Shelley Loves You Ann & is Shocked at your Leaving Pink Cross

picture from the convention on Thursday

Shelley writes me- Truly, I am in shock she did this and it absolutely broke my heart. We were very close for a couple of months. I only saw her for ten minutes at the convention and next thing I know she and her husband are gone. I know she enjoyed Thursday as she sent me a picture of her happy and smiling at the convention. I really love her and she is the last person I thought would ever do this. I’ve had Ann in my home around my children. She spent the night and we took care of her. She helped us with Christmas porn star outreach and had such a great time with the other former porn actresses. We encouraged her, prayed for her and reached out to her with love and supplies and I think her going to the convention was really hard on her and maybe she is taking it out on me. I don’t know. She wouldn’t be the first girl. It’s always painful when women do this to me.  I really love Ann. I do know her mother in law died right before the convention and so I am sure her grief along with the stress of facing her past at the porn convention was very hard. I heard she also talked to Bill Marigold and he was absolutely horrible and said something to the effect she deserved AIDS. If I had been there I would have stopped that abusive language toward her immediately.

Anyway, I truly gave my best to Ann. I have no idea who told her she could not smoke marijuana. I have never said that to her or any porn star. Especially to someone who has AIDS and is suffering and has a marijuana medical card. I tried to call her and ask her what happened but she won’t talk to me. So I still have no idea why she changed her mind about me and Pink Cross other than she doesn’t like that I walk with some of my team members into the convention. We always walk together in the conventions and hotels. And why she would blast me publicly without first talking to me, I do not understand.

I love you Ann. I am sorry you hurt. I am sorry if Pink Cross hurt you in any way. I’m sorry that HIV is such a terrible thing to live with. I prayed for Ann frequently over the phone and she told me all the time how it helped her not to vomit every day. We exchanged emails almost every day for a couple of months where she shared tons of information about the porn industry and how horrible it was to her, including names of those who hurt her. I won’t repeat the names she told me but I know Ann will be reading this and I want her to really think about her actions. I  don’t understand how she could change her mind about Pink Cross and me but I trust God will work all things out.

Pink Cross and I really love you Ann. No matter what.

Shelley Lubben

Wow. Very strange. “What we have here is a failure to communicate”. And what the hell did sociopathic counselor Bill Margold say this time? She “deserved” it?

  2. Shelley, thank you for repeatedly taking the risk to reach out and offer love to people. It’s a courageous and beautiful thing you do. Love never fails.

  3. ALL of us who were at the convention were shocked. Ann was a very dear friend of ours, and we all love her. I wish that she had come and talked to one of us on the team about her feelings before just up and leaving the convention. I am sure we could have resolved whatever it was that she felt so hurt by.

I know that Shelley loved Ann very very much and did everything she could to encourage her, and was a great friend to her. She held Ann in very high esteem and was always commenting on how courageous and smart she was. She was included in many things regarding Pink Cross, so I just find it odd that us walking in as a group would bother her to the point of public slander.

Shelley is very heartbroken over the whole thing, although as she has already said, this isn’t the first time this sort of thing has happened.

  4. Julie Meadows says:

Right… I believe anything Shelley says.

Lubben’s latest video mocks women who smoke marijuana cigarettes. It’s the latest post on my blog. And don’t forget to check out Lubben’s crazy banter at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrJAh1v3peg

Mocking people who smoke marijuana, along with statements like, “There is no woman in the sex industry who will not face consequences for her actions,” proves where her heart is. It’s still black and it’s obvious she still only cares about herself. I can’t wait to see people’s reactions to the postcard she handed out at the UCLA panel discussion on condoms. So the adult industry is just deciding to now show up to discussions? That’s what you’re selling people on now? When they weren’t even invited, THEY SHOWED UP.

  5. jeremysteele11 says:

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was something Bill Margold said to her after he told her she deserves to have AIDS.. either that or Rabbi Luke converted her to Judaism.

Btw, I saw some more AIDS propaganda on Anderson Cooper on CNN. Sickening… It sounds like they got CNN working for them too.

  6. Just a thought, but it’s something I’ve noticed in many of Lubben’s statements / blogs.

She’s big on “naming names” and encouraging other women who she “rescues” and convinces to join the Pink Cross to “name names”.

There’s a certain poster who has been consistently attempting to bait me on XPT to name names. There’s consistency in the writing styles of that poster and Lubben’s writing style.

All I’m going to say is I really hope that Lubben isn’t who I think she might be under an alias on XPT because that in itself would be beyond obsessive.

Lots of truths are coming out – enjoyed the latest video Julie and Michael.

  7. This ugly fat chick was a “porn star”?!?!?! Can we please not label every pig that happens to be fucked on video a porn star. She was never a star.

  8. Per Ann on Facebook: she not only felt but was exploited by the Pink Cross team at the convention and found Shelley’s use of an entourage, security, and media crew rather offputting.

A member of Shelley’s team remarked that Ann’s use of medicinal marijuana wasn’t on par with PC’s image. Bill Margold told Ann that if she tried drugs prior to porn, she was destined to have AIDS.

