom's production company. He gave Tom a few thousand and a lot of promises that he would give him more money down the road. As soon as Tom signed papers he didn't understand Mike tried to get money the next day. The proof of this if the source would dig deeper is that 25% of Tom's production company is worth at least $125,000.00-150,000. Mike the con tried to steel it for a few thousand dollars.
"Extreme has nothing to do with this problem. All Extreme and the lawyers are trying to do is get Tom back what rightfully belongs to him. Mike the con should be careful that he does not lose his accounting/law license for malpractice.
"The source clearly states that Mike is a very educated man with his three degree. What degree does Tom have, maybe a high school degree. Tom trusted him and Mike took advantage of his trust. Just think about it source where can you buy 25% of a production company for a few thousand dollars? Tom is lucky that Rob Black and a few close friends saw through this scam of Mike's."
Mike Daniels replies: "Much of the stuff posted on the site is a little off. My attorney has advised me not to talk to anyone. However, I must set the record straight. On settling: we are working towards making a deal.
"On being a con man and taking money from Tom Byron Productions, Inc. After becoming a shareholder, I never took one dime from Tom Byron Productions, Inc., not in loan pay backs, not in fees, nothing. Our sworn court papers will bear this out.
"In papers filed with the court, you will see that 1. Extreme Associates earned a substantial amount of revenue from Tom Byron Productions, Inc. and 2. they [Extreme] were paid back in full the money they advanced to Tom Byron Productions, Inc. I [however] ended up with a huge credit card bill, a big hit to my bank account, and a substantial amount of firm time that will never be paid. Our sworn court papers will also bear this out.
"As far as their claim of malpractice, that is a legal term and I don't believe whoever wrote that response would be qualified to make that legal conclusion. Nevertheless, this is something that will have to be proven. They have been throwing around malpractice since we first engaged in this dispute. I don't take well to threats, but it is all they have at this point.
"I have not and will not resort to name calling and threats. That is not a proper manner in which to handle a lawsuit. That manner of dealing with this situation, could come to hurt your case in the end. I will proceed forward on this matter, methodically, on the facts and law, and on evidence and documentation."
