2. I have a GREAT relationship with them now.
3. I dont blame them for my shortcomings and life choices.
4. I see them several times a year and speak to them probably three times a week.
And…Im not a minister of the Gospel who preaches love to the world but doesnt practice things like forgiveness, compassion, mercy, acceptance, understanding with her own family.

What do you need from your family for that to happen? Let me guess, “TRULY REPENT” and “SUPPORT PINK CROSS”? If somone apologizes to you, asks forgiveness and takes steps to have a relationship with you then the obligation is on you. I’ve lost count of how many times our parents have apologized to you for stuff they never did to begin with.

To create some balance here, Lubben’s organization may have unknowingly done a good thing by providing Corina Taylor with a platform to relate her experiences in regards to her controversial anal scene back in 2003 or 2004 for Vince Vouyer’s company Vouyer media.
The details as to her encounter with his business practices correlate in many ways with my experience with his studio and that needed to be brought to light. I wrote a blog about it on gettingintoporn.blogspot.com
Though many (including myself) have a problem with Lubben personally – when it comes to Corina’s experience – if it were not for Lubben posting Corina’s story on her site, I never would have realized that I wasn’t the only one who was treated unprofessionally by Vouyer being that her experience occurred about 5 years prior to my entry into the porn circuit.
I gained some closure with that – which is exactly why there has to be someone, somewhere for women to turn to in order to relate their experiences free of intimidation and fear.
I suggested today to Nica Noelle that the APA should set up a complaint line complete with someone fairly neutral to investigate the cases and situations reported. You can’t have an industry of any sort without some sort of an auditing system.

Corina’s “Lubben post” matches up with the AdultFYI articles / interviews in regards to Vouyer back from 2004 – I don’t think she was “coached” by Lubben at that point. Lubben’s piece just provided a starting point for further research into the issue in my view and it connected some dots.
The question is, why does a supposed “legit” industry continue to support someone within it who regularly practices “asshole tactics”. If his behavior is known, why do the adult media venues continue to promote his studio as well if they’re aware that he is potentially damaging HUMAN BEINGS physically and/or psychologically (with the INTENT of doing so). Is he REALLY funneling THAT MUCH MONEY back into the circulation pool for that to be tolerated (oops – might not want to answer that question now…)
