Adrianna Sage Sighting

Chupatinha writes on RAME: So, I'm walking down the Promenade in Santa Monica tonight and stop to hear a pretty good Jimi Hendrix imitator playing on the street. I sit down on a bench and look up...into the unbelievably gorgeous eyes of Adriana Sage!!!! Then it dawns on me that she is sitting on the bench across from me having a very animated (in a friendly way with lots of hand gestures) conversation with...... Mr. Marcus.......who has his arm around her and is playing with her hair while she talks. The man has good taste!

I don't say anything but do notice on at least two occasions black guys giving him a thumbs up and he responds the same way (reminded me of fans seeing a star ball player and respecting his space while saying hi). Then the two got up and strolled down the promenade and I saw that Adriana is taller than Marcus and would STILL be without her heels. She is a GODDESS and he is a lucky man and I am so glad for them that they can stroll around amongst civilians without being hassled. What a country!

Jeanna Fine In Queens

Nyphil writes on BigDoggie.net: I saw Jeanna Fine dancing tonight at Wiggles on Queens Blvd. in Rego Park, NY. She told me she's available for $1000 an hour or $600 for half an hour.

The Playmate and the Prodigy

Here's one of the juiciest excerpts from Ben Wallace's article on financial whizkid Mark Yagalla for the June issue of Philadelphia magazine:

In April 2000, the twins and Hefner appeared throughout the media, from The Daily Show to Late Night With Conan O'Brien.

Wallace writes: "Flanked by the twins in matching hot-pink cowboy hats, Hefner swaggeringly maintained the facade of a relationship, gushing about the power of Viagra. (The heterosexual icon, Sandy had told Yagalla, had trouble finding satisfaction through intercourse; instead, he liked the girls to pleasure each other while he masturbated and watched gay porn.)"

Hefner, who insists he enjoyed four-in-a-bed romps with Sandy, her twin sister Mandy, Jessica Paisley and Brande Roderick for two years, blasted the tale as "pure fantasy." He told PAGE SIX: "The notion that Sandy and I were not having sex is ridiculous. That's either Yagalla's fantasy or her telling him something that isn't true. We had normal sexual relations for two years.

"I realize my life is unique and some people think it's a publicity stunt," said Hefner, 75. "Well, it isn't. The relationship with Sandy, Mandy, Jessica and Brande was a normal one - except it involved five people. They were my girlfriends and I was sleeping with all of them." As for his pornographic preferences, Hefner assured us, "It certainly wasn't gay porn."

Alisha Klass Update

Zman writes: I don't know if you've seen the latest news on the extremely talented Alisha Klass. But if you go to fridgemagazine.com and check out the featured article on her, titled, "Alisha Klass: Taps her assets", you will certainly see how amazing she really is. You know, I think it's about time somebody gave her the justice she deserves. And now that her success has really just begun to skyrocket, who knows how far this girl will go. I mean, everything she touches turns to gold. We'll be hearing the name Alisha Klass for many years to come. You can count on that.

Luke Gets Mail

XXX writes: Last week someone wrote to you about Mark Carriere. What he didn't tell you about was Carriere's strongarm tactics used to get porn starlets to get boob jobs. He started the trend by signing girls to contracts which included getting a boob job (and sometimes other work). At first, it was easy enough to entice them simply by offering the stability of a contract. But, later he got tough when some resisted. He really resorted to true strongarm tactics to make these girls get implants. Threats and force eventually entered into it. He insisted on sending them to his surgeon. It was a guy in Utah. Everyone, no matter how gorgeous, had "flaws" that Carriere insisted they take care of. Everything I've run across indicates he had major kickback from this whole deal. If your source is any good, he'll be aware of at least some of this and could fill you in on details of Carriere's involvement with this. The list of girls Carriere sent off to his own personal surgeon is long.

YYY writes: Is this the same butcher/surgeon in Utah that Chloe Jones sued for malpractice and some other "add ons"? Didn't Chloe make claims that she had sex with the butcher in exchange for her faulty implants? I guess that you get what you pay for. Ouch.

