Lindsay Lohan may have trouble steering, but she seems to be back in the driver’s seat as far as her career goes.

Lohan, who is currently filming the Elizabeth Taylor biopic "Liz and Dick" for Lifetime, is slated to star opposite porn actor James Deen in a contemporary thriller titled "The Canyons," Indiewire reports.

The actress was briefly hospitalized after a serious collision with an 18-wheeler Friday, but reportedly sustained only minor injuries that will not prevent her from continuing her comeback from a career derailed by legal issues.

"The Canyons" centers on "five twentysomethings’ quest for power, love, sex and success in 2012 Hollywood," according to the film’s screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis, who also wrote "American Psycho."

"I am beyond thrilled that James Deen and Lindsay Lohan will be playing the parts of Christian and Tara in THE CANYONS by BEE," Ellis wrote on Twitter Tuesday. "Could not have dreamed of a better cast. Lindsay nailed it…."

Deen will reportedly play Christian, a "trust fund kid, power player and major manipulator, who is a film producer that enjoys filming his own three-way sex sessions," while Lohan will play Tara, his girlfriend/former model, who "has sold her pride for the material comforts Christian can provide."

"The Canyons" is set to begin shooting July 9 in Los Angeles and is expected to run until the end of the month.

The film recently got funded through a Kickstarter initiative, and will get a video-on-demand release sometime in the future.

Sorry to say but porn is all about the girl in front of the camera and the overwhelming vast majority of fans are also straight males.

We tend not to notice the male talent unless they are annoying or they think the shoot is all about them (and we hate male talent like that).
