I think it is great that Sammy Glick is a player- hater because it riles up everybody and keeps this board fun. Sammy, I am quite sure I can afford your ‘day rate’ but my thoughts of Not Sammyglick XXX were just that… a thought.

If the Academy Awards can have 10 entries in the best movie category, then it certainly is not a far stretch to see AVN have 15 entrants. Just think how many more adult movies are released each year then mainstream movies. I am having a blast reading all of your comments and I really am looking forward to Vegas in January. BTW: X-Play is hosting a party Friday, Jan 8th in the Venetian’s Palazzo and also co-hosting a HUGE party with IVD following the awards on Saturday, Jan 9th. I am personally inviting you to the party on Friday night and will buy you some drinks so that you have a great time with our sitcums and beautiful girls.

No, our movies may not be as great as some Hollywood productions and you will never see Will Ryder’s name associated with any Hollywood release but you will see one of my ‘other’ names in the credits. In fact you might have already seen it and not realized it.

My guess is “Not married with Children” will win. It does have a broader appeal and Kagney (Kelly Bundy) Karter is certainly more of a typical porn girl “media darling” than any of the cast members from Not the Cosbys. A “Not Married with Children” win helps the AVN awards continue with their boring, predictable and long running established pattern and image.

Not the Cosbys has more potential to become a porn cult classic, which is way better than an AVN win (or any awards outlet win) in my opinion. Some of the feedback I’ve received from fans on the piece has been interesting as people have questioned if the movie is really even considered a “porn” even though it embodies undeniably hardcore elements.

It’ll be interesting to see what wins what this year and who wins what.

I thought he took the name based on the creepy Martin Short character; a wannabe pop culture critic.

But if someone wants to believe that #2 is just the first loser, it helps speak to where they are coming from overall in life more than the movies being discussed. lol