Dianna writes: I decided to do a quick search on "Rabbi Suzy Gadol" to see if anyone else had reported using her "services." I learned a lot about the definition of "Gadol" (head of, or high, as in priest, or expert or even "big cheese") and of the reliability of this or that Gadol. I was not surprised to see that one of the hits came from a March 2000 edition of www.dennisprager.net, Luke's "other" website, in reference to Dr. "Suzy" Block and "Rabbi" Shmuley Boteach, who was a guest on her show. Life is capricious indeed.

Instead of dreaming about a gorgeous Australian journalist with sensitive hands who fondles my breasts for hours with tender abandon before our lovemaking (which is followed by a discussion of the role of organized crime in the pornography industry), I wake up at 5 a.m. to a dog barking outside my window -- my dog, who's barrelled through the screen door again. I discover a pee spot in the living room as I go for my morning coffee. When I go for a refill, I trip over my phone cord and go flying across the room -- fortunately with an empty cup rather than a full one. Fortunately the sunrise is glorious -- thank you, Celestial Being -- so there seems to be some purpose in my being up and outside this morning beyond chasing an errant Labrador Gadol of the Neighborhood.

Rumdar writes: Luke, Diamond bracelets, canary yellow diamond ring, $500,000 earrings, cars, boats planes, That Yagalla fellow must have had low self esteem to spend that kind of cake. Either that or the Playboy Bunny has some outrageous Pookie. I was out Thursday night on a wonderful date. Let's see. Two Subway Sandwiches (six inch tuna for her, twelve inch Italian for me) $8.89. Two tickets to Pearl Harbor (does anyone besides me believe Roosevelt knew the Nips were going to attack before hand)? $14.00 and a box of Junior Mints $1.50. Grand total $24.39... Somewhat steep for a weekday outing but well worth it.

Questions For Gloria Leonard

LT writes: Luke, since Gloria Leonard seems to have a history with everyone asking these questions about the FSC, perhaps I can make a query without getting a obnoxious reply. We'll see...

Gloria, I realize the FSC is more oriented to the producers than the performers, but what is the FSC's stance on issues that could prove serious to the adult industry. These being:

1. The escalating abuse on sets (the controversy over the "Rough Sex" videos).

2. Drug usage on sets or shooting performers who are obviously under the influence of narcotics. And...

3. The co-ercion some producers, directors and agents use to get actresses to perform certain activities or get cosmetic surgery.

I would appreciate you clarifying the FSC's stances on these issues as I truly believe these situations could create more prosecution and damage to the industry than just about any other issue. Thank you.

Brandy Alexandre writes: I can answer LT's question, I think. The Free Speech Coalition "Wipe Paper" used for lobbying efforts says:

"A common fallacy is that adult movies lead to rape. Indeed, it is likely that the opposite is true. As part of just one of the U.S. government's most thorough and in-depth investigations into pornography, a study was conducted of a broad sampling of felons in the U.S. penal system, which charted their exposure to sex education as well as sexually explicit materials. The results painted a picture that clearly refuted the pornography-rape connection."

Actually, that's not the part that answers the question, but I just noticed that much of their "we're harmless" stance lies within a report that they don't even cite. Does it even exist? I'm sure it would be at one of the many government web sites where they make such reports available. However, in the sectionn "Consent and Consenting Adults" is says:

"The content of every single adult tape on the shelves of every video store and adult store in the nation involves consenting adults. Roughly 90 percent of the material produced and distributed over the past 14 years contains mainstream sexual acts between consenting adults. The rest could be classified as specialty material (i.e. foot fetish, tickling fetish, bondage, spanking, etc.) which does not contain explicit sex, but which still involves consenting adults.

"Mainstream sex acts means intercourse, oral sex, anal sex, group sex, etc. Adult movies do not contain any depictions, let alone actual performances, of rape, sex with coercion, animals, urination, deification, violence, incest, or child pornography."

This only brings the reader to one conclusion: The Free Speech Coalition only believes porn to be "safe" when it meets certain standards. Therefore, anyone busted for making movies outside those parameters should not expect any support from the FSC, and therefore probably shouldn't bother joining. With regard to drug use, they say:

"Actors who are known to be drug abusers -- I.V. or otherwise -- and who refuses treatment are subsequently banned from performing. Often this information comes from other performers or producers who are as concerned about the health integrity of the adult entertainment industry as they are with creating entertaining products. Again, such self-policing measures often prove to be a reliable safety-net beneath the industry's other safety policies."

