Sana Fey Lawsuit

Jenna Jameson Replies

Jenna Jameson from ClubJenna.com writes: Yes, I think Brianna is incredible... I give props where props are due, plus, she's one of my good friends. She is starring in my second movie due for release... Brianna Loves Jenna. Just to address the plastic surgery issue, all I've had done are my breasts and my chin. If every one knew how much plastic surgery EVERYONE in this industry has had, they would be VERY surprised. But, I choosed to be honest about my surgeries. I want everyone to know, I am not in competition with these girls mentioned, I want to see them succeed. There is room for everyone.

Britt Morgan Replies

LUKE WRITES [actually, Fred wrote these to LF]: A few questions: a) Has Britt Morgan aged well over the years? b) I assume her ex-husband knew about her porn past, eh? c) Is she trying to melt back into civilian life, or capitalize off of her porn past?

LUKE ANSWERS (himself - because no one else will talk to him): A. You can decide for yourself. Check out BrittMorgan.com. She looks ok. B. I am sure he did. C. She's trying to capitalize off her porn past.

BRANDY ALEXANDER WRITES:

BrandyAlx1: I was just looking at the Britt Morgan photos. I thought from the way the comments were worded that these would be new pictures, but they're all at least 8 years old
BrandyAlx1: She and Jace Rocker always held that she never had a boob job, but it's so apparent that she not only did, but it's a bad one.

BRITT MORGAN ANSWERS:

Let's C silly babies - a) who cares? b) who cares? (and besides, WHICH ex-husband pray tell....my past ones or the next one I'm looking for - haha) and c) who cares? MELT back into civilian life - I am a civilian - grocery stores, mall, prop houses, home - no problem - go figure......e-gad, you goombas make me laugh.......(and besides, doesn't 'capitalize' mean in some kind of 'monetary' form? It's a f---ing FREE site.....not even any ADVERTISING - you know, like all the obnoxious eye-candy floating around yours, Luke)

And as for miss Brandy Alexander - haven't you found a life YET? How 'bout lunch sometime and you can cry directly to my face about how pathetic you are...... my treat - luv ya' baby.

Hey Luke, how 'bout Miss Alexander and I each send in recent photos of our respective breasts, and we'll let your avid and faithful and unbiased followers decide for themselves: "boob-job" or "not" or "in need of one"........ Let the games begin......

Brandy Alexandre writes: Here are mine.

BrandyAlx1: For Britt Morgan to suggest that my reading and responding to articles on l-keford.com indicates I have no life, then she is saying that no one who reads l-keford.com has a life. Everyone should be insulted.

Asia Carrera's Bandwidth

Asia Carrera writes: My bandwidth runs roughly 250 GB a month. The very first version of my site was tossed off AOL for content reasons (natch), and then I went to Earthlink, but after 3 months they sent me a bill for $25,000 so I yanked my site off there! After that, I went through a couple different smaller servers who were kind enough to offer free space for my site, but my bandwidth-hogging site either slowed them down to a crawl or crashed them entirely. I was just about to give up, when Cliffie (http://www.erotic.com) came to the rescue. Cliffie was one of the 'big boys' of the net, and he offered me space on his servers, (a) because he's a real sweetheart, and (b) he didn't want to see a good free site like mine go under. I didn't even have to pay for bandwidth until I decided to start a paysection, at which point I was more than happy to pay my keep. Unfortunately, I don't think Cliffie's looking to take on any more sites right now, but someone like Heather shouldn't have too much problem making a public appeal for help like I did - it seems there's always someone out there willing to help cute damsels in distress! :)

Genuinely Disturbing Porn Documentary

Ash writes: "Hardcore" shown last night on Channe 4 in the U.K. has to be the most disturbing documentary on pornography I have ever seen. Looking on Channel 4's own website I am clearly not alone, one viewer likening it to slaughterhouse footage and another claiming to still be shaking with anger. I share these feelings. I like porn but I think this documentary requires me to re-think my position more closely.

The film followed an english woman from Essex called Felicity as she travelled to the U.S. to appear in adult films. Her manager stated that she needed to be "challenged" and had booked her to appear in a Max Hardcore film. Initially she was told that she would have to be interviewed for the part. It is hard to explain how bizarre this scene was, after speaking to her for only a few seconds Max asks her to undress, suddenly while still talking to her, he evidently penetrates her. She is clearly very surprised, he asks her how she's feeling and she replies that she is frightened. He continues talking to her inane questions about her weight etc as though they were just having a friendly conversation. The conversation drifts into a monologue as he begins rambling to himself. After a few more minutes of thrusting, he again asks her again what she thinks of him and she is clearly in a state of shock. The directory of the documentary, on the commentary then states that he feels he should have stepped in and done something.

