As for “honesty and truth”, here’s just a small list of his lies:
1. Upon inaguration, Obuma promised to close Guantanamo. Instead he kept it open and expanded it’s use.
2. After campaigning to protect Habeas Corpus before he was elected, Obuma promised not to sign the National Defense Authorization Act, with its provisions for the indefinite detention of American citizens, yet put his signature on the bill in the dead of night on one New Year’s Eve while the nation was paying no attention.
3. Obuma has lied time and time again about Operation Fast and Furious, the program which saw guns delivered directly into the hands of Mexican drug lords. Obuma told a national television station that the program had begun under Bush when in fact it began under Obama’s watch in October 2009.
4. In 2008, Obuma promised “no more illegal wiretapping of American citizens.” Just months after he took office, Obuma expanded Bush’s warrantless wiretapping program. The invasiveness of illegal wiretapping is worse under Obuma than it was under Bush.
5. Before the passage of Obumacare, Obuma claimed that the bill was “absolutely not a tax increase” on all Americans. When the Supreme Court rubber-stamped Obamacare, they were only able to do so by classifying the new mandate as a tax, otherwise it would have been unconstitutional.
6. The White house was forced to admit that they had lied when they said Obuma and crew were watching a live feed of the killing of Osama Bin Laden. Of course they hadn’t watched it live. The whole thing was a hoax.
7. Even David Letterman pointed out that Obuma was “taking liberties” with the truth regarding claiming that an op/ed by Romney about the auto industry had him claim “Let ’em go bankrupt”.
8. “In Egypt we stood on the side of democracy. In Libya we stood on the side of the people. And as a consequence there is no doubt that attitudes about Americans have changed,” Obuma said. In actuality, in Egypt, only 19% view U.S. favorably, down 3 points since ’08.
