Clandestine Devices’ Kimberly Faubel Earns Two XBIZ Exec Awards Nominations for 2019

Kimberly Faubel, Clandestine Devices’ Director of Operations, has been honored with two XBIZ Exec Awards nominations representing the retail market for 2019.

Faubel picked up a nomination for WIA Woman of the Year, as well as Community Figure of the Year, for her role in Clandestine Devices’ production and marketing of the wildly-popular MIMIC personal pleasure massager together with the company’s founder, adult industry trailblazer and icon Jules Jordan.

“To be nominated as Community Figure of the Year is absolutely heartwarming… this industry is my life, and has been for nearly 16 years,” said Faubel of the XBIZ honor. “I’ve seen the industry evolve into the community it is today. When I have the opportunity to visit our partners and retailers, it’s quite clear that we are heading in the sex-positive and inclusive direction we should be, so this nomination, in particular, is incredibly rewarding.

“To also be nominated for the WIA Woman of the Year just makes me want to sing and happy-cry. I put my all into my work every single day, and this is how most of us operate. When I talk to my colleagues and fellow vendors, we all notice similarities in how we operate; always available, ready for the next trip, never off the clock.