Rape? I don't know. I have seen Max Hardcore fims and enjoyed them, to rationalise this I imagined that the events were staged, the actresses well-paid and fully agreeable. How naive. Later we see Max working on his film with Felicity, suddenly she breaks off and runs away crying, claiming that Max was choking her. Max follows and in another very difficult scene, alternately tells her how "special" she is and threatens her with having to pay for the entire day's filming costs.

After Max becomes very angry, she agrees to continue filming, however the documentary director steps in this time and insists that she leaves, which she does. It would be hard to explain quite how angry it makes one feel to see another human being in obvious distress being manipulated and abused by this demented man.

Please try and get a hold of a copy of this documentary and see for yourself.

Grett writes on RAME: The girl had done a Ben Dover movie and she thought he was sweet. Her agent took her to xtreme, Rob Black etc and she filled out 'what I will do' forms and had polaroids taken. The closest she came to an audition was with Max Hardcore. She had heard all about him and was terrified, his cameraman showed her the parephernalia before he arrived which disturbed her more. Max arrived and started to f--- her on camera (you couldn't see anything). That was the audition. She walked off set when he started to choke her with his prick, there was a big argument and in the end she agreed to go ahead. The film crew moved in and took her away because they thought that she was unable to think for herself. She did a rough sex movie with Mr Marcus and fluffed on a gangbang. Went home and has left the business. The documentary was made 15 months ago. There was ashort interview with Layla Jade and her husband (she did a lesbian scene with Layla early on. Her agent said he took her to Max because after him everything would seem reasonable.

Bigcat writes on RAME: Lately it seems like [porn] auditions go like this:

producer: Um...are you ...like...over 18?
girls: yeah
producer: do you...um...f---?
girl: yeah

It seems that there is a flood of ugly, skanky and generally unclean looking girls flooding the screens lately.

Give Me Your Soul

Paul Cowan's controversial documentary Give Me Your Soul played again on Canadian TV this past weekend. I received a ton of email.

Crystal Lynn writes: Luke, Last night I watched the biography "sell me your soul"It was rather intriguing. From what I seen you put up with a lot of bull s--- but I give you so much credit for what you are doing you showed both sides of the porn industry. Not just the glitz and glamour. As and 18 year old female when I watched this biography the whole sex industry frighten me you reveled so much s--- such as HIV positive porn stars. In the biography the industry was very upset with you for reviling such delicate info but once again I give you credit you let the word out. I feel that the world has the right to know. This also serves as a deterrent to woman or men not to get involved in such an unsafe and unpredictable industry. Don't get me wrong but I do enjoy watch porn I am not against but rather bothered by the stuff I am unaware of. BTW, whatever happened to Katie June?

Luke says: Click here for my Katie June biography.

Jack writes: Hey Luke, I was channel surfing late last night, and came across "Give Me Your Soul." I thought you came across very well, albiet slightly robotic. Three quick questions; 1) Were you pleased with your portrayal in the film? 2) Who was the guy giving you the finger near the end of the film?

Luke says: I liked the film. And that was Melrose Larry Green harassing me at the end of the film.

Brodi writes: Saw this documentary where you're talking to the sister of J.D Ram at a CES show. You're asking her why she decided to come to the show. Anyway his death not really explained in the documentary and just curious if you can drop me a quick line or link how he died?

Celia writes: For what it's worth, and that may not be much because I only know you through two documentaries that have aired on the CBC in Canada, I'm a bit worried about you.

You obviously are a man with a good mind and a lot to say, but if you don't publish the definitive investigative look at the porn industry and move on I fear that you and your potential will be horribly wasted.

My impression of you is that you are incredibly sensitive and intelligent and perhaps becoming dangerously over-identified with the particular universe you feel compelled to witness. You are in a position now to say some very important things to the world.

I hope you haven't lost sight of your potential to effect an audience as a serious writer and investigative journalist. For God's sake, don't rot away in relative obscurity in the gutters of Calipornia for no good reason.

Well I feel sufficiently bizarre now that I think I must end this message. Why the hell I've been moved to write it God above only knows - I'm sure he's having a good laugh at my expense.

Kate writes: Ok...... so i was up and was bored and just hapened to catch the passionate eye on the boob tube. I am 23 yrs old and i enjoy learning if u can believe. So what is your take on porn really, and why so passionate about reporting on it? Are u pro or con? Was I too tired while watching the program to understand? Teach a girl a lesson and let me know. The documenatry was depressing. I feel that pornography is a sad thing more than anything. Ironically, I went to a female strip club for the first time just a few days ago and i wanted to cry and asked to go home after about a half hour. But i watched in that half hour. I was sad for a while and thanked the good lord that I am too fat to even consider it even if i had no choices! Fat is a strong word.... but anyway... I will let u get back to work and would really love a reponse. I repect what u do and think u write well. Good luck.

