Cindi has omitted one of the most *interesting* email exchanges, from December 19, 2010:
Fattorosi writes to the Donkey: “they are slamming Josh Lehmen a/k/a Mr Teagan and Skinworxxx… They are clients and personal friends. . . . I need you to leave them alone. Seriously. I get called with requests from a lot people but I dont bother to contact you unless they are clients and friends. Can you just leave them off your hit list? And I will warn him and her to not start anything with you.”
If Michael Fattorosi’s goal was to make the adult industry trust him as an attorney, he has done EVERYTHING wrong: from appearing to be buddy-buddy with people like the Donkey, to going on and on about how adult producers are employers, to dating talent, etc…
What strikes me most about the emails excerpted above is how so many people on the fringes of the adult industry — like Fattorosi or Shelley Lubben — seemingly demonstrate utter contempt for the people they claim to support.
The second thing that strikes me is the timing.
The earliest emails published today between Fattorosi and the Donkey are from mid to late December 2010. On December 29th, 2257Safe tweeted this: “Special offer for pornstars & solo girls -> http://www.2257Safe.com for $9.99 a month -> Keep your address & name off the internet !!”
The timing is odd, isn’t it? As Lt. Aldo Raine would say, “We got a word for that kinda odd in English. It’s called suspicious.”
And for the record, in my opinion and based upon my experience, any attorney with a small boutique practice like his is NOT going to turn away business in the manner he describes. He is not some big-dick playa. His claim “I have no interest in getting involved with trying to take this battle on” in my opinion, sounds more like someone giving a calming reassurance to his buddy than a statement of fact. In fact, much of the emails sound to me like a “telegraphed” communication between two people who are in on the joke (albeit, done with great clumsiness):

One of the points of being an attorney is taking on worthwhile cases pro bono. One would have thought someone who wants his practice to be known as PornLaw or AdultBizLaw would understand the value of protecting and promoting that community.

Why is ChristianX still working in the industry after all the things he has done to other female performers. I’ve said it before and will say it again, if PWL had only been about some of the issues that they claimed caused it’s formation (before it was porn wikileaks, the url was derekandrewhay.com) and not strayed into the sewer that eventually became I have no doubt that it would still be up and running and would have a lot of public support.
A lot of people including Mike South, Michael Whitacre, and Mark Speigler have expressed concerns with using crossover talent that work with untested male performers then work with female performers. Derek Hay has done a lot of damage to the industry and to a lot of female talent personally. It would be nice to see someone expose those abuses, hopefully Mike South or someone similar will do that someday.
There is so much hypocrisy surrounding Derek Hay. He sends out emails to fellow agents telling them not to book their talent with current crossover talent yet does it regularly with his own models for two large gay male oriented studios. The same goes for Shy Love who booked one of her male performers to do a scene with Bang Bros, yet had shot a M/M scene just 48 hours before shooting the straight scene, which angered two well established female performers in the biz. They guy also had a escort ad on a M/M hooker site. There is universal condemnation of female performers who bareback with their male johns, do you not think that the male talent that escort with other men aren’t doing the same for a few extra bucks?
Patient Zeta could have been a golden opportunity to have seriously addressed some of those issues, but instead things don’t appear to have changed and it’s business as usual.
Christian your family didn’t deserve the attacks that were levied at them on PWL, but the criticisms and discussions of you and your practices as far as the industry goes are warranted and needed. As are with anyone who may have harassed, threatened, stalked, intimidated, or put any person in the industry at risk.

Like it or not Christian it’s all about the women in the straight adult industry and all of them have no lists as far as who they will or won’t work with. I have yet to see any other male performer harass female talent that won’t work with them. As much as you appear to want it to be, it’s not about you or any other male performer in porn it’s about the girl and accommodating her needs and parameters.
The fact that none of the studios lifted a finger to help bring down PWL should never be forgotten, I think your comment on XPT is probably inline with what Derek Hay and many others who make far more $$$ off the bodies of these performers then the performers will ever see in their life time. Plus none of them will ever face a fraction of the stigma that many of these performers do when they leave the industry.