Now, we all know this to be complete and utter garbage. There has NEVER been an IV drug user who was banned from performing. Ever. While the FSC says only performers who refuse treatment are banned, there still has never been such a banning, as many of the well-known users have used consistently throughout their careers.

Federal Obscenity Busts Loom For Deviant Producers

I hear from a Congressional source that federal obscenity busts loom for producers of pornographic material that features vomiting, gagging and abuse. American Bukkake, peeing, defecation and any kind of physical or serious verbal abuse are likely targets for federal prosecution.

Seymore Butts and Jeff Steward at Legend were busted by local cops for obscenity over the past few months. These new busts will be for Interstate Transportation of Obscenity which is much more difficult and expensive to defend.

AVN Stands By Its Statistics

Last Friday, Forbes.com published a devastating criticism of AVN's statistics.

Almost a week later, AVN publisher Paul Fishbein responds:

CHATSWORTH, Calif. -- Adult Video News Publisher Paul Fishbein, responding to a recent news report that sharply questioned the validity of statistics the magazine publishes on the size of the porn industry, today issued a ringing endorsement of those numbers.

He said that Vidtrak, which tracks the number of video rentals - both adult and non-adult - in U.S. general interest retail stores, reported that $8.25 billion worth of tapes were rented last year. Adams Media Research, which tracks sales of videotapes in U.S. general interest retail stores, reported that $10.79 billion worth of tapes were sold in 2000, he said. Those two dollar amounts, widely quoted by the Video Software Dealers Association (VSDA), add up to total of $19.04 billion worth of videos that were rented or sold in U.S. general interest retail outlets in 2000.

VSDA, meanwhile, reported in past years, that sales and rentals of adult tapes accounted for 16% - or $3.05 billion - of that $19.04 billion figure, Fishbein said. But the $19.04 billion figure, according to the VSDA, does not include sales and rentals from adult retail stores - only general interest retail outlets that primarily carry non-adult titles or no adult titles at all.

XXX tells Luke: "If the AVN rebuttal story is true, how come Mikey Ramone didn't know any of those facts BEFORE the Forbes story came out?

"Do you know anything about the Video Software Dealers Association (VSDA), or how they made this 16% estimate? It might be 16% of the store that stock porn-- no more than half the total. Also Fishbein says he polls the stores, then he relies on this 16% etc to get his number. Which is it?"

New York Times writer Frank Rich still stands by his $10-$14 figure for the porn industry, despite Forbes.com's debunking analysis. Rich still cites the now discredited Forester Research and "his own findings." Meanwhile, a source at Hustler agrees with the Forbes story.

PornoPatrick writes: Luke speaking from my experience of 18 years in the video supply business and watching the decline of the V.S.D.A and the numbers of the mom and pop video stores there is not even a slim chance the numbers based on percentages is not even close. For instance the V.S.D.A claims there are 50,000 Video Stores when I know for a fact that Video Store Trade Magazine mailing list is only 18,000 plus or minus. Out of those 18,000 stores, we have large Video Chains, Blockbuster, Movie Gallery, and others that do not even carry adult product. Adult on the average is 4th or 5Th in the categories behind, Action,Comedy,Drama,Horror,Children then Adult. Ask any Video Store owner' Fishbein's formula is based on final end retail value. Fishbein's theory is at the least 15% accurate. That other 85% is waste.

He Stands By His Numbers

Bryan E. Sullivan writes: "I stand by my [AVN's] bombastic numbers," he quipped. Well, I guess he's also willing to die by 'em, too. I'm not an accountant or anything close to, but, I do know numbers. $20 billion dollars gross[ed], that's possible! That's also where AVN is false teaching the public, and it's 2-readers. Since when did individual adult retailers start handing over their books to AVN for analysis? And who's to say that their books are accurate? Anybody with a blue ballpoint can manipulate the books to make the pages look legit.