Email: Hello My name is Tim Smith. I am from Ontario, Canada and recent watched an excellent documentary "Give me Your Soul", on CBC, (the government owned television network) about the whole sex industry, including your work and trials through working. Eventhough i am 21, I am not an avid watcher or fan of porn (enjoy the odd titty-shake though hehehehe) i still found it amazing to learn the story behind the story and get down to the nitty gritty. I was especially interested in your story as i was planning on life in journalism. My family is in the media game here in Toronto and has been for many years, hence the easy choice for a career. But, eventually the whole idea of ethics against strong journalism is what finally turned me away. I am very happy to hear a journalist is finally sticking his head over the cloud to report the story as is.

Sandy writes: Dear Luke, Just watched the above program on the Passionate Eye, CBC which was first aired in 2000. Excellent, but very disturbing. Have you been forgiven by those in the porn industry for exposing the HIV crisis? Since this program first aired, has Katie June been located? What made her run away from the industry and her mother? What happened to Jade (?). Was Margold on drugs/drink? On a couple of occasions he appeared to be, then again he could have been high on his ego.

There are too many unanswered questions. If no one else has followed up on this cast of characters, have you considered doing so? The program left me with a feeling of overwhelming sadness, not just for the girls/women, but all those men too. I don't envy you your work. At times it must be very difficult. One could see that in your face.

Luke says: I have good relations with many in the porn industry who respect my work. Margold was not high on drugs or drink. The industry leaves all morally sensitive people with a feeling of sadness.

Thoughts On Cheyenne Silver

Holly writes: Dear Luke, Was just sent an email directing me to your site where I read all the latest gossip on Cheyenne and her ex-boy-toy, Greg. I am slightly biased on that subject, as I am someone who knew them personally as a couple, as well as individually. I was a little surprised to see how honorable and diplomatic Greg was when talking about Cheyenne and it only made me respect him more than I already did.

With all that she put him through, over and over again, I would have bashed her and let the truth be heard if I were him. When I asked him why he didn't say more, he indicated that she was going through some rough times and didn't want her hurt or dragged through the mud, more than she already was. Personally, I always thought that Cheyenne was a truly beautiful girl, who, although not very bright or worldly, had an innocence and sweetness to her that could actually take her far in life. She could have taken almost any path in life and made it a success. However, at a very young age, she chose the wrong path and has degrated herself and trashed herself. I doubt that she would have gone this route if she didn't have very deep-seeded problems stemming from her adolescence.

She is a very troubled girl, on a road to self-destruction and she seems to be taking prisoners on her way down, Greg being one of them. I thank God that he got out of that mess before he ended up marrying her and getting himself into real trouble. Throughout their relationship Cheyenne trashed him over and over, playing his heart strings like a violin. She would love him one minute and act like a cold bitch the next, with no explanations. It turned out that she would do this every time she had cheated on Greg, or wanted to, so that she could purposely start a fight and get him to give her a reason to break up with him. She constantly lied to him about other guys and jobs she was doing which supposidly involved a lot of money, but NO sex. Ya, right!

I can't say much for Greg's sanity during this relationship either, if he believed all of her lies or chose to ignore them. But, I just think that he is a kind person who was in love and wanted to believe that he could help "save" her. Cheyenne needs to take a cold, hard look at herself and finally realize that she is a valuable person, without having to spread her legs to succeed. If she would just learn to like herself and respect herself and put this life of trash behind her I think that she could have a chance in this world. However, at this point I don't think that she's capable of it and it would require a TON of therapy, and facing her past and all she's done wrong. Currently she is a very unstable person and therefore she plays total head games with the people in her life. I feel most sorry for her daughter, who can't expect a much brighter future than Cheyenne has created for herself, as long as Cheyenne continues to raise her so poorly.

She is by no means ecquiped to be a mother, and if she really loved her daughter, which I believe she does, she would see that herself. Love is not enough to raise a healthy human being in this world anymore, and I'm afraid that this is ALL Cheyenne can offer her daughter. I already see signs in this little girl that show that she's headed for trouble, and so the cycle continues. It's truly a shame when young, messed up women allow themselves to have babies themselves because they are just propegating the same horrendous life that they've lived for their child. I can't believe any Mother would want that. I guess they just don't see the real picture because they're too close. What pisses me off even more is that apparently Cheyenne keeps making the same, irresponsible mistake and has had a few abortions. (None of which were ever Greg's, by the way). That girl needs to keep her legs closed and get a clue about protection and birth control or I'm afraid she'll wind up with a lot more then just another child someday.

