Michelle Avanti-Her Story- Part 3- STD’s

As I continued to do hardcore porn I started catching STDs all the time. My lower body hurt so badly and at times my private area felt like it was a blazing fire. I always seemed to get yeast infections and bladder infections so bad that I would bleed whenever I peed. I also ripped my vagina and butt from all the hardcore scenes I did.

STDs, infections and addiction

I could no longer work because I caught so many STDs and infections. So I devoted all my time to my addictions and was out of control. I felt completely hopeless. I eventually ran out of money and asked my agent for more work but he said no one wanted to hire me because my drug and alcohol problem was out of control. I told him I thought that was funny because on the porn sets they always provided alcohol and drugs to the girls. He suggested I escort and strip to make quick and easy money. He said in the mean time he would try to get me a few scenes to help me get some money.

I started to make money again and never once paid any of my bills. It all went to drugs and alcohol. It only got worse for me. One day while driving I ran a red light and got pulled over for a DUI. I got arrested and my car was impounded. I lost my car because I had no money to pay all the fines. You would think I would have learned my lesson but no, I got arrested again, overdosed twice and the ambulance took me both times to Kaiser Hospital where I had no insurance and no money to pay them. They told me since I couldn’t pay that they could just write it off. California taxpayers probably ended up paying my bill. I also went to Tarzana Treatment Center which the County of Los Angeles helped me pay for.

I eventually left the treatment center and rented a little room from an elderly lady I found on Craig’s list who was as much a drunk as I was. I didn’t care about myself. I was a total mess and no hope and faith for myself. I just figured oh well who cares I have no one and nothing. I ended up booking a scene on my own and convinced the director I could still perform. I ended up partying right after and all the cash I made from the scene was gone.  I had nothing. No ID, no credit card or money.

You are intelligent enough to write a book do so, keep it to yourself and do your best to publish it.

Still not sure who gives a shit, but OK.

I have the queasy feeling that by the end of this saga someone’s going to end up blowing their brains out all over the wall. Unfortunately it’ll probably be me.

  4. The Colonel Says:

Allright, the story of Michelle Avanti’s life: prostitution, drug addiction, STD infection and bullshit. Let me guess: it’s everybody’s fault but yours, or maybe it’s nobody’s fault but yours. Either way, why should I give two fucks? Your life, your problem, you deal with it. I have no time for that, I gotta go get my dick sucked.

  5. Ruby Says:

I wonder how many people your irresponsible ass infected, we don’t want girls like you in porn! You endanger all of us. Please never come back.

  6. the general Says:

Every performer in the porn cirlce of san fernando valley is at the risk level of the riskiest person in the cirlce. There is no different risk level for different performers.(unless you are condom only).
The fact that there are neeled users, gay for pay guys, hookers, etc., means that you are ALL at the risk level of the above mentioned memebers of the circle. Just because you may have a certain ‘no’ list of performers or acts you will perform, doesnt mean that the person you are woriking with today wasnt doing those acatct same things yesterday.

  7. the general Says:

No agent, producer, director, or AIM will ever tell you what I stated above. Theywill tell you that it is safer to have sex with a ‘tested’ porn star than with someone you pick up in a bar. This is complete and absolute bullshit. Let alone being at risk for the numerous things they DONT even test for.(HPV, herpes)

And with all the oral the girls perform, AIM does not even do throat swabs every month. A urine test will NOT show gonn/chlam of the throat..

P.s. RUBY, you are at the same risk level as EVERY other performer. “you endanger all of us”=the pot calling the kettle black.

Just a little reality check for y’all.

  8. C Los Says:

I will never get why the chicks that get out of porn broke, busted, and forgotten, always wanna write a “book” about it. I will applaud the first chick that writes something along the lines: “I am a real fuck up and my mind was all fucked up before I even got into porn. I’ve always been a follower and easily influenced and not to mention I am known for making very shitty decisions. I tried porn because I wanted to be a “star” but failed miserably because of my poor judgment. Now I look in the mirror and realize how much of a loser I am, so instead on blaming it on the industry and everybody else…I’m going to take responsibility for my own actions, close that chapter of my life and move on to hopefully better things! I sure hope I don’t continue to be a complete jackass!”

You know, something like that I guess…HA! My cheap 2 cents. Just like I could give a shit what other people think about me, don’t mind me and what I think, just my personal opinion.

  9. Ruby Says:

I disagree General, I’m not saying there’s no risk, I’m saying that a responsible worker is at less risk than a woman who does not have the presence of mind to pay attention to what she’s doing. Anyone who has sex with more than one person tested or not has the same risk of infection, regardless if it’s on film or not. When you become a sex worker you accept a level of risk, a responsible red coller worker would then try to minimize her risk.

  10. johnny1290 Says:

If testing did anything to protect people in the industry from STDs, would this girl have gotten so many?

  11. the general Says:

Ruby, I understanthat there are performers who would like to be responsible when it comes to health and safety. But as resposible as you may, be it doesnt make any difference when your partner is irresponsible. You have no idea what your partner today was doing yesterday, or who they were doing it with. The only ‘resposible’ way to minimize risk is condoms. Testing does not minimize risk, it merely identifies infection “after” the fact.

