From LATimes.com: A woman whose ex-husband is accused of raping a female porn star pleaded not guilty Thursday to trying to dissuade the woman from testifying against him.
Rebecca Ethel Holland, 33, of Los Angeles is accused of threatening the woman with revealing her adult film career to the mainstream media--with photos--if she took the witness stand in the upcoming trial.
As part of of her effort to prevent the 29-year-old Covina woman [Eileen Rodriguez aka Nina Suave] from testifying, police said, Holland called her and posed as a CNN reporter from Australia seeking to cover the case. Sheriff's detectives got that message, Australian accent and all, on audiotape, and another conversation.
"This strikes at the very heart of the integrity of the judicial system," said Deputy Dist. Atty. Christina Weiss. "She masqueraded as a news reporter trying to get a story." Holland, who works at a Bed, Bath & Beyond in the Beverly Center, is a part-time actress who has appeared on television shows such as "JAG" and "The District."
Ronald Holland, 56, is charged with 22 felony counts, including multiple counts of rape, kidnapping for ransom and forced oral copulation. He and his alleged victim met last March while making a private video of the two of them having sex. They developed a relationship but, once it soured, Holland allegedly said he was a parole officer and threatened to imprison her unless she fulfilled his sexual fantasies. The woman has no criminal record, so it is unclear why the alleged threat made an impact.

LOS ANGELES (APBnews.com) -- A Los Angeles man is charged with raping a former girlfriend by impersonating a parole officer and coercing the adult-film actress to have sex with him.
Ronald R. Holland, 56, an actor, pleaded not guilty Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court to 21 felony counts of having unlawful sex under color of authority and additional charges of kidnapping with intent to commit rape.
The victim was a 29-year-old Covina woman who works in adult entertainment. Her name was not released to protect her privacy.
Holland and the woman met while filming a private pornographic film, then went on to have a romantic relationship that spanned several months, said Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Tim Barker, who is investigating the case.
But the relationship soured when Holland learned his girlfriend was still making porn. He later returned and gave her phony paperwork that said she was on parole under his guidance, Barker said.
From September to November of this year, he allegedly coerced sex from her.
"She honestly felt she was on parole under this person's guidance," Barker said. "He had her convinced that he could have her arrested and thrown in jail if she didn't do what he wanted."

WHEN: October 2000 through February 15, 2001
WHERE: Hillsborough County, Pinellas County and Raleigh North Carolina
WHY/HOW: During the month of October 2000, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Vice Unit began conducting an investigation into the "Private Pets Escort Service", which was operating from Hillsborough County, Florida and Raleigh, North Carolina. During the investigation the escort service expanded to the Pinellas County, Florida area. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Raleigh, North Carolina Police Department and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office worked closely to conduct this five (5) month long investigation.
The investigation revealed that the defendants (the owners and employees of Private Pets Escort Service) were involved in an ongoing criminal enterprise which was a front for prostitution. During the course of the investigation, five (5) women who were working for Private Pets Escort Service were arrested for prostitution related offenses. Four (4) of these arrests were made in Hillsborough County, Florida and one(1) arrest was made in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Information obtained during the investigation revealed that customers paid $250.00 to $300.00 for one hour session with the women, sometimes additionally paying a tip fee for the women to perform sexual acts on the customers.
The investigation revealed that the escort service charged their employees (escorts) thirty percent (30%) per call that the women responded to. The estimated yearly revenue for Private Pets Escort Service was $250,000. Private Pets Escort Service advertised their business exclusively on the Internet via their web-site "Private Pets.com". The web-site provided photographs of the available escorts along with a biography of themselves and their escort fee. The web-site additionally provided a message board that was used for clients to review their sessions with the escorts. Appointments were made with the escorts via email contact with the owners or a direct telephone number to the owner for contact. The escorts responded to customers in various locations within the Tampa Bay area and the Raleigh, North Carolina area. The Statewide Prosecutors Office has assisted on this investigation and will be prosecuting the case.

Who's This Fake Seymore Butts?

Then during the flick, the guys keep calling some young punk "Seymore," who looks like he's about 20 years younger (and dumber) than the real Seymore! This kid's got the short haircut, five o'clock shadow, the earring - the whole Seymore wannabe bit going on - just pathetic! (Sadly, the always obnoxious Philmore - Seymore's usual "cousin" - IS there, though.)
But get this - to top it off, a day later I see the SAME fake Seymore pretending to be a "regular guy" on an episode of "Blind Date"! Naturally he gets nude on the date, much to everyone's surprise - except mine of course, since I'd just seen him doing his fake Seymore bit on the Amber tape.
Now my questions in all of this mess are obviously more than a few. Some of the main ones I have listed below: Who is this weak fake Seymore brat? Where is the REAL, ultra-cool Seymore? Why does the show "Blind Date" hire known porn stars as contestants to deceive the public? Who is True Digital and why is their picture quality, in this day and digital age, so lousy? Can the REAL Seymore sue these clowns who are using his name? Or did the REAL Seymore stupidly sell his name to them? ANY input in clearing up this mystery (and travesty of justice) would be most appreciated, folks. I mean I just don't want to wake up tomorrow and find some tape in the store with some jerk from Dawson's Creek or something saying that now he's "Buttman"!!!