I saw Italians do it all the time - especially with cash businesses - strip clubs, peep booths, and liquor stores. I've been a patron of these kind of businesses since 13-years old, so I know of every trick in the deck. AVN's figures are only as good as the people who supply them - Porn people: crooks, hoes, horndogs, hustlers, junkies, liars, pervs, pimps, and sleazebags. MY KIND OF PEOPLE!

Uh, Paul, next time you do the annual porn tally - you may want to consider not adding the video rental division or the cable sales of in-home adult videos. You see my learned friend, the porn industry gets no kick-back, or royalties from in-home rentals, retail rentals or peep-booth slots. Retailers purchase videos from the distributor, and if they want to - can play it in a booth for 90-seconds a quarter - and can possibly make thousands of dollars off a $20 dollar video. How can your mag accurately track that income? I don't know how the in-home cable sales work, but I do know that they have to pay franchise fees.

TheEroticReview.com

Peter writes: I've noticed a recent influx of requests for escorting information for various girls, and thought that I might be able to help. Although I am not affiliated (I AM a customer, though), you can easily recomment the website http://www.theeroticreview.com for people seeking such information. The site is designed for people seeking paid companionship, shall we say... A person doesn't need to join to get information, unless they want specific details. They can either search on a porn star's name or ask on one of the discussion boards which usually yields contact information within hours. This method is especially useful for "stars of the past" that might have lost contact and are now escorting.

Brandy Alexandre Annoyed With Eyada.com

BrandyAlx1: I didn't get on the Chance Hayden show this morning because their first guest was late, etc., and I didn't have the time to do it later. Anyway, I went to the archive to find out who the tardy guest was, and found out that *yesterday* Bianca Trump was on, and his opinion of her was that she was a great big bore, and other choice comments.
BrandyAlx1: Listening to the rest of the archive, Chance took Bianca to lunch afterward, like he does all his guests, and all she talked about was Brandy Alexandre. She's apparently still obsessed. You might like to listen to her interview yesterday and the start of the show this morning. Both are in the archive. I'm VERY annoyed that they had planned some kind of ambush. It's pretty much cuaranteed I won't be doing anything with eYada in the future.

Internet Gossip

President Richard Cohen writes:

Dear Pink4Free Webmasters: As you are probably aware, National A-1 took over Pink4Free at the beginning of this year. National A-1 is one of the largest providers of audiotext services (phone sex, virtual chat). Currently, we have several major websites operating and we plan to roll out others by the third quarter of this year. Girls.com, Teens.com, Spanking.com, Singles.com are in operation and will be accepting affiliates very soon.

The climate of the Internet is changing because: 1) the member retention rate is going down; 2) people are not joining sites like they used to; 3) too many people are using the free trial and canceling before joining; 4) People are using the Pink4Free site, but are not responding to our mailings; 5) our payments from major affiliate programs have been cut dramatically, some without notice; and 6) some of the largest companies are now paying us on a percentage basis instead of per initial sign-up.

Over the next year, we believe that you will see many smaller companies going out of business, the length of free trials declining or being eliminated and the payouts from major affiliate programs dropping. We depend on our income from the Pink4Free.com daily newsletter to cover the cost of our Webmaster payouts. Unfortunately, we are losing a substantial amount of money. This month, a few major affiliate programs cut our payment rate without notice. They count on member retention in order to pay $25 - $45 per sign up. Members are canceling after one month so they must lower the payout rate.

We regret that we will have to make the following immediate changes to the Pink4 Free program: Effective June 1, 2001, we will no longer be paying $1.00 to selected Webmasters. All payments will be $0.75 until further notice. In addition, as of June 1st, we will be taking deductions, which are cancellations by your members, within 15 days of joining Pink4Free.com. You will see this feature added when you login as of June 1st, 2001. Checks will always be sent on time regardless of our profit or losses with the Pink4Free program.

Mark Yagalla's Porno Connection

Atlanta pornographer Mike South says: "I know the guy. I've spent time with him. I'm in the process of compiling a Lexis Nexis search on him.

"Remember when we were in New York last summer shooting the Howard Stern whackpack video? Charley Frey came up with the great idea that we'd do a change of venue because he had this billionaire friend who was up at Foxwood for the weekend.