That is why I like to use the term “pool” of performers. Imagine all of the perfomers in the Valley in one large swimming pool. Some are in the deep end, others the shallow end, and others holding onto the edge of the pool. While those in the shallow end and those holding onto the edge may feel safe, they are still getting wet with the same water as those in the deep end. And then there are those in the pool who dont even know how to swim.
When someone in the pool gets an std, that std gets into the water, kind of like the kid who pisses in the pool. You may not even realize it but youre now swimming in piss. And that piss can go from the deep end to the safe, resposible shallow end very fast. It doesnt matter that YOU never piss in the pool, if youre in the pool you have been exposed to the piss.

It is unfortunate, but the resposible workers are at the mercy of the irresponsible. You may want to be resposnible, but too many of those in the pool are pissing every day.

The ONLY responsible thing to do is use condoms, and ever gonn/chlam can be transmitted off of the condom and into your body, as well as other std’s.

What do you do Ruby to minimize your risk?

  12. the general Says:

Ruby, let me rephrase my question.
You said,….”a responsible worker is at less risk than a woman who does not have the presense of mind to pay attention to what she is doing.”
First, what constitutes a ‘resposnsible worker?”
Second, How can anyone who has unproteted sex with mutliple partners, who in turn are having unprotected sex with multiple parnters, in a pool that contains needle useres, hookers, gay for pay guys, and others who have no respect at all for any of their fellow workers ever be considered responsible? While the druggies and other ultra risk perfomers may be the monority, they put EVERYONE at their level when they piss in the pool.

  13. Ruby Says:

My point in the first place! I wish the pool wasn’t pissed in in the first place,I was a swinger as well when I was in porn but I always partied with condoms and had regular check ups for everything at Planned Parenthood too, most people will contract some form of an std sometime in their life. Then there’s individual acceptable risk, I have a hell of a sex drive, and an unending capacity for orgasms, so the buisness was right for me at the time, it also was a lot smaller and more intimate. That’s why you saw certain performers working in clicks, we all hung out and had a great time.

  14. the general Says:

That was exactly my point too. If you do not use condoms you are not being responsilbe. There is no middle ground here, you eihter are or you are not. The VAST majority of porn workers are NOT being responsible and that is why there is so much piss in the pool. This industry thrives on girls like Michelle. Its called exploitation, taking advantage of an already weak individual. She was fucked uup when she came to the buisness, and the buisness was waiting with open arms for her and hundreds of of=thers just like her. It happens everyday.

  15. Ruby Says:

Hollywood in general thrives on it, not just porn.

  16. the general Says:

But if you show up in Hollywood at 18 years of age, on drugs, with other mental problems, you dont get anywhee in the mainstream. But if that same 18 year old shows up in San Fernando valley with the same problems she is immedeatly put to work, and the ‘facilitation’ of her problems begins.

  17. the general Says:

C Los, Im reading your post here and Im wondering if we’reading the same story. Everything I see written by(or for) this girl is exactly what you describe. She tells how her life was full of drugs, abuse and bad decisions BEFORE she ever got into porn, and then how those things just got even worse affter SHE made the bad decision to get into the biz. Then after reaching rock bottom she found a way out, via the ‘god’ route. This seems to be right along the same lines that you said you would ‘respect’ someone for writing. I dont see anything in any of her stories where she blames anyone but herself.

  18. elglorioso Says:

C Los you are a fucking loser-douche who pimp your own wife, the mother of your children, Katarina Kat, taking advance that she came from Borat’s country, so shut your mouth idiot.

  19. C Los Says:

To general: I agree with you, I was just writing the short version since I had a feeling it would end with the “now I see the light so I pray for you all” ending.

To elglorioso: I am not much of a “keyboard warrior” such as yourself and I don’t like arguing with people who are “experts” at knowing everything. Hope to meet you in person one day ;-) Maybe I can pimp your wife too…HA! Pendejo!

  20. Ruby Says:

My friend Chloe came in addicted and got sober thru porn until her back surgery fucked it up. She was sober 7 years.

  21. freepornstarpix Says:

    Is she better, Ruby?

  22. the general Says:

Ruby, what you say about the industry being smaller and more intimate in the past is so very true. The sheer number of people involved have increased the risk factor tremendously. And the sheer number of ‘irresponsilbe’ perormers has certainly increased the risk level beyond that ever imagined as short as six or seven years ago.

Its too bad that not more performers have your attitude towards their felow workers. Unfortunately they dont, and thats why the pool is so full of piss these days. Keep yourself healthy, thats all you can do, and if you can educate someone else alongthe way then good for you.

Is that the Chloe who also directed for VCA. If so, she was a gem. Do you know where she is at today? Hope she is well.

  23. Ruby Says:

I talk to her mom occasionally, she’s doing ok but she pulled away from me a long time ago.

  24. elglorioso Says:
