Max Hardcore writes about his CES 1999 plans:

"We’ll be raising a ruckus, and probably more than a few peckers - as well as RISKING ARREST - during our annual expedition to the CES Trade Fair and f----FEST in Las Vegas January 7-10. As usual, we’ll be sledding in style, in our specially prepared 1972 Continental Trailways conversion, "BERTHA," which is specially equipped with a rigid suspension to handle all the rocking going on inside! Accompanying us on board will some horny hell-cats, and a convoy of cuties behind in their
cars. All the rod-gobblers promised to lick my stick if I don’t get lost and can actually navigate them to the show.

Our cast of VOLCANIC VIXENS and COCK SOCKETS include:

1. CANDY HILL, Quote: "Fist me deeper, damn it!
2. JESSICA JEWEL, "You sick bastard! Okay, I’ll lick your ass!"
3. MIKKI TAYLOR, "I don’t do THAT kind of anal."
4. REGAN STAR, "Sure. No Problem!"
5. CHERRY (Stic-9, whatever), "You want me to suck it how?"
6. CANDY CASH, "Cum, cum, cum again!"
7. NANCY VEE, "Oh yeah, I’m definitely a nympho."

New(er) Nymphs:

8. ROSY ROCKET, "I’m a Cock-Socket! I piss, too!"
9. VERONICA VALENTINE, "You’re going to put your fist up where?"
10. JADE MARCELA, "Okay - Okay. OOOOOOH!"

Also flown in for us are three Eurosluts:
11. MARTINA "My ass is pretty, no?"
12. MELINA, "I have f--- now, yes?
13. LINDA THOREN, "I am blond, therefore I do anal!"

Also accompanying us will be our crack camera crew consisting of former CIA surveillance specialists, MARC ALLEN, VIPER, THUMPER, BAM-BAM, GORDO, and several others who would have to kill me if I were to reveal their identities.

As usual, we’ll be staying at a small rat-infested hotel outside town, as we are "unwelcome" within the city of Las Vegas. We will of course have disguises, and will be sneaking into the Sands convention center daily where we’ll be pressing the flesh - in more ways than one I hope, at my usual spot at the LEGEND VIDEO booth, centrally located behind the restrooms in the corner.

Unfortunately, we will be unable to attend the AVN awards this year, as we have so failed to locate exactly where it will be held. I’ve been trying to find it the last eight years, and always seem to show up at the hotel they had it in the year before. Besides, we wouldn’t want to waste an otherwise valuable shooting night with all those sleep deprived f----toys to weak to resist!

Please feel free to contact us in person, no pitches over two minutes please, at the Legend Video Booth at the Sands Convention center down stairs. In the basement, where we belong.

Deep Throat says that the porn industry is run by a good ol' boys club centrally located with Russ Hampshire's VCA, Steve Hirsch's Vivid and Paul Fishbein's AVN. Producers in the club get their duplication done at VCA and their boxes printed at Michael Warner's Great Western Litho.

Here are a few examples of the especially cozy relationship between VCA and AVN:

* Hampshire and Hirsch are AVN's biggest advertisers. Traditionally, VCA wins the AVN award for Best Selling/Renting tape. VCA has won 60 AVN awards in the last five years.

* AVN publisher Paul Fishbein is good friends with Hampshire and Hirsch.

* Fishbein is married to VCA's head of cable TV sales, Kymberly Wilson.

* AVN's Vice President Darren Roberts comes from Babenet, which is largely located at VCA. Russ says he has a "financial interest" in Babenet.

* Internet DeTorquemada Scoop Luke grievously wounded the feelings of AVN Vice President Darren Roberts yesterday by printing this widely known information [1/8 update - Luke talked to Russ Hampshire and Walter Gernert and toned down his remarks]: "Darren Roberts is married to former porn star Brooke Fields who did about 30 pornos in the early '80s. Her real name is Allison Shandebol. On a Bobby Hollander shoot, she says she was raped in the ass by Jamie Gillis. Allison lived for years with VCA founder and longtime bad boy Walter Gernert, who now operates a porn company in Brazil that licenses VCA product there."

