I hear that male performer JD Ram was found dead yesterday

JD (David) had been having problems with his stomach, says Ram's girlfriend Jolene who lived with him. Jolene has a civilian job and does not work in porn. She says she is not telling anyone what happened until she hears from the coroner. Jolene was with him when he died.

I called Bill Margold. He said, "I'm not talking to you," and hung up.

"She also has had a lifelong fascination with astrology, and the fringe occult, things like tarot cards (she carries them at all times) and actually seems to have some degree of clairvoyance...just after I met her, she told me several things about myself that were BANG ON, and there was no way she could have known.

"One of the nicest persons I have ever met in the industry. Her real name is Amanda Gantt.

"Lee Carroll was at one time a few years ago roomates with kitten natividad.... They'd go out together and bring themselves home some lucky guy who would get his brains f---ed and sucked for hours before they turned him loose.

"She now lives in Virginia, having moved there to escape creditors after she rolled up about $30,000 in credit card debt."

Luke's Conversation with God.

By Fred Buccolini

I spent the latter part of Yom Kippur in bed, depressed, thinking of my fate. I felt tremendous sorrow for the pain I have caused many of the people I write about on this site. I look across the room to a stack of AVN magazines; I begin to count them and give up after 400. I ponder buying a full page ad in AVN--it will definitely be a picture of me giving the finger with the inscription: To the editors of AVN, thinking of you.

I flip through some computer magazine; I glance at an ad for SpellCheck software. Too expensive.

I check my mail. Somebody sent me another copy of the Associated Press Style manual. There is a note: "Save yourself legal cost: begin using the word alleged." I smile, and toss the book to the floor. I'll read it later.

Suddenly, there is a slight earthquake; and I lose all the electricity in my apartment.

There is a knock on the door. A voice: "Open up!"

"Who's there?" I ask.

"This is God."

"What do you want?" I ask.

"I'm looking for Viper."

"Is that you Bill?"

"No, this is God. Now open the door or I'll walk through it."

"Why are you looking for Viper?"

"I'm an incredible fan. Open up."

"Ok. If you're really God, then tell me what Viper is famous for?"

"Oh...she's got this nutty snake tattoo on her body."

"Ok. Has she ever been in a Ed Power's video?"

"Yes. More Dirty Debutantes #3. Ed looks like Howard Stern during his college years."

"Right! But let me ask you this: If you really are God, then why can't you find Viper on your own?"

"Because I'm really Rob Spallone."

I cackle and open the door. I am blinded by a bright light.

A gust of wind throws me across the room, back on top of my bed.

I cry out: "Hey! What's the big idea?"

"I fooled you Luke. I'm not really Rob Spallone."

"So I gathered."

"I've come not to find Viper, but to give you some advice."

"OK. Shoot."

"I'd like you to get rid of these videotapes. I'd like you to throw out all of these dirty magazines. I'd like you run the vacuum."

"Geez, you sound like my mom."

"Well Luke, maybe if you would have listened to your mom, you wouldn't be in this mess."

"What mess?"

"What mess? The entire industry hates you. You've betrayed the trust of the talent. You've betrayed the trust of the movers and shakers. Have you no shame, Luke F-rd?"

"No."

"I didn't think so. Listen, try to do the right thing. Don't be so quick to post your new updates, maybe check the spelling. Make a few phone calls and verify the information. I mean, like, what's the rush? Is the world going to stop if you update your site a few hours later? I don't think so. Anyway, I gotta go."

"Where are you going?"

"I have to talk to President Clinton. I've got some dirt on Ken Starr."

"Oh. Ok, have fun. Thanks for not breaking anything."

HAMILTON, Ohio (Reuters) - An 800-pound former exotic dancer who appeared several times on the syndicated Jerry Springer Show has died of apparent heart failure at the age of 37, his family said Thursday.

Denny Welch had been bedridden in his Hamilton, Ohio, home in recent months because he could barely stand. His family said it hoped someone would donate an oversized coffin for his funeral.