"The billionaire friend sent a limo for us. We shot a girl-girl scene in the back of the limo. We went up to Foxwood and Mark put us all up there for the night. Everything we did was on Charley's friend Mark Yagalla. I sat there and watched Mark drop about $60,000 playing blackjack in about 15 minutes. He was a little short blonde guy.

"The girl that was with me at Foxwood, Julie, said, 'That guy is almost a midget. Of course he has to pay girls to f--- him.'

Mike South writes Luke: "After going through all this and doing some studying now I know why Charlie Frey was all hot on going up to Foxwood to hang hang with this guy. Charlie had invited himself and his girl Cleopatra in on the Wackpack gangbang shoot and this trip to Foxwood came outta nowhere.

"Well obviously Charlie knew that Mark would spend big bucks on pussy so he had the idea of pimping out Cleopatra and Alexandra Quinn. Mark took a liking to Cleopatra but Cleo didn't share Marks lust and refused him....Now I know why Charlie was pissed the next day. Charlie saw chance to make a buck."

Here's another story on Mark Yagalla.

Here are some highlights from the March 27 New York Daily News article on Yagalla:

By ROBERT GEARTY and DAVE GOLDINER

A blond Playboy centerfold who cavorted along with her identical twin as Hugh Hefner's pleasure pals may be forced to return $6 million in gifts from her boyfriend, an accused Wall Street swindler.

In a bid to woo curvy model Sandra Bentley, 23-year-old hedge fund honcho Mark Yagalla bought her seven cars, a closetful of furs and a stunning array of glittering jewelry. But his $40 million fund collapsed last year, and investors are demanding that his 22-year-old pinup pal hand back the high-priced tokens of Yagalla's affection.

Manhattan Federal Court Judge Richard Casey this month barred Bentley who with sister Mandy frolicked regularly with the Viagra-fueled Hefner at his Playboy Mansion from selling any of the gifts. The model has returned fur coats, several luxury cars and one-of-a-kind gold jewelry while the judge sorts out legal arguments over the lucre.

Yagalla, a former whiz-kid money manager, faces fraud charges stemming from the collapse of the Ashbury Capital fund. He was flying high in July 1999, when he met Sandy Bentley on a date in Las Vegas and later took her to a Cher concert, according to court papers.

Yagalla was already a multimillionaire, with a Park Ave. office and a private helicopter. At the time, Bentley and her twin were sharing a wealth of attention from men who ogled them in the May issue of Playboy that year. Yagalla must have had a good time at the concert, he bought Bentley a $95,000 Mercedes the next day. Soon he was showering her with other high-priced gifts, though officially she was still part of Hef's harem.

During their 14-month relationship, Yagalla gave Bentley Rolex watches and Ferraris and paid for luxury trips around the world for her and her friends, court papers said. But last summer, federal investigators started probing reports of illicit losses at the hedge fund, including claims that Yagalla was diverting investors' money for his personal use.

"What about the jewelry and cars for Sandy?" asked a pal, who was wired and working undercover for the feds. "That's millions of dollars."

"Can I be up-front with you?" replied Yagalla. "I'm selling everything. I'm raising cash to pay people back."

The court case will focus on who really owns the roadsters and bangles - the Playmate or the investors who entrusted Yagalla with their nest eggs. Bentley's lawyer has said the model knew nothing about Yagalla's fiscal hijinks. But Yagalla told the informant that she was in on the shell game, court papers reveal.

Some of the $6 million in gifts that Playboy centerfold Sandy Bentley received from her money man boyfriend Mark Yagalla: Mercedes 500 SL, $95,223.48. Bought day after they met in Las Vegas.
Range Rover Mercedes 600 SL Bentley Azure, $293,500

Young Blondes In Japanese Clubs

Dudley Moore writes: See this ABC News story about out-migration of young blonde American girls to Japanese clubs--there are 10,000 such clubs in Tokyo alone according to the report. May I point out the following connections to pre-oedipal sex theory:

Out-migration in service of foreign/exotic males is part of the universal phenomenon of out-migration of females seen throughout the sex industry. Of special note is the total lack of paranoia or sense of danger on the part of these young women, and the parallel role of the father. The father should normally create a sense of self-regulation. However, it was precisely this normal paternal role was clearly missing in the events that unfolded:

This vanished girl's parents were divorced, and the interview of her father shows he was emotionally distant, and similarly lacking in any feelings of concern or any sense of danger over his daughter's choice of an overseas job working at men's clubs. This distance/absence/emotional nonengagement/abdication of the father to the mother is typical of all types of pre-oedipal sexual trauma.