Can't somebody out there talk some sense into her and take her away from this life of being a whore? Can't someone make her see that she is only selling her body and sex for money, and no matter what she chooses to call it, it's being a whore. She needs to get help, if not for herself, then for her daughter. I pity the men that she has been with, especially Greg B., who is a kind person in need of a women with a kind heart herself, and that certainly wasn't Cheyenne. I think her heart turned to stone a long time ago and the only passion and true feelings she can have are between her legs.

Cheyenne, wake up and get a clue, baby. Is this what you want for the rest of your life? Do you look in the mirror, or into your daughter's eyes, and feel proud of yourself and like a good role model for her. Cheyenne claims to be doing the porn scene only so she can save enough money to buy her ranch and live a quiet, happy life. She's only fooling herself. She has been pulling in a fabulous income from Vivid and side jobs, (blow jobs) for over a year now and she doesn't have a penny saved to her name. She just keeps jumping from one house to the next, and it's always somebody elses place, who she can "crash" with. I would think that a first step to owning your own ranch would be to at least rent your own apartment, wouldn't you? She is one messed up girl who needs a lot of help.

Inside, I think there are some good qualities and I just hope that they're not lost forever. Greg, we feel for all that you were put through, but you did allow it to happen. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from her, because we all know that she'll be back. I'd bet my last dollar on it. Sometimes you have to put your own sanity before trying to help another, especially after you've tried and tried.

Oh and by the way, at the time her truck was supposidly stolen out of hotel valet in Vegas and crashed, Greg was on a plane back to L.A. She knew that better than anyone and yet still publicly blames him just to trash his name. I think she knows damn well who was really responsible and just wants to hurt Greg for finally wising up to all of her deceit and lies. Wasn't your ex-boyfriend in Vegas too Cheyenne, and didn't you disappear for hours and then lie about where you were? Do you have an honest, up front bone in your body? You deserve whatever you get, just don't take Greg down with you anymore, or you can expect trouble with a capital T.

However, as far as those "Stinkpot Silver" comments all over the place, I do have to say that this is just down right mean. I may not like what she's done or how she's living her life, but come on guys. I can tell you all that she is a very hygenic person and I know that she tries to keep herself fresh and clean. Sometime an odor can occur that you can't do anything about becuase of certain bacterias in the vaginal area. This is a problem for only her doctor to solve and is nothing to make fun of.

Shawna writes: Luke May the light shine upon you for taking the time to speak with Gregory Bauman, ex fiance of Cheyenne Silver. To say he was diplomatic is an understatement; I know the abuse and pain Cheyenne put him through. No one deserves such a burden.

Luke, I've known this man for many years and I must say that his only fault is his blind caring. She doesn't have a clue what a man like that is worth; she really is "dumb as dirt". Let it be said that Cheyenne is not an honest person; I have seen first hand and heard too much to know. Her poor daughter, starved for any kind of attention, doesn't have even a book to read. She is plopped down in front of a TV and appears to be her only source of learning or entertainment.

Cheyenne check list:

Drugs? YES, Escort, YES, Unstable YES, Cruel, YES, Chaotic YES, Manipulative YES, a total user YES. Child abuse YES. Violent YES, Physically abusing YES Pathologic Liar YES

Mr. Bauman may be too nice to say a bad word about the girl but, Im sorry, she is one "rotten egg". I was there to hear the many times she ran off to cheat on him, lied, and hurt that man. I heard the stories of "Cheyenne's" rage, the abuse she inflicted, I saw the black eyes an the bruises she inflicted on him. And yet he always defended her. She has no concept of dignity or consideration for others, except when she wants something from them.

I thank God everyday that his life can be normal again without that horrible person. For his kindness and love was nothing to Cheyenne but a way to gain brief insight into being a human being.....something she doesn't really grasp and probably never will.

Cheyenne's nickname is so appropriate "Stinkpot Silver". However, I would think a more accurate name would be "Crackpot Silver" or Merely "Pot metal"; Silver has value. For that woman will never measure up to a man like Gregory Bauman or be anyone's "silver" lining.

Taken from www.porngossip.com Cheyenne Silver Recovering 03/22/01

Posted by the reporter

It has been alleged that porn star and Vivid Contract girl, Cheyenne Silver, has been in recovery since January due to alleged complications to an abortion and the addiction to cocaine and perscription pills. Reliable sources have informed this reporter that she has cancelled her upcoming shoots for Vivid and has missed planned events due to hospitalization for drug related problems. I spoke with one person close to her but was unwilling to give any details as to Cheyenne's reported hospitalization other than she has been facing troubling times and the toll has been apparent. Vivid Video was unwilling to comment as to the condition of Cheyenne other than stating that "we stand behind our girls, and work around their problems" Certainly a far cry from latest reports recent reports of Vivid's unwillingness to work with other contract girls. It seems that, once again, the addiction of drugs has complicated the life of another adult film actress. We wish her the best.

