AIM Medical Associates, P.C. is investigating the possibility of a criminal breach of the medical record database. Substantial amounts of information posted on the site in question could not come from the AIM* database because we do not possess that information. Specifically, home addresses and identification documents are not within the AIM* database. Other testing businesses may or may not have such information on their databases.
AIM is utilizing every available resource to conduct a thorough forensic investigation to confirm if a breach of security occurred here. If such a breach occurred, we shall take all available steps to see that the felonious behavior is criminally prosecuted to the maximum extent under the law. Accessing a database for improper purposes, violating medical privacy and extortion are all crimes in California. There is preliminary information indicating that criminal behavior by persons or entities may have occurred.
In any case, the malicious nature of the site cannot be overstated. It is reprehensible that the site characterizes all adult actresses as "whores," and refers to some women as "baby killers." It is gratifying that the website has been largely unavailable at least over the past few days. We hope the hosting company removes this scurrilous site altogether.
Thats a good 1st step in admitting something is going on. However saying they can’t be at fault because they don’t have the talents home addresse’s in their database is not right either.
Get someone’s real name and either their DOB or SSN and very quickly you can have everything else about them such as home address, family members, etc… I’m guessing AIM had both the DOB and SSN or other info such as their contact phone numbers maybe?
Btw, the only way to read AIM’s statement here is to do the copy part of copy/paste (highlight it in blue)… otherwise the photo of Hillary laughing seems to have new meaning…
AIM’s database didn’t hold the performers addresses, etc. However, once a performer’s real name and birthdate WERE EXTRACTED FROM AIM’s database the people on “that site” went to http://www.intelius.com (or a similar site) and used the real names and birthdates to get the performers addresses, the performers phone numbers, their relatives’ names, their relatives’ addresses and their relatives’ phone numbers … and so on.

Have you ever had, or do you now have an AIM password? If AIM is now a private corp. are they still accepting donations for passwords? What kind of ‘contract’ do you sign when you get a password? Of course any contract would probably have something about keeping everything ocnfidential, which itself would be a joke.
Funny how AIM will fight tooth and nail to prevent anyone like OSHA getting a real name, but they hand out passwords to people who end up doing this. Every time I hear AIM use the word ‘confidentiality’ it makes me laugh. Sell passwords to porn producers, directors and agents, and then call it a security breach. Who do they think they are kidding?
And now all of these porn people who use the system are blaming the same system for this fiasco. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW. Only in porn. Performers sign these waivers that arent worth the paper they are written on, and are surprised that this info ends up in the wrong hands.
Mark how do you know that the names WERE EXTRACTED FROM AIMS DATABASE? And what about the information on performers who never tested at AIM being up there, and some performers who did test AIM arent up there? And since alot of these posts include ID photos, couldnt it just as likely been oneof these big 2257 document companies where the info came from, companies that do keep addresses and phone numbers and electronic copeis of photo id’s?