The industry's most successful outsider is John Stagliano and Evil Angel, followed by Annabolic, Elegant Angel, Rob Black's Extreme Associates and John Bone.

Three fatal drug overdoses in last few days including a member of the punk band Snot, which is close to Matt Zane (others - rocker Boz Scagg's son and novelist's Danielle Steele's daughter).

Wrestler imlikgod writes: "Luke, When I sent you the first stuff about Rob and wrestling, I didn't realize you were such buddies. Let's clear up some things A. ECW is a small time company, the equivalent of CSP to VCA. B. I am seen by millions of people every Monday night as I work for the VCA equivalent. C. I have friends in ECW who have told me they look forward to smashing a chair over Rob's head. Not everyone likes it when some "mark" off the street comes in and gets TV time. D. At the queens show, people recognized Tom but had no idea who Rob or Lizzy were. E. I told you he better bring a female and he did. F. This is a great promotional coup for Extreme Associates, but as far as wrestling goes Rob was sent out with guys who no one cares about or ever will. G. Most people in wrestling [never] use their real names, and only those on the outside looking in care about such trivial matters."

Rob Black replies: "He says he's with an A company. I don't know who he is... He must be unimportant. Over the weekend, I shared New Year's Eve with Bubba Ray Dudley, Big Dick Dudley and Tommy Dreamer [leading wrestlers] and Francine (Shane Douglas's valet). I talked to Taz on the phone. As long as these guys want to hang with me, who cares what this guy says. He must be a jobber - someone who gets his ass kicked by the big guys."

VCA owner Russ Hampshire returned my call just after noon, Monday. I raised Rob Black's charge that Jill Kelly puts on private parties for VCA employees.

Russ: "I had a bachelor party for my [step] son [30 year-old son of Russ's wife Betty] two years ago. Other than that, I don't know. Why don't you ask Jill Kelly?"

Luke: "I've emailed her but she doesn't reply to me."

Rob Spallone's sitting in Russ's office.

Rob: "She don't like you Luke. She doesn't want her [real] name out there. She's already had trouble with one stalker."

Spallone made a five-scene gonzo video for VCA Explicit.

Luke: "I heard you gave him [Rob] a $1000 extra."

Russ: "No. I'm a businessman. Why would I give him extra money? You [Luke] always hear wrong. What you probably heard is that he came in with a budget and I said, 'no, I'd like to spend a little more to do extra whatever.'"

Rob: "Lukey, are you looking for trouble today? Jill was in my office the other day and we were watching a movie [Shooting Sex] you were in. She's not happy with you. She's had enough problems. She don't want her name on your thing."

Luke: "Her real name is not on my site anymore."

Rob: "There you go, Luke, you're learning."

Russ: "Rob's getting ready to make another one for me. The man has his act together. He met QC (Quality Control) the first time around. Ninety-nine percent of what comes in here does not meet QC the first time it comes in here. It could be a black frame or a dropout or a combination of things. I think that last year I had three out of 80 [videos] pass QC the first time.

"Rob's chromes were impeccable. His model releases... My girls were ranting and raving about how well his information was done...

"Once a director passes QC, he gets the remainder of his fee, depending on the deal.

"I read your latest posting. I couldn't make heads or tails [of the Mike South - Bryan Lambert discussion]. Who are they?"

Luke: "They make amateur porn in North Carolina and Georgia."

Russ: "Oh ok, let them stay there and beat each other up.

"I read that book [The Animal in Hollywood]. Anthony [Fiato]...he embellishes everything, just like you do. He was the toughest guy in the world, and he did this and that, and he turned out to be a rat [informant]."

Luke: "Wasn't it strange that your tape Shock won in a tie for Best Selling Tape 1997 with John Bone's The World's Biggest Gangbang? How could two tapes sell the same amount?"

Russ: "I don't know. Ask Paul [Fishbein]. He asked where I had my boxes printed and he checked with the printer."

Luke: "John Bone says he talked to your printer and he said that he only printed up 10,000 boxes for Shock. John sold over 30,000 copies of Gangbang..."

Russ: "First of all, my printer [Great Western Litho] would never give out that information. Never, ever... Why don't you phone up my printer?"

Luke: "I don't think they would tell me anything."