For Mark Kulkis - The Nomadic Pornogapher

Farrell Timlake writes from HomegrownVideo.com: I just noticed that Mark Kulkis is no longer with Hustler so I want to wish him a lot of luck as he packs up the caravan and starts the long haul across the desert wasteland known as the adult industry. There are so many dangers that lay on the road ahead for those seeking to become their own production company. So much strength and courage is required to brave the harsh distributors that don't want to start selling a new line, even if you have a cool name and a famous ex-employee of so many veritable companies at the helm. Then, putting out a product that is not so generic as all the other grains of sand produced by all the competition becomes an exercise in survival. Every well of nourishing, ever-flowing content is jealously guarded and defended to the death. Any friend may become an enemy in the positioning for coveted shelf space. There is only the grueling sun of press burning brightly overhead and from which there is no escape. Prolonged exposure can prove hazardous in the EXTREME sense of the word.

We have lived so long and prospered so highly in our little oasis called Homegrown. Our lands are vast. Our harem is coveted. Our website, www.homegrownvideo.com, rises from the desert like a great palace adorned with a garden so splendid the Sultan is even jealous.

I wish Mark good fortune on the journey, but I do not forget when we once asked him for a drink from the AVN well and he said no. May you walk the same mile in your own shoes, Mr. Kulkis.

Stacy Valentine Wins Back Her Name

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 9, 2001--Stacy Valentine, a well-known female adult entertainer, was recently awarded a misspelling of her common-law trademark name (staceyvalentine.com).

``Going to The National Arbitration Forum (www.Arb-Forum.com) was the best choice we could have made. Mediation was based on facts, and policies were followed,'' said Keith Condon of Atlas Multimedia Inc. (Los Angeles), who prepared Valentine's argument and represented her through the dispute.

Valentine was recently the subject of acclaimed PBS filmmaker Christine Fugate's ``Girl Next Door'' movie, released last year in mainstream theaters across the United States.

The complete argument and decision can be viewed online here.

Jewish swingers

Carol Cox from CarolCox.com writes: We live in a predominately Jewish area in Montreal...2 synagogues within walking distance from our house!! Well, we've been swingers for around 8 years when I started my website 7 years ago. We had only known one other couple that was Jewish, and in the lifestyle, before I started the website. Soon after, I was contacted by a number of couples, all Jewish and all swingers. I was surprised to find that so many lived in our neighbourhood! One couple is on the street immediately behind us; we can seen right into their backyard :) We've since met a large number of Jewish "lifestylers", both here in Montreal and at various places we have been to. It's actually become a topic of discussion amongst our friends.

Asshole Lee Blacklisted From RAME?

AssholeLeeoooo writes: I am here to tell you that RAME blacklists certin people from posting, they black listed me for disagreeing with a moderator about a post he refused to be posted. It was a post about me disliking a pornstar and he said it was a flame on the pornstar. Truthfully Luke it was not a flame at all, it was just my opinion and my thoughts on a certin individual. After this I was blacklisted from RAME. I'm sure if you report this you will get many emails from people telling you the same exact thing. If you read RAME you will notice a thread about lack of posts, well one of the main reasons for that is RAME's blacklisting of certin people like me, Luke if you go to http://groups.google.com and do a search for assholeleeoooo@my-deja.com, you will see that I was a regular poster there for along time until I was blacklisted. Well I hope to hear back to you on this.

Luke Gets Mail

Bob writes: I've been meaning to tell you for a while, you're coverage over the last week or two has been very good. I loved the way you covered the AOL V. CEN thing. I also really enjoyed the Kimmi Lixx interview, thought she came off very well, and was rather annoyed both to be distracted during it and to have to leave before it was over. I think its the best interview you've done since I've been listening. The Cheyenne Silver coverage was also, I think, quite good. I think, and you'll probably agree, the stories and site are a lot better when you're able to get interviews with good information.

Andrew writes: LUKE, THAT IS NOT STEPHANIE SWIFT'S BOYFRIEND IN THE PICTURE AT THE XRCO AWARDS. IS SHE TRYING TO FOOL EVERYBODY?

Amused writes: Luke, What is up with Tom Zupko's hair? That has to be the worst rug I have seen since "You Know Whose".

Brian writes: Luke, Great pics of the XRCO show. My God does Porsche Lynn still look stunning. Have you heard anything of a comeback because you would know, also for the hell of it, anything also on Barbara Dare or any other 80's starlets?

