So Cindi, which ones were you “disappointed in”? By and large, most of the wins are understandable (and justifiable for the naysayers out there). Don’t leave us hanging. 🙂 NL- My BIGGEST disappointment is the tranny of the year award which in my opinion should have gone to Amy Daly. And if it didn’t go to Amy, there were several other valid contenders including my friend Wendy Williams. I have nothing against Bailey Jay, as a matter of fact I may have voted for her to win, LAST YEAR! But I have seen just about NOTHING from Bailey this year, and she wins best tranny award? Not happy about that.

Porn award shows are already rigged. Porn doesn’t make great movies any more. Its just mediocre parody and gonzo scenes. The whole reason for all the endless porn award shows (or trade conventions) is to be used as a marketing tool to try and drum up more $$$.
So pretty much everyone who showed up received an award?
Jet, if you compare the voluminous nomination list to the winning list, you’ll find a lot of people/companies did not win (and yes, some that won little or only marginally, were big advertisers from what I’ve been told).
Cindi, in a category like TS, maybe especially so, I suspect the people best versed in the bodies of work to vote are going to rely heavily on a few key performances rather than quantity. From what George and others tell me, Mia Isabella or Aly Sinclaire might have been better picks (something about diversity of companies with an emphasis on Evil Angel titles?!?).
I don’t think there’s enough awards for all that fuss.. I can think of a couple more..