Russ: "Of course. Why would you think John Bowen could call up? Who is his printer? I want you to follow up on this box BS. If you're going to let people suck you in, I want you to investigate... First of all, it's yesterday's news, so why even worry about it."

Luke: "I'm writing history too."

Russ laughs: "You're writing history? But you don't know who to believe in this industry. Everybody has their own axe to grind. Everybody tells the story the way they want it, so it works out to their best advantage."

Luke: "Over weeks and months, the truth falls into place [from these many voices]."

Russ: "So because I advertise [in AVN] more than anybody else, I get all the awards?"

Luke: "You've had 60 over the past five years."

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Rob Spallone and James DiGiorgio shoot a gonzo for VCA at Rob's new studio in Encino Hills.

Paul Fishbein writes Monday afternoon: "I'm leaving for Vegas now, so I'll see you there. That year [1997 AVN Awards], those two titles were far and away the biggest sellers. By adding together all the numbers from that year (again, these numbers from wholesale distributors are guesses at best), it was too close to call. So I called Great Western Litho, the printer, for a count on the boxes. He said that the total print runs were almost identical and that since he printed for both Metro and VCA and was personal friends with both Kenny and Russ, that he felt it was unfair not to give it to both, When we did it, we didn't call it a tie but said that it was too close to call.

"The mainstream industry has the Sounscan system which for CDs counts the sales at retail. Adult has nothing even close and the industry doesn't seem that interested. In fact, we're not going to call distributors anymore, but ask the maanufacturers and producers to provide numbers."

Prometheus Books has released Pat Riley's X-Rated Videotape Guide VII, which contains this gem in the introduction: "By far the best and most detailed analysis of both the current industry and its past can be obtained, if you're internet-equipped, from Luke F-rd (use a search engine) who has written a long and fascinating history of porn which may show up in book form one of these days. Luke, with whom I've corresponded on many occasions, is almost universally hated by the powers because of his willingness to disclose its darker and dirtier side."

Later, Riley writes: "The magazines that supposedly specialize in reviewing porno movies have deteriorated to the point that they consist of advertisements and puff pieces or are simply "stroke" magazines relying on the porno companies for their photo spreads and only "reviewing" (almost always favorably) movies for which they have been supplied with stills. Notable exceptions are Hustler Erotic Video Guide and Screw which still maintain some distance and can be relied on to take neither themselves, the movies, nor the industry too seriously.

"In order to get some idea of just how lacking in independence most of the reporting industry has become one has only to talk to and understand the attitude of the promotion people at the movie companies. In Star Index II I made some unfavorable comments about one of the contract starlets for a particular company and as a result I got a call from its promotion director who told me that the company wouldn't supply me with stills in the future unless I shaped up and realized "We're all in this together." Well, "we're" not all in this together - my function is to criticize; his is to produce good movies - and his threat was empty as he quickly found out when he looked at the trivial photo insert. However, he was obvioiusly used to pressurizing the review magazines into not publishing anything derogatory and it seems (he said so) this has been a successful technique in the past."

Prometheus does not edit Riley and may not even read his lengthy introduction. By contrast, on my forthcoming (5/99) A HISTORY OF X book from Prometheus, they assigned an editor who's gone over each sentence carefully, covering my manuscript in red ink and post-it notes demanding explanation and verification of my claims.

Riley credits the mainstream's increased interest in porn to a geneal upsurge in the publishing business rather than porn becoming more accepted. "The industry boasts of its huge turnover...[but what about] the constant whining of many producers who allege they can't make a living at the current prices, the bankruptcy of leading manufacturers such as Zane, the pitiful results of the only publicly quoted company in the industry (Metro), the frequent mergers to achieve some economy of scale, the number of companies who quietly disappear, the low premium the softcore industry can command as evidenced by the recent Playboy/Spice merger (and by inference the explicit side), and the lack of financial interest by the mainstream movie business."

Riley estimates the yearly gross of porn studios at $300-$600 million, far below the industry's own hyped figures of several billion dollars.