Tom writes: Hi Luke, Why no pictures of Taylor St. Claire, was she there? You have to try and get her to do an interview with you. What is going on with her? I think she is the most beautiful woman period besides in porn. A few acting lessons and she could of been a real actress and star. What did she get paid for Days of Whore and Ass Clowns? There is something for you to try and find out.

Hank writes: I don't know who sells those email lists. They are more valuable than your regular spam list because they are all addresses of people who have at one time purchased an adult website membership. Most likely the lists come from webmasters who own paysites, they have access to the email addresses of all their members BUT I would not be surprised in the least if some of the third party credit card processors do the same thing.

Brandy Alexandre writes: What the deal with the XRCO Hall of Fame? What's the criteria? Way back when, Bill Margold told me you couldn't be inducted until you were either 10 years into the business, or 10 years out of it, I can't remember which. Either way, some of those people don't qualify. Obviously, I asked the question because I, of course, want my place in it. But, if it's so corrupt, I guess being inducted is a hollow "honor." Definitely not a commentary on your contributions, accomplishments, or body of work, but a glad-handing, butt-kissing popularity contest. More shallow than breath on mirror, I believe the saying goes. For once I agree with Gene Ross? Did the world come to an end without my noticing? ;) When some organization wants to acknowledge the first woman to write, produce, direct, and star in her own movie without one of "the boys" doing all the work (which invalidates all the other claims to it), they know where to find me. On another note, looking at the pictures, when did everyone get so FAT??? Did you have a wide-angle on your camera or what?

Misha2000@hotmail.com writes: Hello, My name is Misha(Michail),Im 25 and live in Hamburg/Germany. Im interested in starting producing hardcore porn in Bulgaria(Varna and Golden Sands)(Black Sea). I speak russian and bulgarian. I was trying to build up a scene in the western Ukraine(Lvov),but conditions there are pretty primitiv and the costs are almost the same like in Bulgaria. I dont give too much about Budapest.I think Prague is interesting, but I wanna beginn my amateur productions in a brand new place where prices are not damaged yet. I pay for flight(Hamburg-Varna/Return,hotel with breakfast for 2 weeks from beginning mai-oct around 350$. I hope I´ll have possibilities also in renting nice appartments at the coast(with swimmingpool, nice gardenmsouthern europe architechture). Climate in Bulgaria is pretty good, but I´m planning just to produce between mai-oct when it´s very sunny. Girls in Bulgaria are very sexy,it´s a southern slavic race. The looking is mostly darker type(dark brown hairs, hazel eyes till black). Americans need a visa, which doesnt cost anything in Bulgarian consulates. Staying should be possible till 3 months(same as for germans,I am). I´ll go to Varna and Golden Sands,Albena,Saint Konstantin in mai. After I´ll stay in an appartment in Varna downtown(50$/month). I wanted you to ask if you´re sometimes in europe? If yes, would you be maybe interested in producing on the Bulgarian Riviera? I wanna start making a catalogue of Bulgarian girls as fast as possible.

Fred writes: So I was talking with one of my former law partners today, and he was complaining that his teenage sons got ahold of his computer, and were cruising a site called "flashmountain.com" or some such thing (basically, pictures of girls flashing their boob), and he was yelling at them.

I opined that if I had a 15 or 16 year old son, and he was checking out a site like that, I might yell if he were using my computer to cruise those sites, but the fact that he was checking that stuff out is an inherent part of being a 15 or 16 year old boy, and there's no sense in trying to prevent it. I got the distinct impression that my ex-partner did not concur.

Query: What do you think about that, Luke? What do you think most adults in America would do about that? (I guess I would be one hell of a liberal parent. Good thing I don't have kids.)

Luke says: That kids will inherently get a hold of this stuf is one reason for banning pornography. As a parent, I would do everything I could, up to about age 16-18, to prevent my kids from looking at it. After that age, I'd give up.

People with kids tend to have much more conservative views regarding pornography and other matters than those who don't have kids, or have kids who've left the house. Raising kids tends to make you more responsible.

I spent much of my teens looking at sex magazines like Penthouse.

