The media certainly do not cover all crime stories the same. This is especially true of the national electronic media, which has at most 365 opportunities a year to lead with a story. Given the tens of thousands of killings to select from among and that they sure as s--- are not going to lead with a crime story every night, the few times they DO lead with such a story it is because it serves their world view; because it advances some sort of pedagogical/ideological purpose.
By the way, I note that the white folks most inclined to disbelieve assertions of media bias in covering inter-racial crimes are those who live cosseted lives in communities far removed from black folks. Like say, people who live in Silicon Valley, one of the most negro-free places south of International Falls. For those of us who have lived out their lives on the racial frontiers of America's great urban centers, the media's bias against reporting black crime when it has a racial component is something one begins to take note of in childhood. Yes, I have witnessed this sort of thing with my own eyes, and on many, many occasions. (Which does not make me at all atypical among white folks here or in DC or in Philadelphia or in Chicago or Detroit or Cleveland.)
I am still waiting for the mass-media that showered endless coverage of the dragging death of a black ex-con in Texas (a shameful deed that the execrable NAACP used to tarnish George Bush a few months back) to explain why that story was worth wall-to-wall coverage, whereas the black slaughter of a group of young productive white Americans in Wichita was not worth mentioning.

Patrick Riley writes on RAME: Jake Steed is not exactly my idea of a great looking guy but this series has some merit, particularly as each volume seems to have at least one good looking black girl and Jake himself has at least learnt a few things from his association with Ed and TT. No "hurt the bitch" a la Anabolic or Extreme, and no attempt at a molestation plot a la Max; just a friendly atmosphere and some semi-interviews followed by screwing.
OTOH, he fancies himself as a rapper and the rap "songs" all seem to have lyrics indicating a contemptuous view of the females as whores and himself as a pimp (this is something to be proud of?). He has actually produced a CD which he's retailing from his web site and he runs a long ad for it in #24. He also seems to have guests with titles like "Grand Master Bubbu" who are supposed to be world famous rap stars (in their own minds doubtless) but fortunately they don't stay around too long.
Speaking of ad's, in #21 and up (and maybe earlier) the end of the tape is a long ad for a Bail Bond company which, yes, services clients nationwide. Jake raps about them while standing in the pool backgrounded by a slew of girls in bikinis and although he doesn't actually say he has used them himself, the inference is certainly there. I can just see the guy at arraignment: "Please your honor, can I have a VCR, TV and my copy of FHF#99 so I can look up the number of the bail bondsman?"(heh, heh)
Is this the sort of ad we want to encourage in our porn? What's next? Defense attorneys? A "Guide to California Prisons"? Trustworthy drug dealers? Hit men for hire?
Editing is actually hopeless with commercials for other tapes interspersed with the main sex scenes such that you don't know if Jake is fondling some girl for this tape or if he'll tell you that you have to wait for #99 to see her. He's also incompetent as far as taping. Two of the scenes in #21 have "f---ed up" (his words) tape, the "f---ing up" being in the form of a short scene some of which is pixilated.
Camerawork is likewise crappy, although not perhaps much worse than some of the others, but this is not entirely Jake's fault. He seems to have a white guy named T-Bone on camera most of the time. Unlike Ed it's not a question of lighting nor Witrock's inability to focus, but rather a decision that we don't need to see the whole girl, just the dick going into her mouth or pussy. It's so bad that sometimes I have difficulty describing the girl.
Of course you might like this approach as it accords well with Jake's practice of examining each girl's pussy in the same manner as one might check out the teeth of a horse. He yanks the lips apart (nothing sexual), opens up her hole, pulls back the hood, and rubs it a few times all the while commenting on the girl's quality. The camera occasionally includes a shot of the girl's face which usually shows about as much concern as if she were being examined by the gynecologist.
In contrast to the sterile approach to examining them, when he has a girl he (and usually I) like, his approach can be quite passionate with lots of kissing, body fondling, and emotional sex. In #24, for example, the scene with Princess/Kelly (not the best looker in the movie but petite and has a nice body) is very erotic at least at the start. In #21, he does a similar--maybe even better--scene with Pistol.
Jake makes an interesting comment in checking out the butt of Pistol when he says that she has a "white girl's butt". Wow, out of the mouths of babes... Exactly the distinction I've been making all along! White girls have inferior butts (and generally thighs).
What's a good butt? First of all, let's exclude the woof-woofs, the aged, and the obese. In blacks that's someone like Oprah, or in the porn area, Kira. Ya' know, the two seaters. Ka-thump, ka-thump--the sound of their mass moving down on you to crush your body. And the aged whites. Marilyn Chambers probably looks something like Oprah in the nude, except for the color.
And then there's the Amazon. People like Janet Reno or...just pick lots of the girls in Super Freaks and the other black Elegant Angel stuff. Black women suffer a lot from this syndrome but fortunately BCS and FWF are generally discriminating.
What's left are generally petite girls and, of course no need to exceed 25, nor deal with someone who has whelped. Look at the girl's butt. In the black girls it's rounded to the rear--boy-like--and firm; in the whites, the fat has been more heavily distributed to the sides of the hips and even where it appears on the back, it's loose, leading to the dreaded cellulite when the girl flexes her thigh muscles. Ideally there should be a slight dimpling on the sides of the butt but this almost never occurs in white girls (but it does occur in males of all colors and in black girls). You can easily see this in FWF when Jake slaps the girls' butts. The quality-butted girls don't budge whereas ones like Pistol show the flab.
No different with the other black series is the problem these girls have in acquiring a name. For example, Princess above is shown as Kelly on the box, and even if she stuck with one or the other, do you know how many Princess's and Kelly's there are? Sheesh! It's not like this is their real name. Another in #24 calls herself Treasure in the movie but is Biatch (I presume some play on "Bitch" or maybe a simple misspelling?) on the box.
Anyway, if you haven't already done so, I recommend you check out the series. Pick a box that includes a cute girl. Clit alert for voyager: Kianna (box) Kia (movie) is a cutie-pie in #24 who has a nice prominent clit. Not much attention to it from Jake but still. Mowett in #21 (and others; she's even been in some of the Elegant Angel black rubbish) not only has a prominent clit that she rubs and pushes out when Jake's screwing and analing her but she also wears glasses. She's very enthusiastic but doesn't make the Riley cut on looks (nor butt).
Oh, and for Luvbooty, your man Mandingo appears in #21 and manages three cum shots in the first scene with only oral sex (no in-out). Then in the last he seems to be having difficulty even getting a hard on and then just disappears from the scene without sex (Jake takes over the girl without comment).
