Lesbian Kiss At Dodger Stadium
One of the "lesbians" kicked out of Dodger Stadium August 8 for "kissing" is porn star Nico Treasures - identified as Meredith Kott.

A kiss is just a kiss--unless it occurs in the seventh inning of a night game in Section 53, Field Level, Dodger Stadium. In that case, it becomes a reason to get thrown out of the ballpark, the basis for a threatened lawsuit and finally the motivation for an unusual public apology by Dodger President Bob Graziano.
Danielle Goldey and Meredith Kott celebrated the home runs by kissing, apparently with too much exuberance to satisfy stadium security guards, who descended on Section 53 en masse.
Goldey estimated that as many as nine guards appeared in the aisle of the row where she and Kott were seated and demanded that the two women accompany the guards behind the stands.
While one fan videotaped them and others lustily hissed and booed, the guards demanded Kott's identification and initially refused to say why, she said.
Kott and Goldey were vindicated Wednesday when Dodger officials at a news conference in West Hollywood apologized to the couple and all other gays and lesbians, announced that they would give 5,000 tickets to gay and lesbian organizations and said all stadium security personnel would undergo sensitivity training.
The Dodger actions were part of a negotiated settlement to avoid a civil rights lawsuit the women threatened to file.
Luke: Dennis Prager called the lesbian kiss another example of behavior that degrades our society. Prager admits that if it was a heterosexual couple kissing, it would not have mattered.
Does society have a right to discriminate on behalf of heterosexuality?
Most parents would've been offended to see a same-sex kiss in front of their kids.
One of the lesbians told a newsconference that those who do not like to see same-sex public affection, they can leave the stadium. If so, then most parents will probably not want to go to Dodger Stadium.
P: If you showed young girl a regular dosage of attractive women kissing each other, many of the girls would model that behavior and enjoy it.
Luke: On Howard Stern's show, Nico Treasures said she refused to work with blacks. She said that there are "those in the porn industry who frown upon this" and that "if those people were offended, it would set my career back significantly".
She later changed her mind and had sex with blacks on camera.
Roger T. Pipe talked to Nico at the 1998 CES: "Elsewhere, Nico Treasures is rested and ready to come back even stronger this year. Many porners have put out tapes unintentionally featuring underage actresses and rarely have the feds cracked down so hard, seizing records and cash and property. But the feds have kept a close eye on Eddie W for 25 years.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Owners of scores of adult Web sites have been charged with billing thousands of Web users for supposedly free services, and billing other consumers who have never visited the Web sites at all, the Federal Trade Commission announced Wednesday.
Both the FTC and the New York attorney general's office filed suit in U.S. District Court seeking to halt the billing practices and have asked the court to freeze the defendants' assets in order to reimburse consumers. Crescent Publishing Group, Inc., based in New York City, and its owner, Bruce Chew, as well as David Bernstein are named as defendants in the complaint, along with 64 affiliated corporations that operate the adult Web sites, which include Playboy.com and Highsociety.com.

Taylor, the Executive Editor at Playboy Enterprises, worked at High Society magazine for Crescent in 1996-97 but did not work with its internet side. According to the complaint, the "Free Tours" generated income of $188 million between 1997 and 1999 - $141 million of which was generated in the first 10 months of 1999 alone. The FTC said the defendants operate the Web sites and promote them as free, saying that consumers' credit card numbers are required solely to prove that the visitors are of legal age to view the material - a common practice on adult Web sites. The sites say that the credit cards will not be billed, but thousands of customers were charged monthly membership fees from $20 to $90, the FTC said.
"I never saw any terms or conditions regarding how to become a paying member of the site," one consumer stated to the commission in the complaint brief. "During my time on the Web site, I never thought that the free tour had ended or that my credit card would be billed for visiting the site."
The complaint says that while consumers enter their credit card information, they view adult pictures in the margins of the page. Once the consumer presses a "Continue" button at the bottom of the page, the card is billed, although no Web page says the tour has ended or that their cards will be billed. Consumers who tried to dispute the charges were thwarted, according to the complaint. The defendants used billing names different than the names of the Web sites, so consumers often had no idea who was billing them.
In the complaint, the FTC cited one consumer who visited Highsociety.com and had no idea why he received five subsequent $49.95 withdrawals from his checking account by companies named Split Back, Romulust, and Arachne. The corporations, 65 in all, were all owned by Chew and have the same business address, the FTC said. Also, the consumers had difficulty contacting the defendants.

Crescent was an outstanding, even exceptional organization.
Their checks always arrived on time, and they always paid more than all the little dick scums (like Bradley, Lens, (Insert loser paysite owner name here)) put together could ever pay. That is the bottom line...they paid more than anyone else, and were resented for it within industry.

Lensman writes on Netpond: The hypocrisy. I don't know of a SINGLE major freesite/TGP/freehost that wasn't sending traffic to Crescent. The only thing that matters to webmasters is money. Now that they are gone, it easily makes Amateur Pages the largest conversion free program on the web.