The two parties went to court and Adam can no longer use the "Seymore Butts" name. Factory owns it. And they're behind this new Seymore Butts.

I just wanted to get the number of employees of OMPI corrected before I comment. CE has never hired or fired any of the people you are speaking about - it has been OMPI always. If you look at the sites they work on in whois you'll see also that OMPI is the owner of all of those websites these people work on - not CE All I'm saying here is that I had no knowledge of what is going on in OMPI's camp - I had no say in any decision making with regard to this current issue with his employees I will tell you that OMPI is contracted to us for search engine work "ONLY" and we handled his payroll while we did, to help him out because he's been a friend of mine for 32 years. I will further tell you that I have called him since seeing these posts which I had no knowledge about and talked to him about this issue. The *fact* is that as of a week ago he took over his own payroll for his employees. All we were doing was helping him out administratively. He said he is hiring back the people who were productive and that anyone who wants to talk to him has his email address. I am telling you exactly what he told me because I still don't know exactly what happened. Not one CE employee has been layed off. What happened to that money, why can't RB (and the other B) just each write a check to the company, and make sure the webmasters are paid on time? First of all, let me state that I hold no beef with CE for making a business decision that did away with (whether temporarily or permanently) the free site builders program. Businesses make similar decisions every day.
My disgust stems from the total lack of respect they have given those of us that awoke Monday morning to this message on the Cybererotica Page Builders System Board. "No further work will be contracted through this division. This database is closed and will reopen when this division does. We do not know how long it may be."
No warning..no email...and after seeing that message most of us scrambled all day trying to get answers…which never came. This same builders board had a chat server that would have easily allowed for a company meeting to explain the situation to the "non-employees". Then the spin started....
Lee Noga posted on the CE webmaster board: "Business has usual, the rumor about the CE layoff is not accurate. There is a separate company that has dealings with FM, and they made a decision to re-organize, and had no work for their contractors at this time. These folks are not CE employees."
Mike B posted on the Maxcash board: "And which CE employee told you this? There were no layoffs, in fact we are hiring. Looks like someone fed you false info - or impersonated a CE employee"
Now, lets look at some facts.. By doing a simple whois one can find out that cybererotica.com is registered to Voice Media Inc. I have over 6 months worth of weekly paycheck stubs sitting here that all say Voice Media Inc. In fact they were written on the same account # as the partner payment checks for most of the various CE partner programs. Many of us had been issued "ntcor" email addresses..a domain whose administrative contact is Ron Levi of Voice Media Inc. A "separate company"? "Employees" or "contractors"
According to the U.S. Social Security Administration Handbook: "Generally an employer/employee relationship exists when the person for whom services are performed has the right to control and direct the individual who performs the services, not only as to the result -to be accomplished by the work but also as to the details and means by which that result is accomplished. That is, an employee is subject to the will and control of the employer not only as to what shall be done but how it shall be done."
Within the Page builders board I mentioned above was a very complex and extremely thorough set of directives as to just how these free sites were to be constructed, right down to what html tags were allowed to be used. Employees? Now I want to make something clear here. I am not making the employee verses contractor argument with any hidden agenda ..not angling for unemployment or any such bull-s--- that many would use to dismiss my argument out of hand. I am simply trying to point out that many of us, in fact I would say most of us, believed we were in fact working for Cybererotica, and were told as much on many occasions.
My main concern is that the actions of Cybererotica in the days following the "layoff" have at best minimized the contributions of many very hard working folks, and to many these actions have been a virtual thumbing of the nose at these "non-employees". Good folks, many with families, all with bills to pay, who had worked very hard to earn the money they were being paid, and whom certainly deserve better than this...to basically be told they didn't exist. I was warned by several people whom I look up to in this business that to say anything about all of this on a public board would be a bad career move.
I have come to the conclusion that if the industry I have come to love in the 14 months I have been involved is so damned thin-skinned that it can't respect this little statement of mine, then the hell with it....I will go back to my previous career. I have done nothing in this statement other than throw out some facts...point out some things that a bunch of unemployed "non-employees" have been feeling for days. No name calling, no threats, just trying to put a voice to a group of good people who have basically been told "you are irrelevant"! Well Ron....and John....we are NOT irrelevant...us piss-ants are PEOPLE TOO, and we certainly deserve common courtesy and a modicum of respect. From FM's post on the Maxcash board on Thursday night: "because we really care about people whether you want to believe it or not..." FM, one thing my Daddy taught me a long time ago....actions speak louder than words.....