New Amateur Producer Johnny Duke

Geoffrey Jones (geoff@discreetadultdvd.com) writes: Luke, I wanted to write you a brief review of the 2001 Desert Forum that was held in Phoenix, Arizona at the Pointe South Mountain Resort this past weekend. The event was sponsored by ccbucks.com, Influxbucks.com, Sexkey.com, PMB, SEG, Cyber Entertainment Network, Max Cash, and Insite Adult. I apologize if I missed any of the other sponsors, because the event was a great success due to all of their financial support. The guest panelist touched important on issues that effect all of us conducting transaction based web businesses within the adult industry. The event was broken down into Friday's speakers focusing on paysite owners and Saturdays speakers focusing on freesite operators. The speaker panelist came from the following companies; SEG, IBILL, Influx, RJB Telcom, Insite Adult, National Net, CC Bill, PornMegaBucks, Mature Web, WEG Inc/Join4Free, Pornication, Sun Up Media, Dark Dollars/Netpond. The welcoming session on Thursday night was at Jax Thai Bar in Tempe, Arizona which CC Bill bussed the participants to and from the bar in their own airport style shuttle. The bar was closed to the public and reserved for the forum participants. The drinks and food were provided by the events sponsors and they were not stingy when it came to showing us a great time. Friday night the group was bussed to a large night club in Scottsdale for the exotic-erotic bash held at Sanctuary. I woke up today with a bad case of the cocktail flu, but it was worth it. This weeks event was both insightful and a great time.

Courtesans vs Porn Stars

Here are excerpts from a discussion on NVBrothels.com:

Webmaster writes: I see two main options for a woman who wants to make a living by having legal sex in the US: LPIN [Legal Prostition In Nevada] and porn. Legal prostitutes in Nevada and adult film stars both get paid to perform sex acts. Is it better to be a legal prostitute in Nevada or an adult film star? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each occupation?

Porn star and prostitute JenLynn writes: The only advantage I can think of that porn *could* have is a royalty check. As Champaign pointed out elsewhere, royalties rarely (if ever) happen for porn actors. Also in porn, the images are always out there, so for some folks the worry of being "found out" never goes away. That's a real issue since most porn careers are very brief.

In general, the contracts are terrible, allowing the images to be sold and resold, edited, put into new formats such books, websites, cut into other videos etc.--really, anything the producers can come up with for a buck. The sex in porn generally isn't as safe. Condomless sex is common, including condomless anal, and while a woman in LPIN can make a good living with fairly straight, conservative sex, in porn more extreme sex is routine--facials, double and triple penetrations, hair-pulling and slaps, etc.

Even hardcore lesbianism, which I enjoy, isn't everyone's kick and not as important in LPIN. (Or in other words, women in LPIN have a lot more CONTROL.) With the few, rare exceptions of porn stars who have their own product lines or cross over into legit film, I can't see any advantage over LPIN, and safety is (or should be) probably the biggest issue.

Many girls have used their publicity to make big $ in LPIN

I totally agree. I didn't do much video, but the best part was having done it and then going back to the MLBR [Moonlight Bunny Ranch]. LPIN made me more aware too of having some control on the set. Hadn't I gotten used to having some control (especially. with safety, but other stuff too) I don't think I could have enjoyed doing video as much.

Webmaster replies: I agree that that working in LPIN seems more desirable. I think LPIN's biggest advantage is not having to be on film in public view. I have seen statistics showing that the STD rates rates for porn stars are far higher than for LPIN's. Some possible advantages for porn are less travel and more control over lodging, food, and day-to-day activities. Some porn stars only have sex with a few partners who they get to know well. I realize that there are many exceptions to these generalizations. Porn movies are often shot in distant locations, and sometimes porn stars have little control over daily activities. Porn also has a better reputation than LPIN. I think most women would prefer to be thought of as an adult film star.

JenLynn replies: Adult film does offer at least the dream or illusion of stardom for a lot of women. But each generation of pornstar has a shorter career. The videos now are so cheaply and quickly produced that they're pumped out in huge numbers, and few to none of them are memorable in the way some of the "classics" were. Some videos from decades ago still outsell the stuff poured out today. An example of that is looking at the AVN top 20 lists--it's rare that a video stays on the list for more than a single week. That gives you an idea not only the massive amount of porn being churned out, but how little of it reaches more than a small pocket of its audience. New arrivals to the industry have to do dozens or even hundreds of videos to have a chance in reaching a substantial audience even by porn standards, and even then a successful career will probably only last a couple years. It's a rapid rise into obscurity followed by a fast crash into obliviion for hundreds of young, generally naive women, with no royalties or further income potential to soften the blow. That's their choice and it can be an interesting ride, but I think of the Ginger Lynn's and the Seka's of a couple decades ago, and you just don't find them now. The gross amount of disinterest in recent porn awards shows reflects this. (There are a couple exceptions to that previous point, such as Asia Carrera and Jenna Jameson, but arguably even they are remainders of an earlier breed).