On page 43, Riley gives this review of the 1997 AVN Awards: "Well, the Oscars it ain't despite what the industry would like you to believe! Bobby Slayton...does his best to keep the show rolling with some flat humor in between six or more "presenters" crowding around the microphone announcing the nominees and then winners in many of the hundred or so categories. That's six or so who have to troop on and off the stage each time, ogle the cameras, and show their total ineptness in reading cue cards - really an excuse for the tarty-looking girls to show off their dresses and their hairdo's... Watch Steve Perry choke up. Watch Missy almost break into tears. Watch Steve Hirsch, dressed like hehad just come froma day at the beach, give us all a sales pitch. Watch Bob Tremont moan about the lack of foresight of the dealers when the Private line first came out. Watch Joey Silvera look like the town retard... Watch John Leslie give an unintended imitation of a mafia don. Watch Gene Ross look like he had to be helped on - the result of too much sun... The closest to a professional person in the movie business was Russ Hampshire who gave a measured "thank you" and looked and sounded like a mature businessman."

Pat Riley reviews my one attempt to make a porno - What Women Want (Sunshine Films) starring Kimberly Kummings, Dick Dundee [Luke F-rd], Warren Scott, Dick Nasty, Rick Masters, Tommy Gunn and Dave Hardman:

"If you remember back to those mid-eighties Bobby Hollander movies where he would sit around and talk tot he cast about, oh, nothing much in particular and they would go through the motions of screwing, those movies were similar to what you have here. Dick, who seems be some sort of talk show host, tells us this is about what women want in terms of men and sex and to explore further sits down with Kimberly and discusses how to lick a woman's pussy, what she feels about anal sex, how to do a BJ, ad infinitum. In the midst of all this the other guys in the cast turn up and gang bang Kimbelry including a DP ending in facials. They don't waste a foot of videotape so you get the guys horsing around, Warren with a limp dick, Kimberly complaining about the guys hitting her on the face with their dicks...lots of things that should have been relegated to outtakes. The interviews continue after the gang bang with the guys included and Kimberly obviously wanting to leave but Dick [Luke], who's struggling to find questions, keeps on and on and on. It's not repulsive, just not worth watching. Date of production: 1/21/96."

Pete Ramezap writes on RAME: "E.T. had a short segment on porn industry today [1/3]. Three actresses were interviewed, Alishia Klass, Lexus, and Brittany Andrews.

"The point of the segment being that adult movies are a multi billion industry in USA today.

"The interviews were short but the Alishia's one was interesting. She said that she loves what she does and she has got roles in main stream movies, but still will continue making porn. E.T. reported that Alishia has landed a role in an upcoming movie called "Cruel Intentions" and has been featured in some TV commercials. She also has got some minor roles in Beverly Hill 90210 and Melrose Place. Alishia also mentioned that her mother is not too thrilled about her porn career and she has a bachelors degree in design. BTW, she looked great in her interview.

"Lexus said that she's hoping to make it in the main stream movies as well.

"Brittany Andrews is apparently running her own company now and said a few words about the business.

"Overall, not a negative comment about porn industry and E.T. also quoted Time Magazine as reporting that adult movies make a big portion of the local video stores' profit these days."

Deep Throat says that the release of the Clemenza papers, which will supposedly end the career of AVN publisher Paul Fishbein, has been pushed back to January 31st thanks to the effective hacking of my web site.

A real porn journalist, Darklady, replies: "Gee, ain't that a f---ing tragedy? Since a good deal of my monthly freelance income comes from Paul I have to admit I'm not in a big hurry to see him take the fall. Of course, if said fall relies entirely upon the maintenance of your web site, I feel pretty secure. Is there a menotaur wandering the halls of that labyrinthine structure? Or at least a good hunk of cheese at the end?

Geez, Luke. Get a life and a real job and let those of us who have both get on with them without needing to swat at the buzzing insects.

