But it generally takes a long time for it to ! take down an otherwise healthy adult, and that's the truth. I have plethora of medical information to back up what I'm saying. Do you?
Gregory Bowman replies: I would love to see your data on the morbidity and mortality on Hep C. My information AS CITED was taken from UCLA School of Medicine, Symposium on Immunotherapy 2000, and Morbidity and Mortality Weekly April 2000. It certainly is a blood born virus but with anal sex there is tearing of the tissue. It has been associated with sexual transmission as well. The approximate 85% mortality of Hep C is of those patients showing active disease- or clincal symptioms with elevated serum antibodies. Yes there are cases of latent infection and the data is still inconclusive as to the modes of infection and mortality. I would love to see you scientific citations regarding it and appreciate your reply. However I must tell you that you misstate the facts that most people go years without being diagnosed; the data does not support that Hep C has had that long of a tracking surveilence so where are you getting your data? Hepatitis C monitoring has not been known for decades so you are clearly offbase there. Please share and I will be more than glad to discuss this more. I would ask that you refrain from the profanity in that it only makes your position lacking in credibility.
Earl Miller - Art Reflecting Life
Gregory Bowman writes: I feel it necessary to inform your readers when I meet someone who truly is a wonderful and inspirational person.
I had the opportunity to meet and watch Mr. Earl Miller, one of the most brilliant photographers and lead photographer for Penthouse Magazine.
I met Mr. Miller on a shoot for Penthouse when driving Cheyenne Silver to and from the studio. She informed me beforehand that Earl was very particular and demanded a closed set. I had heard various rumors about Mr. Miller from people in the business. Some comments were negative.
After meeting Earl I was taken aback by his overwhelming positive and friendly personality. He was gracious and I felt very at ease around him. Mr. Miller seemed to be a man who is truely concerned with making others feel comfortable. I have worked with many photographers in the past and I know that the best tend to have certain "quirks" and are usually very short and lack social grace.
Earl Miller was one of the kindest men, photographer or not, I have met in a long time. His friendly and positive attitude left me feeling like there are still good people in this world.
I can see why he is the best at what he does. His care and positive approach definately shows in his work. His images are heavenly and I am confident it is based on his warmth and concern. His artistic ability certainly is a reflection of his warmth and grace.
Anyone who works with Earl Miller should feel blessed and I would personally love to work under him; just to be apart of what brilliance really is. Elyse's Fundraiser Hell

Females have an inbuilt (genetic) desire to mate with older males and males who may or are good providers for them and their progeny. Even when the female is financially well-off she's still looking to mate with a male who's better off. Men marry down; women marry up.

She may well like him but why does she like him? I would contend that all (or the vast majority of) females are naturally attracted to powerful, wealthy (or potentially wealthy) males who tend to be older than they (the females). It's refuting Rogers contention that they're only putting out for older males because they lack financial independence. In his view, they hold their noses and open their thighs for Mick Jagger but if they were financially independent they'd be screwing the penniless but handsome young guy.

The majority (like 99.999% and the rest are lying
The lack of dependence of females upon males coupled with the grass is always greener nonsense promulgated by the media shows up in many areas which result in untold misery for persons caught in the middle. Just take a small example. Because of the ease of obtaining a divorce (females able to support themselves and to extract child support from the males) we have shocking levels of divorce rates leading to single parent households leading to lack of a father for lots of children.
Even Gemini's talk show experts will tell you that this is not good for the children--in fact it's horrible for the children--resulting in poorly adapted youngsters who grow into poorly civilized adults. This is true even in comparison to children in families where the parents admittedly don't get along and even in cases where domestic violence occurs. IOW it's always better for the children to have two parents who live together as a couple. You'll also find that there's been a huge rise in FEMALE instigated divorce, not for some adultery or similar reason but simply because the female thinks she can get on better without the male. That's SHE can get on better, not that the kids will be better off nor that BOTH she and the male will be better off.
Remove the ability of the female to walk away by removing her self-support and you'll remove this problem.
Teenage unwed mothers present another variant. Under the previous welfare system the state was effectively the father in so far as money was concerned. IOW the female could support herself thanks to the welfare system. Now that that crutch has been removed (to some extent) the teenage mother rate has plummeted. Because the low skill and probably intelligence level of the group, they can't find a sufficiently well paying job so they have to find a male, not only to impregnate them, but also to support them. (This is an example of a move, you would probably say, backwards, but I would contend that it's in the right direction.)
In the other post, I dealt with the question of the low class male who can't currently find a mate. Does he not have any rights? Or is he just one of your "lugs"? Of course lots of the females who would be the natural mates of these guys find themselves at 40 getting a cat and wondering what went wrong so even for them, the system doesn't work well. IOW both genders have lost here, due to your "giving it away".
As to me personally, and probably you personally, and taking to account that there's no alternate universe in which to test this, my guess is that most male's incomes would be considerably higher but for the presence of the females (large numbers thereof) in the work force.
Of course much of the problem arises because the system is bastardized to pretend equality where none exists. Even though lots of jobs don't require the male's high upper body strength, there still exist many that do and in those we try to pretend otherwise. Garbage collector, fireman, cop, etc all fall into this category. For cops it's even worse. Pity the poor male cop who not only has to do his own job but has to protect his (often) female partner.
In factories where the pin-up on the wall used to be de rigueur, now they have to be removed so that we don't offend the female's sensibility. Equality demands that they conform to the job just the same as any new worker in the past, but no. Let's pretend. On the opposite side, who do you think gets noticed: the cute new worker with the tight sweater and the big boobs, or the pimply new male? Somehow we've worked into a situation where the female is allowed to use her sexual attributes to get ahead but the male, previously protected from such unfair competition, is up the proverbial creek.
Let's try the military. Personally I want a military that's like a savage dog we keep half-starved and chained up in the backyard. When we decide someone needs dealing with (say Saddam), we take off the chain, point him in the right direction and say "Sic him". Think that's likely with a female military? Or a feminized military? This seems to be your problem in the way you view males or perhaps it's some prior experience that has warped your sense in this regard? In my view it's quite the opposite: it's the female who treats the male as s---. Just take the trivial example of dating. Haven't you ever been on a date where the girl is happy to suck up your money but when the time comes for a little nookie (or even settling for some touching/kissing/petting) she suddenly discovers a necessity to be home or announces a heretofore undisclosed b/f who just happens to be out of town but on whom she's not going to cheat. Every woman is entitled to decide not to go out with you but if she does there's a certain assumption: she's at least slightly interested in some sexual contact. Maybe not going all the way, or maybe not going anywhere if the date turns out really badly, but failing those things, you expect something. And before you (or Ms Mullatto) jumps on the "This is akin to prostitution" idea, this sort of thing involves you in the waste of lots of time too. To my mind that's the female treating the male like s---.
I would also contend that the male has been so beaten down by dating codes, date rape (thank god I don't have to go through this personally), and strident feminist types that Mr. Average wouldn't dare to treat the girl like s---.
Misogyny, eh? How about chauvinist? Ya' know eventually these words are defined down so many times that they lose all meaning. It seems it's "hatred of females" (misogyny) to want to ensure that they take their biological place in life, or to object to the balance of power being placed in their hands instead of remaining with the males, or basically to disagree with whatever the current PC notion of equality is as far as women are concerned.
