“Pirate Site” Taken Down/ Paypal Proof/Manwin Fights Piracy

According to the Adult Content Industry United Foundation, they have closed down another pirating site-

from http://www.aciuf.org/index.php/home Last week, pirate site Shiangworld.com was closed by Godaddy on pressures that we made. The site contained stolen materials from our clients and there was no way in getting in touch with the administrator of the website.

This site also makes some bold claims about Paypal-

PayPal is one of the favorite payment processor for File Locker Sites. There are lots of file locker that reward uploaders with considerable incentive for copyrighted material, pirate software and illegal pornography. Though PayPal’s internal policy states that processing for pornographic websites is forbidden, there is proof that they close their eyes and act like nothing illegal is going on.

But probably one of the most interesting things of recent news is that this site is happy to announce that MANWIN is a big supporter of their work-

The Adult Content Industry United Foundation (ACIUF) is happy to announce Manwin’s support in the ACIUF fight against piracy, and illegal filehosting. With no other expectation than achieving the objectives, Manwin has made a standing donation that will help cover the operational cost.

Siep Kuppens, President of the ACIUF, stated: “In the open and constructive negotiations, Manwin did not call for immunity, and was even reluctant to receive publicity about this. Concerning this last issue, we decided to give Manwin the credits it deserves. We are very grateful to the companies that already support us, and are happy to move forward with this new backing.”

Though recognizing that some consider this unification controversial, the organization believes that those who understand the importance of this fight, will agree with the motives behind the move.

The main goal of the ACIUF is to kill piracy in all its forms of existence. In addition, the organization works to create awareness, while also targeting hosting companies, and billing processors that are part of the system that support piracy.

Kuppens adds: “With this new added support, the ACIUF is definitely on the map, and we expect more companies to join now that we have shown we have the power to move. This fight can be won (ask oron), but we need to join forces.”

Glad to see that Manwin is here to help us win the fight against porn piracy, aren’t you?  😉

  1. Anyone who believes Fabian is doing any thing other than helping to eliminate his competition is a MORON.

Manwin are the biggest content thieves on the internet

  2. Larry Horse

Is Fabian as big a content thief as Mark Curtis/Mark Carriere? Of course in the old days Mark would have made sure Fabian went back to Germany kind of like Little Bill did with English Bob in Unforgiven.

And I can’t beileve people want to do business with them. Amazing. They keep stealing everybody elses stuff and it’s biz as usual.

  4. RickMadrid

Yep!! Maybe be able to sell there companies for…like $500,000 buy the time it deteriates to “nothing” but foreclousers and Bankrupt properties and empty warehouses, and laid off employees. YEP!! looks like brighter times are ahead.

Amazing, Ricktard, that you can actually appear more stupid by the day. Did you make it past the 8th grade? Just go back over your comments and make a list of the spelling errors (hint: there’s a little red dotted line under every one as you type it). Good thing you have that bukkake mope job to fall back on, because I can’t imagine any other placement for you that doesn’t involve a paper hat, or a shovel. What a serious fucking idiot you are.

You hate L.A. because you FAILED there. Then you made empty—and illegal—death threats like a bitch, and had to flee the state. I’m sure you have priors, so to show your little brown face back here spells jail for you, and a beatdown in there. Nice going. Latin pride alla way, pinche hoto. You make conservatives look very good, although you couldn’t define that term if one put a gun to your head… hey, not a bad idea!

For what it’s worth, California law does not exempt traditional television and movie studios from workers comp, and contract employees are covered.

  8. Third Axis

Right you are @bobt03. The entertainment industry is no different than any other business in the state of California. Any employer, even if it has a single employee, must provide workers’ comp insurance (sole owners without employees are generally exempted). That’s the law, and stiff penalties apply for failure to comply. Of course, here we get into that old argument over independent contractors vs. contracted employees, as that relates to workers in porn. In my view, this debate leaves little wiggle room for porn producers who attempt to fall back on the indy contractor escape clause.

Legally defined, “independent contractors” provide a service pursuant to a contract (whether written or unwritten) without the direction of the person paying the bill (the employer). An independent contractor controls how the service is provided, who provides it, and the method of accomplishing it. The key is that the independent contractor acts independently, free of direction and control of the hiring company (employer). Porn performers do indeed work under direction and are controlled in virtually every aspect of their job, so to term them indy contractors is clearly incorrect.

All that being said, labor law, at least in CA, is very loosely overseen and rarely leads to prosecution of employers. Labor control in general has gone to hell, in part due to the worsening economy, the clout that corporate management has in the state legislature (lots of lobbying cash), and just plain lax enforcement of the laws. Don’t expect this to change any time soon, and I doubt seriously that the clipboards will be showing up on the sets of Porn Valley to any shocking degree.

I love California! I get away with so much when I’m over there!. Just pay off some official’s like they do at the LA County Assseor’s office and have your taxes lowered for years to come. We love L.A!!!!

No idea how things work in California, since every state is different. In the Northeastern state where I live, employers are required to take independent contractors into consideration when reporting wages and number of workers unless the independent contractor has their own workers comp and liability insurance. If an independent contractor is hurt on the job at my place of business and they don’t have their own insurance, I’m responsible.

Bingo! Pinche Donkey Boy is back… on every single fucking thread. Saying nothing, as usual. Go back to Mexico, hoto.