"I feel that too many people focus on the concept of "freedom" of speech without giving any thought to the *responsibility* of free speech. What is the point of listing the legal names of porn stars? To impress people with super sleuthing skills? Cure cancer if that's your goal. Most mainstream performers don't use their real names, either. Does it make someone a f---ing rocket scientist to find out what their real names are and then post them somewhere? I'd sure be all about f---ing impressed by that. My personal opinion is that people have a right to a private life and unless
that life affects the article or topic I'm researching then there's no need for the information to get spread around. I think that part of the "fun" of naming names is unique to the Internet where so many of us use a "handle." It's a long standing (and very boring) BBS holdover to post real names and addresses and blahblahblah in an attempt to discredit and frighten those we consider to be somehow deserving of a punishment. I'm just sorry that Luke and apparently you have so little going on in your lives that defending and obsessing on this topic actually *means* something to you."

Wrestler Sam Panico: "Porn is just like pro wrestling. On most "mark" internet sites, most of the fun is in finding out guys real names. Don't ask me why. Most times at a show, I won't even answer to my real name and when a fan does find it out, usually I feel invaded. My name is my business...it's kind of like in old magic where knowing someone's name or true name gives you power over them...much like some believe God's real name is a powerful thing to know. Real names are very important in the busines I am in. Wrestling doesn't even carry as much stigma as being in the porn industry, so I can see the need for privacy. Most people who get into wrestling move beyond finding out real names...hopefully, this can happen everywhere.

"BTW-I think Rob Black and ECW are a good fit, as many of their ring grrlz have done stripping, masturbation porn and nude shoots for Cheri."

John Grey from Vivid Quest and Stacy from Adult Stars Magazine plan a news conference at CES Thursday to announce a big consumer magazine publishing deal. They supposedly have financial supporters with deep pockets.

"Bryan Lambert" from Center Stage Productions in Charlotte, North Carolina writes:

Center Stage Productions "CSP" puts out the best Amateur lines in the country BAR NONE yet your web site and AVN will not recognize the truth in the matter ......seems as though Rob Black may have been right. WHO's IN BED WITH WHO ? [Mike South: "CSP do decent work to some degree but they are FAR from the best. I have reviewed all their titles and can say straight up that most lack heat, intensity and seriously lack originality."]

AVN Awards

I think the BULL s--- should stop and the AVN Awards Show should be renamed "The Advertisers Awards" Lets look at the facts...... In 1997 CSP knew s--- from a shingle about the adult video industry yet we put out 4 videos ( All those Naughty Neighbors 1,2,3,4). We met with and advertised with AVN that year. That year we were nominated for two AVN Awards ( Best New Series and Best Amateur Video.) In 1998 CSP put out Twelve videos, Shot a feature for Adam & Eve, Increased it production value 50000% by purchasing $80,000 worth of state-of-the-art Sony digital cameras and editing equipment.

Had reviews that read like "...All Those Naughty Neighbors- one of the best looking, freshest and hottest grassroots amateur lines in existence..." Adam Film World "...This is a solid amateur series, and could easily fill out your amateur section..." Ken Wood AVN "...This was one of the freshest and most welcome entries into amateur porn..." Adam Film World. All those Naughty Neighbors Vol. 9 show as the # 1 video for September on Video X-Citements Web Page. Bryan Lambert shows up ranked 14th in the directors ranking well above some of the directors who have been in the Biz for years. Won best scene on the Playboy Channel. In 1998 CSP DID NOT advertise with AVN and Received ZERO Nominations. Hummm Lets do the math.....

[Mike South: None of these things really mean much, tell Bryan to find a BAD review in AFW. Video Xcitement is in shambles under new ownership. Had the wives and I reviewed his flicks I can assure you he would have gotten a VERY DIFFERENT review."]

Top 60

The Top 60 Rentals and Sales listing should be Renamed as "ADVERTISERS INDEX" and save the cost of printing the index page.

[Mike South: In 1995 Mike South did NO advertising in AVN and Got a nomination. In 1996 Mike South did NO advertising in AVN and got 3 nominations. In 1997 Mike South did NO advertising in AVN and got 3 nominations and won one. In 1998 Mike South did NO advertising in AVN and got 2 nominations and won one. In 1999 Mike South did NO advertising in AVN and got a nomination. Tell Bryan to shut the f--- up and make better product, I am tired of listening to these assholes crying about this s---, if he is making money what the f--- does he even care."]