Welch, who died Wednesday, was sentenced last May to home incarceration for allowing three boys, aged 11 to 13, to watch pornographic videos in his home. The judge ordered him to have no contact with juveniles and to receive psychological counseling.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (Reuters) - Reputed Gambino crime family boss John ``Junior'' Gotti was freed on $10 million bail Thursday more than two weeks after a federal judge overruled prosecutors and ordered his release.

Luke believes that the implications for the porn industry are immense. Look for more Anal Asians ahead.

WARSAW, Sept 25 (Reuters) - The Polish sex industry opened its first legal trade fair on Friday, taking advantage of a new law clarifing the status of pornography in the largely Roman Catholic country.

International porn stars mingled with businessmen selling erotic confectionary at the Eroticon '98 show, which attracted large crowds of both men and women on its opening day.

But Ender said the moves were unlikely to hit the sales of hard-core porn magazines, thought to run to between 300,000 to 400,000 a month in Poland, a country of 39 million people.

Spectators at the Warsaw show will be treated to erotic dancing, mock sado-masochistic performances and naked beauty contests for both sexes. They can also browse around stalls offering sex aids, films and books.

Photographer Vivienne Maricevic: "If some of your readers are interested in seeing a selection of my photos, with brief interviews from my LEGENDS OF PORN (1982 - 1985) have them go to the site -- www.nervemag.com, click on uncensored photographs, find my name and see. I've been searching for a publisher for these 50+ photos and interviews of the women and men, who were porn stars during the 80's.

"I've also photographed in all the sex clubs in Times Square during the 80's, the infamous Show World, Pussycat, Bryant Theatre, 7-ll, Avon, which is always searching for a publisher, LIVE SEX SHOWS. It was great to read about Jack Archer, what a character he was. It was a heady time, during the 80's at all the sex clubs in Times Square and they are definitely a loss to NYC. 42nd St. just isn't the same, the character, the energy, the variety, the life are all gone."

Ridley from NY reports that the sex issue of Time Out New York has an interview with Lexus. Here's some highlights from the interview.

"I don't look like a porno girl," claims the 22 year old stunner Lexus. "I'm not much of a makeup person at all - just a kick back, casual, tennis shoes and T-shirt kind of chick." Maybe so, but she's probably the hottest girl in hard core pornography today. With 11 films under her belt ( no pun intended ) including the remake of Debbie does Dallas and the yet to be released Babylon Blue, the most expensive xxx video ever made. A contract with Playboy's cable network and a slew of magazine layouts to her credit. Lexus is the crown jewel in the ever expanding Vivid video empire.

What do you think of porno movies?

LEXUS: I don't even watch the s---.

When did you lose your virginity?

LEXUS: From 14 to 18,I had a boyfriend. I lost my virginity to him two weeks before my 17th birthday, on Valentines Day.

Wait, wait. You were with him at 14 and lost your virginity to him at 17.

LEXUS: Well, we had oral sex for two and a half years. He was extremely huge, and I was scared. I wasn't ready, and he was understanding. I really don't like huge. It's okay every once in a while, but I'm just kind of a small framed girl, so its uncomfortable.

When I got into the industry I had only been with one guy-that boyfriend. The second guy I ever slept with was on camera.

Q: How did you get into the industry

LEXUS: After I left college and went to California, I was working out at a gym.I needed a job, extra money, so I was looking through a newspaper, and I saw this ad that sais "dancers needed." So I called. I went to meet this guy, mid forties, Hispanic, eyes bulging out of his head from heroin. He talked me into dancing in this nasty little bar in Santa Paula, I needed the money. I had to pound like 5 margaritas to even get on the stage. I was so nervous, I almost started crying before the music even started. And it was all Mexican men, like "Ay-yi-yi! come on baby!" whistling at me. It wa disgusting,I couldn't even finish the song. I was so drunk, I fell down on my knees in front of everyone. I took my bra and slung it in some guys face and staggered off. I walked right out in my underwear, holding all the money. I made 120 dollars.

