What if several people I worked with have it and they are all about to do a scene today sometime!?!?!? We must call everyone RIGHT NOW!! ARE you crazy? We need to CALL EVERYONE RIGHT NOW! I’m going to stay here as you we call everyone I worked with!”
So we proceeded to do just that we called everyone immediately! Even though I know I allot of people who were on the quarantine list and I’m not going to make their lives harder by saying their names just to make me seem like I’m not the only person going through this.
Another rumor I would like to clarify is that I have only been calling around as a producer not as talent trying to book myself. I’m a producer for a few different companies and I book anywhere from 6 to 10 movies a month so I call around to book people. I would NEVER put someone life in danger for 40 minutes of sexual pleasure and I’m truly insulted that people think otherwise. I get laid allot and it’s just not worth it to me to have to face Saint Peter at the pearly gates of heaven and say, ” I killed people because I was irresponsible and or wanted to get laid.”

I’m extremely happy to be alive and have a new outlook on life. For those who called Seth a liar, what facts is this claim based on and where is the evidence? When someone is accused of something it is the obligation of the accuser to prove something, not the accused to disprove it. Nevertheless, Seth claims he has the evidence to prove he’s not a liar.
My understanding is that Seth is one of a handful of people who were notified for having worked with Patient X. Seth was the ONLY one who voluntarily chose to let everyone know he was one of them. It wasn’t AIM picking him as the performer closest in rank to Patient X. The rest of the group that Seth was a part of chose to remain silent about their pending status. Meanwhile, I understand these other performers are still working.
This is an example of honesty in Seth’s case being the worst policy. He could have remained silent and kept working, just as the rest of these silent performers are. This suggests Seth to me that should be hailed more as a knight in shining armor rather than a bad guy.

HIPPA only applies to companies and their employees who have access to a person’s medical records. It does not apply to people who have no access at all. Conjecture is not illegal.
It is a combination of testing and trust performers rely on. Performers have to look at each others tests and also trust that in the meantime, the person has not engaged in risky behavior. If people have suspicions about the behaviors of others, they will not want to work with that other person even if they test clean. It is really the refusal of certain performers to respect the wishes of others not to work with them that is the problem. After this, most on the straight side are not going to want to work with Seth, because HIV is not considered as much of an acceptable risk in straight porn as it is in gay porn where half have it.

General “my” porn has testing procedures just as the female performers do. Since I started in 2003 I only know of one performer testing positive. However I do have many gay industry friends and that drastic seems high but I’ve said all along that ALL porn should have testing guidelines or condoms. Completely ridiculous and unfounded. The health department gives nothing, jack squat, as to what their estimates are based upon. I could believe 50% of ALL SEXWORKERS who are gay/bi have HIV, but not exclusively those who actively perform in movies today. That simply does not jibe with the producers I have talked with nor with the individual performers over the years. When the HIV epidemic was at its peak in the gay porn industry in the early 90’s, it’s possible at that time 50% of the gay male performers had gotten it. But that of course was due to condoms never having been used to that point.
I said this before and I’ll say it again: AIM tests do not have a complete, beyond the shadow of the doubt credibility. Having a clear test doesn’t necessarily indicate that someone is disease free and safe to work with. It’s people’s lives, health and livelihood we’re talking about, and even though we can never eliminate the risk completely, but we must take precautions to the best of our ability.
There are many other important elements that must be taken into consideration when it comes to having sex, with or without condoms, with somebody on or off camera. One of those important elements is that person’s sexual orientation, background and overall behavior. In that aspect, it’s clear that the percentage of HIV infection among homosexuals and transsexuals regardless of their color, race and nationality is higher than the straight people. Therfore they pose a potential deadly danger and the straight people must be cautious and refuse to work with homosexuals, transsexuals and cross over performers.
Everybody has the right to choose or decline a work offer and prefer his/her life and safety over taking a deadly risk for a pay check, and nobody can or should deny this right or force somebody to work against his/her will.
Be informed, and be safe.