CSP Director Bryan Lambert

Bryan Lambert is the one of the best directors this industries seen in years... he had never owned video camera until May of 1997... yet he's already shot one feature for Adam & Eve (Southern Blow Jobs Belles) and is in negations for another eight. Lambert studies and learns. Do we here about him in AVN or you web site ? What the f--- Luke.

[Mike South: a dubious honor...Playboy's amateur home video? You seen that crap? Lambert obviously studies Mike South and learns that ripping off his title is a sure way to get sales that he otherwise would NEVER have gotten. I saw SBB and frankly I have done better on my worst days.]

DUES

CSP has paid their dues in full, we been f---ed and f---ed around by the best this industry has to offer and were still here. What the f--- Luke.

[Mike South: "Join the club Bryan. Dues in this biz are never ending."]

OUR FRIEND ED

Dear ED [Bryan won't identify which Ed he's talking about.] I remember the day we met like it was yesterday. I remember the way your eyes bugged from ugly skull and the hair stood from the back of you scrawny freckled neck. I remember the questions you ask about our duplicator, graphic design and our box manufacture. Later I remember my pager going off and the duplicator and box manufacture telling me that they could not do my work because you had threaten to take your business else where and not pay them. I remember you put us out of business for approximately 35 minutes. Guess what ED..... You saved me a ton of money in duplication and boxes. Thanks Dumb Ass.

Lambert, the owner of CSP, entered porn in 1997. "It was a joke. I was sitting a strip show one night with a buddy of mine and said, 'We ought to shoot a porn.' He said, 'cool.' And we did it. We hired the two best law firms in the state, costing about $72,000 total, to figure out the law. Both of us were businessmen, we didn't have a clue about the porn business. It's not like being in Los Angeles where you know what you need to do. We researched the laws and found out what kind of IDs and releases we needed..."

Mike South: "I coulda told em that for a LOT less...hell ya'll got f---ed by your lawyers, who probably told you that you were walking a fine line by ripping off my trademarked title. Tell you what Byro.....I'll consult on your next product....for the same 72K you paid the lawyers who ripped you off. I'll show ya how to make good porn that will WIN awards."

Lambert: "Mike South, The truth about the matter is I've never seen one of your videos so I can't make a comment one way or the other however I do appreciate you following my lines so closely. CSP must interest you a great deal if you view every title and you take the time away from your busy production schedule to remark on so passionately on a venting secession I wrote in my underwear and e-mailed to Luke F-rd. Mike..... I'm not Gay, so stop thinking that way..... I would like to meet you and pick your brain over dinner and drinks or in a darken room with a small dental instrument.... your choice. Mike, telling me to "shut the f--- up" is not a very nice thing to say to the man that will someday sign your pay check... I think that's a poor career move.. Furthermore a wise man once told me that the use of profanity is a sure sign of ignorance.. You should really invest in a good dictionary and try to increase your vocabulary.

Lets you and I take a moment and talk about the movie Southern Blow Job Belles or at least the title..... fortunately I can report that the title selection wasn't my idea, as a matter of fact I think its a terrible title.

If you remove Blow and Job it remains a terrible title. A rose buy any other name is still rose. As far as associating anything CSP has done or will ever do with you.... get a grip! From what I've been told my numbers are as high or higher than yours... so don't flatter yourself... Its not becoming. Now..... You and I can sit at our desk and waist our time writing back and forth in a little pissing match like two uneducated saps or we can get together at CES and figure out how we can make some money together... YOUR CHOICE."

Lambert: "I was forewarned (by Rob Black, Van Damage) that you [Luke] were bad about quoting people."

Luke: "Bad? I quote every word."

Bryan: "Yeah, Black told me, 'the f---er will quote you word for f---ing word.' You've got to watch what you say when you have idiots running around with a $2 attorney.

"In the beginning, we advertised for girls. Now they find us. Extreme Associates and Van Damage were out here a month ago..."

CSP distributes its own product, selling largely to bigger boys like GVA and IVD.

"Porn is completely different from how I expected. I come from a business background where your word is your bond. In porn, it seems that 90% of people are talking out of both sides of their neck. Until this year, we had no friends in the industry. We're not in the clique. But we're building relationships, such as with Extreme and Adam & Eve. We don't want to be the biggest, we want to be the best.