All that said, it might be an interesting time for a producer to actually invest some directorial talent, real lighting and film, a decent script, quality actors--the whole shebang--and try to make a mark. My guess is there's too much "noise" out there to get any more attention (or profit) than some other recent valiant efforts, like Les Femmes Vampyres. It's a better payoff to hire a guy in a tee-shirt to work a video camera from Comp USA, and a handful of unknown girls and do "gonzo" in a hotel room. (Or maybe to put it most simply, when everyone is a star, no one is.)

Pimp Master General (Dennis Hof?), owner of the Bunny Ranch, writes: I was with Ginger [Lynn?] and her new husband in FEb in Portland, we did three radio shows together, she told me she is making more $ off her name now than she did years ago, LPIN ladies cant profit from their name once they are out of the bus. I recently had dinner with Seka and her guy that she has been with for 13 years, who she met because of the bus. she is happy and he is loaded with money, fun and 12 years younger than her, the bus. was good to her.

Webmaster writes: All that said, it might be an interesting time for a producer to actually invest some directorial talent, real lighting and film, a decent script, quality actors--the whole shebang--and try to make a mark. One recent porno that had a good-sized budget is "The Uranus Experiment." The 1999 movie was rumored to cost over $750,000, making it one of the most expensive pornos ever. That movie featured a sex scene shot in zero gravity. I do not expect it to make a profit. Perhaps the trend of low budget porn is related to the VCR and the increase in private viewing. Movies that go straight to video have a limited earning potential. Most people who look at porn in private are not too concerned about the plot and the quality of the directorial talent.

Goddess Rings Luke's Bell Curve

Goddess interviewed me for an article on MikeSouth.com.

Here's an excerpt:

Goddess: Back to Gene, are you as impressed with Gene's massive biceps as I am? Has he ever let you squeeze his biceps? Have you ever fantasized about doing it?

Luke: No, I have never obsessed about Gene's biceps or his taunt muscular body. Gene is the competition. He is the dean of porn journalists.

Goddess: Hey! Only one of us is permitted to kiss Gene's shapely buttocks and it *ain't* you, Ford! How do you feel about what Gene Ross did-quitting Adult Video News, then telling everyone about the inner workings of the magazine? Do you feel it was a case of the pot calling the kettle black, that he participated and was every bit as guilty, or that Gene was only following orders and was justified in saying what he did?

Luke: I totally support Gene Ross telling the truth about AVN. That he has not been sued for his comments, which have destroyed the last vestiges of AVN's credibility (and publisher Paul Fishebein is fond of using lawyers for this stuff) shows how accurate he was. He's telling the truth from first hand knowledge. His motives are not of much interest to me. I primarily care about people's actions, not their motives.

Goddess writes Luke: How did you like the interview?

Luke: I found it amusing in a secular reductionist type of way.

Lynne writes Goddess: Please smack the boy for showing off...good and hard. Ring his Bell Curve...

Reductionism....to reduce the complex down to its simplest parts

Secular reductionism is to reduce everything, including creation, down to its simplest explanation which however does not include God but only nature or science, i.e., secularism. It's apparently one of the great evils of science and existentialism...the desire to explain everything away in terms of science without leaving room for God. Taking the mystery out of things. Looking at an elephant in terms of its molecular structure, rather than simply marveling at the holistic complexity of its creation (thereby proving a Creator.)

I do believe you are correct and that he was throwing the term at you out of context to use big words, in that it is very much current religious buzzword jargon. He is accusing you of trying to get at specific explanations, which is, of course, the point of interviewing someone. But instead of saying..."I don't wanna go there" we're getting the polysyllabic equivalent of Lukish Smiley Faces.

As to his reactions to "female vaginas" (there are vaginas of some other gender Luke knows about that we don't?), I daresay they are indeed far more complex than anyone, including Luke, wishes to devote the time and space discussing. Except me, of course. It may be anti-reductionist of me, but putting together the puzzle of Luke F-rd is one of my most favorite brainteasers. How would I occupy my time if I actually ever came to an understanding of him? I might have to study theology just to find myself an unanswerable mystery!

The Whip And The Chain

Matt NoMoral writes on RAME: Hey Patrick- Does "The Whip and the Chain" depict a pretend underage flat chested hairless schoolgirl hooked to the side of an underground cave wall getting smacked with stiff black leather, while being sodomized and thoroughly drenched with golden love by her older brother with the soft sounds of Kenny G playing in the background? :-)

Pat Riley replies: I haven't seen the movie nor do I know where to get it but I understand it was made in 1970 by Titus Moody who, If Luke is to believed, died recently. It stars Sandi Carey (fairly chestless) who is involved in some cult activities that take place in a church where she's tortured and screwed and eventually either she or someone else is killed in the course of sex. IOW it's a snuff (pretend) movie and that's apparently the reason no one wants to touch it. Of course it might also be horribly bad.
