Xcitement: How did you end up working at an adult book store?
 Sara: I went in looking for a Cheyenne Silver movie, which they didn’t have. But what they did have was a help wanted sign. I spent some time talking to the owner who told me the job was easy, mostly cashiering. I got the job and I started my adult adventure stocking shelves and checking out rentals to perverts.


X: That’s a great way to start learning the industry. You get to know all the movies and the stars and what’s in the movies.  S: Exactly and I got to kind of know what I was in for and I have to be honest a lot of the box covers, like for the bukkake movies, made me uncomfortable. I realized the only reason they made me uncomfortable was because they turned me on.


X: Do you remember the first porn you actually sat down and watched?
S: It was a Jenna Jameson comp from Vivid called Jenna, Inc. I really enjoyed it. I might still have it in storage.


X: Can you imagine watching it again now? You would think it’s so tame.
S: You are right. My perspective would change absolutely. I worked at adult shops for about six months and then I started dancing.


X: Where did you dance? In Long Island?
  S: Yes. At Extremes, which was this little DVD novelty store slash gay theater slash couples theater. In the back they had us girls who would do lap dances and what not. That was crazy to come from working at a porno shop to being on the receiving end I guess you could call it. Going from zero to sixty. It was completely on my terms and I knew I was ready for that.Dancing helped me get my sexual confidence and led me into feeling sexy.


X: How did you go from adult store to lap dances to escorting?
S: To be honest with you I was so curious to do lots of things, like perform in front of a man naked and feel his dick get hard. And it turns out I enjoyed it and it was empowering to use my sexuality as a positive force, to not only get bills paid but branch out and consider the possibilities of a real career in the adult industry. Everything was on my terms and I can’t stress that to girls enough. Take your time and keep in on your terms.


X: And then to escorting.
 S: I was very curious and wanted to do it with the legal route. I worked in two pretty well known Nevada brothels. My first experience was at Sherry’s Ranch in 2006.


X: I can’t imagine your first day there, when you are thinking who am I going to go with and what are we going to do.
 S: My first client ever was a paraplegic in a wheelchair and it taught me a lot about sensitivity and caring for others. It was so fitting because this man was so not frightening and he was such a gentlemen. So my first time really set the tone, and he was a sweet man. I thought that was awesome. It was a great experience. It taught me to not judge. That opened my mind a little bit.


X: How long did you work at the brothels?
S: I worked at Sherry’s off an on for a little short of a year. Then I worked at the Wild Horse, where I became good friends with the owner Susan. She used to work as a top earner at a brothel and came to open her own. She later bought the Mustang Ranch. Susan was incredible, she taught us that not only was this serious money, but this could be a serious career.


X: It’s cool that you made it so far having great experiences in adult. So it was part luck and a lot of you.
S: Oh, thank you. I wanted to do porn right away, but I needed to wait until I was in the right place. A lot of my experience is trial and error. I love being on film, and now I am learning all these other avenues like getting on the internet and doing a site. I have so much to learn and look forward too.


X: How did you make the jump from escorting to porn?
S: After I worked at Sherry’s and Wild Horse on and off, I realized I was ready to do porn. I wanted the full throttle…


X: In more ways than one. (Laughs)
S: (Laughs) In more ways than one, this is true. The first time I ever shot for porn I think was March 07 I did two scenes in one day for Naughty America. It was absolutely nuts Cindi. No turning back now.


X: Who was your first partner?
S: It was Jack Venice for “My Sister’s Hot Friend”. They were nice enough to give me the cover. It was a really fun shoot.


X: So you originally did porn as Sarah Vandella. How long was that?
S: About a year and a half. For contract reasons we wanted to pick something different. A fresh start, you know.


X: And you signed with ZT in October 2009 and changed to Sara Sloane.
S: Correct. I felt adamant about keeping Sara (it is her real first name) I am still the same girl. It is important that my fans know that I am consistent and real with them. It’s crazy how time flies. I’m grateful that I am with this amazing company Zero Tolerance that I believe in so strongly.


X: I love how real you are though. A lot of times when girls sign a contract, they change their name to become “new” in porn. But you are the same person with the same back story. Now that you have a contract, it’s understandable that you would change your last name for trademarks, websites, that kind of thing.
S: Of course.


X: I really like that about you.
S: Ah, thank you. I want to hug you. You are so sweet

X: Thank YOU. And you are welcome. I did a cover, interview with your contract sister Kagney Linn Karter, not too long ago. So have you done a sex scene with KLK yet? S: KLK, oh my god, she is so yummy. Yes I have had sex with her, only twice. Once was for Zero Tolerance Chain Gang 2.


X: Did you get to be prisoners?
 S: (laughs) No but I am such a freak, I love stuff like that. I get horny watching Lock Up Raw.


X: I like that stuff too. Isn’t that awful? Women’s prison movies are HOT!
 S: Totally, I agree!


X: I can watch those movies from the 70’s that are so bad, but they are still so hot at the same time. So back to KLK.
 S: The first time I got my hands on that one was for Chain Gang 2, it was me, Sophie Dee and KLK. It was an awesome scene. And the second time I worked with Miss Kagney was for Courtney’s Fantasies and it was me, Kags and Alex Gonz, so it was super hot, great intensity.


X: What is the best sex you have ever had on camera? S: Oh Cindi, wow. Impulsively, instinctively I want to say Jesse Jane when I did a scene for Digital Playground with her and Tommy Gunn. I had the huge-est crush on her. I had bought her porn, I paid full price, well I had my store discount, so almost full price. So when I got a chance to work with her, I was six months new, like a little baby, I didn’t know shit and Jesse just fucking dominated my ass.


X: I was going to say she probably ate you up and spit you out.
S: She did and I loved every minute of it. It was perfect. Recently I had the privilege of working with Gracie Glam for one of our ZT newer movies Porn Star Cribs. That was a girl/girl scene and she is delicious, I couldn’t keep my hands off her. So that was a really hot scene