However..let me address a few things, you talk about the SSN thing, why is it when folks get their checks they question nothing, when they lose their checks, they insinuate foul. If you find this as an issue, why did you accept the contractor job & cash the checks, a tad hypocritical, eh? As for having NTCOR addresses, it was an asset shared with Ompi, Ron has offered me use of his server and assets in the past, but this did not mean CE was a part of my projects. Example: Taz has an OnTheRopes email address and she is not an employee of OnTheRopes but she is consulting, her business cards identify her to OTR but ask her for her other business cards, she consults with other companies and has other business cards to reflect such both on and off the web. FantasyMan does alot of business on the web with alot of companies in all kinds of deals, partnerships, alliances, investment angles etc. Ompi falls into one of those. As for the "doors closed" notices this pink slip syndrome dates back to brick and mortar. Ya come into work, your home by noon. I could argue this point all day....but the bottom line is....I don't really care WHO we worked for....or WHAT we should have been called....WE DESERVED MORE RESPECT THAN WE WERE SHOWN ON MONDAY! Unfortunately the bank teller would not cash either check. She said..and I quote.."I cannot cash the checks from Voice Media. MikeB from Cybererotica replies: Regarding the check problem, it turns out it was a bank error. The webmaster went back to his bank later that day and they accepted the check without any problems.
I just spoke to Fantasyman and got some further clarification. Due to increasing check fraud, our webmaster account has a higher level of protection on it. This requires that checks presented are deposited, and not cashed. The problem arose from check forgers manufacturing their own webmaster checks and attempting to cash them. In the past months we've had an increasing level of the phony checks being presented against our account. So for everyone's protection the security level on our account was raised.

All webmasters WILL be paid - we are still involved with ironing out issues of monies due to us - and that is what is causing the delay. We do not anticipate that the payout will be delayed that much longer and we will keep you all up to date.