As for flying their banners, well, most everyone did, in one way or another, including most of the major search engines. I don't think the FTC would bother to go after each one of us for fun. But I can picture them paying a visit to the major program operators that sold huge amounts of traffic to them, and asking them some SERIOUS questions.
CJ, I am not a fan of bad publicity, but bad billing practices is like kiddy porn - the more it is talked about, the more it legitimizes OUR businesses. We do not make money from naked kids, and we don't bill improperly. Those are the things that will seperate out the good, decent, and honest operators from the theives.

I suppose they had to have 64 companies to have been able to maintain merchant accounts, opening new firms and new merchant accounts as the old companies' merchant accounts were closed. What amazes me is that one guy owned all the companies and used the same address and raked up 188 million in transactions. Either the credit card companies don't read applications or use any due diligence or those penalty fees are proving to be profitable enough to turn a blind eye.

LT: I have some comments on Lynne's remarks appearing a week ago on your site. Lynne, many of your posts are very well thought out, and many I agree with...however, your remarks regarding RAME and your continual rationalizing to excuse the adult industry from it's role in breast implants I find troubling. First, the "someone" that wrote those was me. And you used my remarks as a cornerstone for a diatribe. I can assure you I have stuck up for women, particularly on this issue, but I won't stick up for someone who is wrong, be they man, woman or wombat. And when it comes to your remarks about the adult industry and breast implants, you are right to a point and then very wrong.
I realize several folks wrote things on RAME or sent things to Luke that were insulting or attacking to you, but that doesn't mean that represents the whole of RAME. It's very unfair to paint with such a broad brush. Lynne, you asked why would anyone think telling a woman her job as a nude entertainer bei! ng contingent on her getting a boob job would be prosecutable...because it is, particularly how it's been gone about. Then you answered your own statement by saying that it wasn't illegal. I won't give you the laundry list of charges that could be filed against these guys (and girls). I prefer they and their lawyers not see what's coming until it hits them. *My* (not our) complaint isn't that Cheyenne Silver got breast implants, but the . Someone wrote that Vivid doesn't "force" their "girls" to get implants, but simply puts it in the contract "as an option". So why would a company put something in a contract if they didn't want them to do it?
You say that asking someone "If you have your breasts enlarged, I will pay you more money," is not a threat. It is an option" . First, even that is when it is handled the way it has been. And what about "Get boobs or get out"? What about constant pressure and coercion? Economically it is the equivalent to a gun being held to one's head. Hopefully you aren't someone that has been fooled into believing "it's a woman's choice". Had I been around Cheyenne Silver you can bet I would have re-inforced positive self-esteem. Would it have worked? Doubtful. Myself and others have tried this and it gets overwhelmed by those in porn pushing them *to* get implants. Any victory is only temporary as long as they are surrounded and constantly hounded by the creeps in this business. Another factor is not letting anyone outside the small circle know ahead of time. Cheyenne Silver falls into that. Since one well known porn woman mentioned it publicly and was overwhelmed by letters from fans telling her not to, I can only think of two women in porn who mentioned it *before hand* (one ! on Luke's site, who received many missives *against* getting implants and decided not to). That was a key moment as the industry seemed to go out of it's way to isolate women from input against implants after this particular woman had fans talk her out of it. Her gain was a loss for many porn women in the future.
Why do you continually throw it other directions and try to rationalize what's gone on in the adult industry? Yes, "Spring Break" tapes are loaded with fake tits too, but so what? That doesn't excuse the porn and dance industry. And when it comes to fake tits, they were on the cutting edge. How they operated it was and is illegal and it's time the edge cut back. But, again, it doesn't excuse them. It makes me question your motives. Are you afraid it will impact friends you still have from porn? I know of many horror stories about women in porn and breast implants. But, clearly, for self-defense or defe! nse of friends, you seem to have decided this didn't happen. It did. It still does. You have come up short in your analysis Lynne. Think deeper. Think back on all those "new" boobs. Do a past life regression if necessary. Whatever it takes to come to the realization of what has truly happened.
And to Goddess, please go back and re-read what Cheyenne Silver said. She never said anywhere that she wanted breast implants. I agree that she needs to clarify who she is talking about. And unless you've been subjected to the constant pressure and hammering away, it's hard to understand. But let's not throw the issue solely to her self-esteem issues and have that stand in the way of the wrong doers.

Using children to make political points is objectionable in itself. These children, especially the younger ones, should have been home playing with toys, with other children or with their parents, not spouting lines they could barely pronounce placed in their mouths by political activists. But by far the worst aspect of this exercise--and the one that is most revealing of the liberal Democratic mind-set--is its assault on children's innocence by instilling their own fears, cynicism and pessimism in them.
When I saw the film "Titanic," I was amazed to see that some parents had brought children to a film that not only featured a topless scene but also depicted in absolute realism the true story of a thousand people going to horrible deaths in the ocean depths.