The male customers found the sexual distance itself with these girls "titillating". In contrast, a normal father would have furthered psychosexual development through a later Oedipal crisis and separation/individuation, which clearly failed to occur in these girls. The whole purpose of the clubs, according to the report, is creating a "titillating sexual distance" from the girls as a sort of sexualized socializing or "foreplay."

The father said his daughter specifically chose this overseas sex club job as a way to "find her own identity", read, as part of a pre-oedipal separation/individuation crisis seen in all (out-migrating) pre-oedipal females.

I also theorize that the out-migration served the function of incest prohibition: the male customers were older males(father substitutes) who found sexual distance titillating, and found their sexual excitement trying to "corrupt" the young girls, according to the report. Similarly, out-migration serves the incest prohibition in adolescent female bonobos who out-migrate to avoid mating with unknown fathers, since paternity is unknown among any other primates.

The girls were employed and housed by a madame, who controlled the girls's sexual activities and totally regulated their lives(regulation is normally a father's role). This pattern of alpha female dominance is typical of bonobos, and creates a "secondary sisterhood" among them, as pointed out by Frans de Waal in his book, Bonobo: the Forgotten Ape. This pattern of sisterhood is also universally seen in the women of the sex industry.

Cheyenne Silver Gossip

Milton writes: Mr Ford; Here is a website where Cheyenne Silver does some mainstream work under the name Cara Ballou. I was watching tape of PassionCove and low and behold I saw Cheyenne Silver doing the PG rated version of what she does best. Is Cara Ballou her real name? Has she done any other non porn work? Somebody said she is addicted to drugs. Is she still under contract with Vivid cause I havent heard anything about her and Vivid doesnt talk much. Id love to know.

Greg writes: Yes she did an episode of Passion Cove almost two years ago.

Jeremy Overstreet writes: With regards to Cheyenne Silver doing "mainstream" work. I booked a job on the show "Passions Cove" a couple of years ago and went to the rehearsal and quickly learned that this was soft-core porn. Since I'm a legit actor I didn't return to film the show, using the "I'm sick" excuse, so I'm not sure how "mainstream" this show is. And another interesting note, the show I was to work on was with porn star "Raylene", which I didn't know at the time she was a porn star, I met her as the actress Gina ?, and she talked alot about her country music singing career, which wasn't surprising since she had a serious southern drawl, but then last year during one of my many porn reviews(ha-ha), I saw her all laid out with Asia Carrera.

Julie Walters writes: He got his girls wrong. That was Rayveness he was supposed to do the scene with. I believe she went by the name of Gina something or other for her signing "career".

"Passions Cove" was a Playboy produced series for cable distribution (Showtime?) along the lines of "Red Shoe Diaries." Mainstream or softcore porn is anybody's call.

Nice of Jeremy not to have the sack to cancel legitimately, and to have to pull that "I'm too sick to work" crap. That sounds far more like a porn star move than a mainstream move to me.

Duckweed writes: I saw Cheyenne Silver on Entertainment tonight with Haven and she looks like s---. Her hair was oily and she looked like she hadnt taken a bath in a week. What shocked me more was she sounds like a stoned Keano Reeves. A total dips---. What drugs is she addicted to, because it SHOWS. They tried to make her look so motivated and headstrong but it was like making Charles Manson into a Boy Scout leader.

Tabitha Stevens On Jay Leno Last Night

LAJake writes on BigDoggie.net: During Leno's Jaywalking segment, he talked to Tabitha Stevens on the street with a girlfriend of hers. Just thought that was kind of an unusual circumstance.

Brian Gross writes: Yes, Tabitha Stevens and Haven, both exclusive contract stars for Jill Kelly Productions, were on The Jay Leno Show. This was a repeat from earlier this year. They also ran a clip from the movie Beautiful, from Jill Kelly Productions.