Q: So how did you get into videos

LEXUS:so the next day I was looking through the paper again. And I saw an ad; it said "figure models wanted" so iIcalled the guy, Jim South, who gave me the whole spiel over the phone. He wanted me to come in and take polaroids, fill out this questionare. So I go down there and walk in and theres nothing but naked chicks all over the wall, and I'm like, "holy s---, what have I done?" so I decide to sit down and listen to what this guy has to say. He says "We can set you up to do photo shoots, all nude. We also help people to do nude films." And that wasn't something I was interested in at the time, so I started going around to a few photographers, one of which was Suze Randall. She got my pictures approved for Penthouse centerfold. And then I did some movies later on. And when my boyfriend and I broke up about 6 months later, I signed with Vivid, because they had the rights to redo Debbie does Dallas and they thought I would be perfect for it.I was so nervous; I just about passed out the first few times I has sex on camera.

Q: Does Aids worry you

LEXUS: Most of the industry is now requiring DNA testing, instead of just the standard HIV test.

I've never done a movie without a condom. Of course the guys always whip them off before they shoot.

Q: What do you do if a guy is not exactly clean on a shoot.

LEXUS: I'd say, "get the hell away from me." Actually, once a girl had a yeast infection. I didn't go down on her.

Ridley: "That's the best part of the interview. There you have Lexus your typical man hating closet lesbian. Since she's trying to mainstream with this Playboy stuff don't expect to see her in too many more xxx-rated movies. No loss, I say. If you don't gangbang and you don't anal and you don't DP your just getting over on the suckers. If you ain't hardcore I ain't watching."

Ridley caught Kimberly Kupps stripping at the Flshdancers in New York. "A very tame show, thanks to the mayor...

"Kimberly's thinking about doing a 15 man gangbang with her fans in Florida. She says she wants to stay clear of LA because of the "major HIV scare going on there." She won't make another movie in LA till they guarentee all condom.

"She says that Ron Jeremy was practically stalking her, begging to work with her, finally she relented because he was so persistent. She said he would call her up at her hotel, visit her on sets, constantly begging to work with her.

"So finally they caught up with each other in Rob Blacks Gang Bang Angels 2. She said it was a gangbang with about 12 guys there but Ron was constantly at her, "everytime I turned around there he was,he either had his dick in my mouth or in me for the whole shoot. He wouldn't give anybody else a chance."

"But she said she liked working with him, that he was "fun". She said it was a long shoot, because Ron f---ed her right into a bowl of oatmeal and she had to get it out of her hair.

"I asked her about that movie and she was not happy with it, she hated the way it was edited and the constant relooping in it. I agreed with her.

"I asked her about Rob Black. She said she hated the producers, even though they treated her good they treated most of the girls terrible. She said Rob Black was constantly screaming at the guys on the set.

"Here is the anti-Lexus... A girl that likes to please men and have men please her, a sweetheart with a heart of gold and tits as big as f---in watermelons."

Eden Rae writes on RAME about VCA's practice of requiring those who work for it to join the Free Speech Coalition:

It is probably not legal, in a similar case in which an employer deducted united way contributions from employees pay checks without the employees consent, the employer lost a suit and was forced to pay restitution, court costs, interest, and a fine.

A $10 dollar weekly contribution had been deducted during the united way fund drive, unless the employee had specified another specific amount. Employees who had said they did not wish to contribute were docked anyway, in that case as well.

SO, if VCA is deducting dues, after a performer tells them not to, it is probably grounds for legal action. That is not in and of itself a problem for FSC.

HOWEVER, if said employer is forcing membership as a requirement for work, and FSC is encouraging it, and/or accepting these monies knowing that the contributions are in fact being deducted without the performers consent, it may be an issue. What sort of effect on their non profit status, I am not specifically sure, but I will be more than happy to dip into the labor laws and the non profit laws and get back to you.

Forced contributions are not looked on kindly, and for a non-profit to conspire to that end, might be considered some type of racketeering violation.