"Our Naughty Neighbors is a true amateur line. We shoot everybody, 18-80 [years of age], blind, crippled or crazy. If they can't walk, we'll drag them."

Director James DiGiorgio: "Mike South's comments are right on the mark. Dues in this biz ARE never ending. People DO speak out of both sides of their mouths...just like they do in every other f---ing business I've been associated with. If he paid $72K to have some f---ing lawyer tell him what kind of releases and stuff he needs..and Mike South will do it for the same $72K, well, tell Bryan I'll be his consultant for half that. Oh, and by the way, $80K in cameras and editing equipment aint s---. I've got over $200K in equipment and I'm still moaning that I need this and that. the sony DSR200 cameras produce EXACTLY the same signal as the smaller and lesser priced VX1000....the difference is the size of the camera, how it handles audio, and tape (size) recording time and battery time...period. They sell for about $5,200 each.....so...take over $10K off that total equipment cost and you have a little less than $70K....which buys you a fairly decent system... maybe a Media100 or and AVID EXpress...you need to spend another $15K or so for an outfitted AVID Composer 1000 (which i just happen to have...and also have another AVID, and a DSR200 AND a Sony VX1000...and lights...and sound equipment...and third party software...and a whole bunch of other s---...and guess what...I still don't have enough to really do the job the way I want. Ok...I just spent the day shooting...I'm tired...I'm cranky...and this guy basically just annoyed me..."

Married with a kid, Lambert "keeps his dick out of the payroll."

Luke: "How does your wife feel about your new business?"

Bryan: "She drives a new car and lives in a new house. What's she going to say?

'Initially, I didn't tell anybody [about his new porn business]. Initially it was a joke. We were going to do one or two, recoup our expenses... But we spent so much money on legal, equipment, that we had to dive into it. I sat my family down and told them and everybody was find with it.

"I was raised going to church and I still go to church. No, my pastor does not know about my new business.

"We've got the best equipment - DSR 200s, the big digital cameras. All digital editing equipment. We had to do that out of sheer necessity because you couldn't get anybody in the southeast to edit your stuff. We're putting out a helluva product and it is time to stand up and make people take notice.

"I've been affected positively [from working in porn]. It's made me more accepting of other people. Years ago, things were black and white... There are things that I don't agree with but it's not my deal. I take a live and let live attitude."

Born (1965) and raised in North Carolina, Lambert stands 6' and weighs 185 pounds.

Heaven Leigh writes: "I have watched all the stuff about Rob Black on here and on RAME and all the bad things he does.Well he is doing what the "FANS" want. Have we got so full of are selves that we are forgetting who pays are bills the "FANS"!!! Rob is doing what Rob should do make f--- movies not this HBO s---. All the guys at Extreme Associates are doing what they need to do to make money and keep the "FANS" happy. Without "FANS" no porn and we all can go and get 9-5 jobs and make nothing at all. I have sat down with Rob and he is one of the nicer guys in porn. He may come off as a bad ass but he has always treated me with great respect. He did not have to do that but he did and that tells me what kind of a man he is, a man who wants to make a name for himself and there is no one in this business that has not done what he is doing right now. If I would not of listened to every one else and just went to him in the beginning I would of maybe had a contract with them. The problem is not Rob, its that he is making allot of noise in the business, if he was with another company and doing the same stuff no one would say a word, but since its a new company and they are doing so great they have to run him and the others from Extreme Associates down. I have worked for Van and Keith and its one of the better sets I have been on and oh Jessica's movie was the best set by far, I had so much fun on that set and to be around her. I have been friends with Lizzy for along time and I know her and if Rob was such a bad guy she would not be with him. So lets all put this to rest if you all was so worried about Rob there must be a reason for that, maybe your sells are down and his is up hmmmmm..........And last AVN over looked Rob because Rob and all the others at Extreme will not back down and kiss the feet of some of the more up tight assholes in this business, Extreme is going to push the limit and that my friends is the way it should be. Rob Black and all the guys at Extreme and ladies are here to stay like it or not and if no one wants to give them the credit they deserve then they can laugh at all of us all the way to the bank!!!!!!(Oh Rob this is a suck up for the movie at least I can admit it)."