Can you picture what is happening in Washington right now? The DOJ, not being able to get a tremendous amount of money to fight obscenity ($5 million to date, enough to buy desks and notepads for a bloated government operation), now sees an opportunity to join forces with the DEA in a jointly funded cooperative task force. Thank god it is not that easy.
I don't care what people do in their private lives. It is none of my business, it is none of anyones business. If you want to smoke pot, that is your right. If you want to snort coke, that is your right. If you want to do E, that is your right. If you want to sit in your office and masturbate all day, that is your right. It is not my business, nor is it anyone else's business. "First off, let me start by saying that you have a very haunting voice. It kinda scares me, but then again I can't seem to get your songs out of my head. Your tunes are cleavorly laid out, and nicely done. Just a porno star is a strange song. As previously said, i think your voice is scary, kinda like christopher walken scary. Lyrically it was amazing and beautiful, you are quite a poet. Devoto is in his late twenties, and his experience with porn extends only about ten, maybe fifteen years back -- the visible place it holds in our current society is really rather new, so perhaps some background will help place porn use in better context.
When pornography was illegal (thus distributed by organized crime), it, in itself, was arousing because it was forbidden. Our culture was not innundated by sexually stimulating material as it is today -- before Playboy magazine hit the stands, the sight of a bare breast -- any bare breast, perhaps even one's wife's -- was a rare and wondrous thing. Porn gave men a glimpse of fantasy -- it was hard to find, treasured once it was obtained, and, to continue Devoto's restaurant analogy, the equivalent of a visit to a tourist trap restaurant during one's vacation in the Adirondacks. Maybe the food wasn't the best, but the ambiance was something one would never get at home!
As actual, physical sex became more accessible and more acceptable following readily available contraception, porn, for awhile, became a substitute for sex for those who weren't getting it but thought they should -- mostly older men whose wives retained the standards of their youth. It's hard to believe that women's orgasms were considered pathological and neurotic as recently as the 1950's, and that women who came of age before then were taught that to enjoy sex was a sign of maladjustment. Is it any wonder that their male counterparts craved sexually-oriented material as it became available over the counter in many urban areas in the mid- and late-1960's?
During the 1970's, porn became "chic," and gained a new audience of people who used it as an adjunct to their sex lives. These pre-HIV years were a time of sexual exploration, and young people experimented with sexual practices and each other. Birth control, including abortions, was easily available, and women were exploring new freedom in the workplace and within relationships. Porn was seen as a potential art form, and though the distribution system remained under the control of organized crime, there were also auteurs making product which reflected their own personal journeys. The business was illicit, profits were substantial, and there was money available to fund creativity.
In the 1970's, people who wanted to have sex tried to do so. Still, not everyone could -- people who had unwilling long-term marital partners who they chose NOT to divorce, people who had no partners for health reasons (physical or psychological), prisoners -- all these people had legitimate claims to be using porn for masturbation (and still do).
But, after herpes and then AIDS exploded into the most serious health crises in decades, porn use became safe sex. People stopped experimenting with one another, and used porn as a substitute. It's hard to believe that was twenty years ago -- that two whole generations have now come of age in a culture which promotes sexuality in the media but not in practice, because, in practice, promiscuity has become potentially a death sentence.
Porn has changed....once it was "junk food" because those who made it had no aesthetic standards, yet it sold because it was forbidden; now that porn is out in the open, people can choose between "junk" and "the good stuff." There's no accounting for taste...some people LIKE junk food, some are obese, as Devoto notes, and some of these people are going to go through life fat and miserable and keeping fast food restaurants and sleazy porn companies in business.
But Devoto, it's not fair to assume that everyone needs or wants an alternative to porn. Not everyone is suited to a relationship with another person. Not everyone has access to a relationship with another person. Even those who do often have dry spells -- most men do consume porn BETWEEN relationships as aids to masturbation. Those who use it exclusively rather than pursue relationships with women are really few and far between.
The ones who most concern me are the men who, while old and physically imperfect themselves, insist that their women be youthful as well as perfect physical specimens. This is relatively new -- men used to be willing to overlook physical imperfections to get a little nookie. They valued women as wives and mothers, not just as sex objects. Being single wasn't really acceptable, so men married for social reasons. Divorce created a whole new category of obviously heterosexual single men, and now both men and women feel they have the right to sexual satisfaction in marriage, so they expect more in that regard. For some men, "more" becomes actualizing their fantasies and, since fantasies ARE fantasies, they run the risk of ending up very lonely and very unhappy. Marriage is an investment -- it's not about having a babe on one's arm to show off to friends, or to play porn star with -- it's about having someone there in the middle of the night, when the chemo has you barfing all over the sheets...it's about having someone who loves you enough to get up and clean for you, hold you and tell you that you are loved no matter what....
Devoto, I am a highly sexual being. I had a lot of sex prior to my marriage, as a teenager and in the 1970's. It was never very satisfying -- I always thought that what I wanted was a long term relationship, and I was right. I had a lot of sex during my marriage, with my husband when he was healthy. As a widow, promiscuity really holds no interest for me. I've left porn, and with it access to sex with people who are capable of having casual sex without recrimination and judgement. I am unhappy with celibacy, but until a man decides that he wants to have a long term relationship with me, I'm gonna have to suck it up and get on with my life, because, as a woman, it is not my place to initiate relationships. All I can do is wait until something is offered, and then say yes or no... I'm starting to think about dating again...scary thoughts...
At forty-five, I can anticipate living another forty years. That's a long time to go without being touched, being held, having sex...so I hope I do find something, or rather, that something finds me. If I were a guy, I could get out there when I was ready and actively seek another relationship, but meanwhile I would masturbate, and there wouldn't be anything at all wrong about my use of porn as an aid to that. It might take years of grieving before I was able to get involved with another woman...I might never find one to compare with my late partner...and there's no reason I should have to do so. There should not simply be a FIXATION on satisfying ONLY the appetite as one would do with a trip to McDonalds, BUT one should look deeper and for a more meaningful experience. ALSO, I understand and can ACTUALLY empathize with men who are not CURRENTLY involved in a SEXUAL/PHYSICAL relationship (for one reason or another). But, a few things disturb me about all of this. Finally, in this day and age of special effects in cinema, could we not begin simulating sexual acts with special effects, make up, prostheses, clever camera angles and editing? Hollywood seems to do it quite convincingly. I know they have money, but doesn't that kind of tell you something about the general opinion of porn in the mainstream? They will spend a million dollars to make it look like Tom Cruise or Meg Ryan got hurt, killed, maimed, or even got lucky in one of their films without the actor actually having to take the abuse? But, despite all my concerns, I have to admit, you make porn sound like such a noble profession I am considering it for myself. I am attractive, have a decent body and I like sex. Amber, do I have what it takes? David Lace Loses Another Photographer?

Dino almost walked out on David at the Internext show in Vegas a couple of months back. In an effort to keep Dino on board, David purchased (while still in Vegas) approx. $10,000 worth of lighting and camera gear. Seems the bulk of their equipment was beat to hell, duct taped together, unreliable or not even working. David also put Dino on a $1000 a week salary in hopes of keeping him from leaving. What David doesn't understand is that some people can't be bought. If he would treat people with the respect and dignity that they deserve, it would cost him a hell of a lot less money and he could probably hold on to his employees a little longer.
Dino is one of the sweetest guys that I know and certainly one of the most talented shooters I've ever worked with. He was the only person there who had his s--- together and I knew he eventually would see the light and get the hell out. Dino has also shot some of my girlfriends and they think he's just the best!
