Carlos Perreira Working Again With Greg Lasrado?
I heard that Portugese computer maven Carlos Perreira had been working again with Brisbane net porner Greg Lasrado over the past few months.

On his nationally syndicated radio show last week, Dennis Prager asked: Is rape primarily a sex act or a violence act that happens to use sex?
Prager discussed this LA Times article on castration:

Dennis Prager says: If you do castrate these molesters, and remove their testicles, they stop molesting kids.
If sexual violence by men disappears when men's testes are removed, doesn't that argue that rape is biologically sexually based? Which is no moral excuse for rape.

DP: I don't know why feminists and the academic world so want to believe that it is a sexist culture that wants to do violence against women. Even though more men are raped then women when you count prison rape. All the rape of men, is that hatred of men? Is that just violence against men?
Of course rape is an act of violence but it comes from a sexual part. What about all the rape that went on in the Bosnian war of young women? These weren't career criminal rapists. These were men who raped when they had the chance. It is an act of evil, but an act of evil coming from the testicles.
If it was just hatred of women, the soldiers would just shoot them or beat them.
The vast majority of rapes, says DP, are sex obtained violently, which may be part of its thrill.
Today Dennis Prager discussed Charles Andrew Williams, the teenager who shot and killed two people and wounded 15 at his San Diego public school.
The primary issue is not the availability of guns because they've been at least as available throughout history and we haven't had this rashing of school shootings.
There is something wrong with the culture in which we live.
Number one - we've allowed people who are unhappy are allowed to take out their frustration on innocents.
Number two - mediafication. You can yell about parents and teachers but there is a larger cultural issue. It's the incessant drumbeat of sex and violence in the media. That drumbeat is inuring - it numbs you.
When you listen to the students at the school describe the shooting, they sound disengaged. They sound like they're giving media reports. "Multiple victims." The kids sound like newscasters.
The kid knew he was on TV and he adopted TV talk. I've never used the phrase "multiple victims" in my private life in my life.
Listen to the non-reality of his words. The fluency and the disengagement.
How could the plethora of gore in the media not desensetize? Live killings would not be as dramatic as movie killings because there would be no music and special effects.
Caller: The students are so wrapped up about being on TV that the shootings pale in comparison. That terrifies me. My wife and I are considering home schooling.
DP: It's easy to become mediafied and not live life. There's no countervailing powerful force in the lives of many. TV is ok if there is a more powerful force like religion or patriotism in a person's life.
The kids interviewed talk like media stars rather than classmates of the murdered.
How come school security guards are not armed? An unarmed security guard is not a security guard. Would any business hire a security guard who is not armed?
The explosion of amoral violence in movies began in 1967 with Bonnie and Clyde. And in literature with Truman Capote's "In Cold Blood." Capote called that book "Faction." It used fictional techniques to dramatize and personalize fact and get readers involved in the story of a murder.

Forget The Stereotype Of Lesbians Copulating With Dogs

Hunter's employed by Adult Video News, a trade paper. Trade papers like AVN and Variety and Hollywood Reporter are essentially part of the industry they cover and these publications exist to support their industries.
As Rodger Jacobs notes in his March AVN editorial, trades are a different brand of journalism and should not be looked at in the same way as general interest publications. For instance, trades rarely publish anything damaging to their industry. LF.com, on the other hand, does not give a hoot how much damage it causes to the sex industry. Actresses As Hookers
Over the past few weeks, I've published extensively about porn stars working as prostitutes.
My guess is that a majority of porn stars turn tricks on the site. The definition of a trick can be tricky. Some porn girls, for instance, have some favorite johns that they regard as acquaintances and friends. These johns may not pay directly for the sex, but instead flower the girls with expensive gifts.
I regard porn stars, prostitutes, nude models and strippers as varying types of sex workers. I think the general perception is that no sex worker, or their pimps, are regarded highly.
I think regular folks perceive Playboy type nude models as on a higher plane than strippers. And that strippers are socially higher than porn stars who are above escorts who are above street walkers.
Even within the different categories, the sex workers themselves make hierarchies. Strippers for instance tend to denigrate those fellow strippers who put out the most in their performances. 'Oh, she spreads [her vagina]. I don't do that.' I've noticed in strip clubs that the best looking girls usually put on the least explicit and least energetic performances.
Within porn girls, it is generally perceived that Vivid Video contract girls are on the highest rung. And those girls who do anal and double penetration and double anal and gang bangs and bukkake are on a lower social level.
I've got a question for my readers. Weren't mainstream actresses (and female singers), be it stage or film, at one time regarded as hookers? I think there's still a lot to be said for the accuracy of that view with many mainstream actresses, ranging from Marilyn Monroe to Demi Moore to the singers Madonna and Barbara Streisand.
I think many people perceive successful actresses and female singers as women who've slept their way to the top.

Luke Meditates On Pornography
At least once a day, I try to take time to tune out from life. I meditate.
I like to lie on my back on a blanket on the floor. I let my hands drop to my sides, generally facing palms up. My legs spread about a feet apart and my feet flop to the floor. I close my eyes and relax.
I notice my breath and little else. Thoughts and feelings wash in and out of my mind. Though I want to clear my mind, I accept the distracting thoughts and look upon them as leaves in a stream. Usually, after five to ten minutes, I feel my hands start to warm up as I relax. This signals that the blood is flowing more easily to my extremities. Normally, I carry varying degrees of tension and adrenalin in my body which impedes the flow of blood to my hands and feet.
Early Tuesday morning I had trouble sleeping. I tossed and turned on my floor. I was fixated with thoughts about Logan and her breasts. Illicit fantasies dogged me.

Anyway, the point of all this is that my meditation technique largely mirrors my approach to the porn industry. Most of the time, I simply accept and report on reality. Just like the unwanted thoughts that flow in and out of my mind when I try to meditate, I accept the morally undesirable behavior of porners that I report on. I realize that most of my readers care little for my moral evaluations of what is going on in pornville.
While my subjects generally appreciate my nonjudgemental approach to reporting on them, they do not appreciate some of the implications of this approach. For just as I accept and do not pronounce judgment on porner's behavior, so too I accept and generally publish, without comment, the harsh sentiments of other porners and of my readers.

Yes, I make exceptions to this attitude. If someone sends me something libellous or morally repugnant or totally nonsensical in a a non-amusing way, I don't publish it.

I believe with Dennis Prager that ethics are situational and absolute. The situation determines the absolute.
