3pm- The LA times has just confirmed that the authorities have said, Steve Hill, murder suspect is the same Stephen HIll who was convicted of assault with a weapon in 1998. Hill threatened a teacher at his university. Teacher said he wanted an A on a test. Hill said teacher wanted oral sex.

There are reports of Hill commiting crimes in the past, one being a threat of murder against a former college teacher. There is an email circulating that says he is a former armed forces member with a dishonerable discharge.
Because his name is so common, I can’t confirm or even match up these reports well enough to know if they are true.