Ann has since the convention repeatedly asked Shelley to stay off of her FB page, remove her from PC’s website, and refrain from discussing her in other media outlets. As evidenced by the above missive, A) Shelley isn’t respecting Ann’s wishes and B) exploitation continues.

Ann’s not a freak for display in Shelley’s media circus; she is a human being who has been through things that the rest of us can’t and likely wouldn’t want to imagine. Judge not lest ye be judged and don’t use that judgement to promote your organization, book, and self.

I thought when I left the Pink Cross most of this would be over. I think this was for personal gain myself. I tried to tell her my needs when she entered the first day of the convention. we are and are not for shock value. OOH, they have aids. WE are not to stand in line to scare the hell out of people regardless of what their religious beliefs are. I am not going to explain myself. I am no longer affiliated with the PINK CROSS or any group that wants to end all of pornography. I sure have gained some weight. But there is no denying porn was a great part of my life for many years. I do not wish anyone harm. I just don’t want to be something I am not. And after a long talk with my Jewish husband, we have decided no one can exploit my personal or religious beliefs either in order to continue to persecute the porn industry. Sure my situation wasnt the best, but before that one terrible movie where I contracted hiv, I loved what I was doing very much. I just think performers should be regarded as important too. And I hope that if anyone gets hiv on the workplace in the future. Just a dream but I think it is nice one. I am married now and have nothing to say but we are not mentors we are people, and my husband who are making a life after hiv. If someone cared to ask me more, they would see, that I really have a lot of love for the industry still. And to have someone scare the playboy channel off my tv…well it’s not going to happen EVER again. That is from my husband. love, ann marie aka brooke ashley

  10. brookeashley says:

Sorry some typos, just hope if anyone ever does contract hiv on the workplace they too will be entitled to workmans comp as i have been. You have given your life to be a porn star, why wouldnt that be your occupation? just a thought.

  11. brookeashley says:

and yes this fat chick was once a pornstar. next question…

  12. Shelley, if you truly love Ann, why write: “We exchanged emails almost every day for a couple of months where she shared tons of information about the porn industry and how horrible it was to her, including names of those who hurt her. I won’t repeat the names she told me but I know Ann will be reading this and I want her to really think about her actions.”

    Is emotional blackmail your intent?

Per your lack of mental health counselor, therapist, or social worker licensing, I ask you to kindly note the blatant betrayal of trust, emotional intimacy, and respect in your missive. Hence, exploitation.

Perhaps all involved with Pink Cross should sign confidentiality statements; not on Shelley’s behalf but for their own.

  13. brookeashley says:

shelley lubben i will say this one time, and one time only remove all my stuff from your site, my court case any quotes, etc you do not have my permission to use them, i will be contacting someone when my lawyers office reopens on tuesday. You are expoiting me worse than porn ever could. Stay away from me and my family.

  14. Is Pink Cross the new Jonestown? Shelley certainly has the Rev. Jim Jones mentality down to a science: embrace followers, villify defectors, destroy free thinkers.

A word to the wise, don’t stick around for drinks.

    I’ll shut up. For now.

  15. momn8rx….I have been working with Shelley for 3 years, and I have never felt exploited by her — neither have hundreds of women that she has reached out to, helped, and encouraged.

Bottom line — if Ann felt “exploited” then she should have come to Shelley or someone else on the team and aired her grievances. I just find it odd that she didn’t feel “exploited” until the Saturday of the convention — or at least she never indicated it. She was fine up until that day.

All I know is that Shelley loved her like a sister, and is very sad at this whole thing, as are the rest of us.

  16. That you haven’t felt exploited by Shelley is your story; that Ann feels exploited is her story. Ann is entitled to her feelings and has the right to express them.

Saying she “should have done this/that/whatever” devalues her. We all handle things differently; some act immediately while others turn to Oprah 10, 20 years after the fact to finally reveal the root of grudges, feuds, et al.

Likewise, when someone asks to be left alone: respect that. The harm isn’t in backing off and giving another person their space, it lies in addressing a private matter in an extremely public setting.

Just as you say Ann should’ve approached a PC team member to discuss problems, does she not deserve the same courtesy?

  17. Michael Whiteacre says:

Joshua fit the battle of Jericho
And the walls came a-tumbling down

  18. Michael Whiteacre says:

I also notice that Bill Margold’s statement, as given above, is strikingly different than how Shelley portrayed it.

  19. Momn8rx,
I did as Ann asked and took down all of the videos and left her alone. She came out publicly on Lukeisback and brought it into the public light. So I addressed it because a lot of people I care about in the porn business will be reading it and may lose trust in me and Pink Cross.

But I tried to do it with as much tact as possible. Ann knows I could have mentioned so much more but I choose to love her through this.

I really do love you all. I know some of you hate me and Pink Cross but you can’t ever deny we have given our ALL to reaching out to you while at the same time standing up against the harms and lies of porn.

No other group of people has ever loved you more.

Do any of you have any idea of the sacrifice and suffering we go through for you? Don’t let the creativity blind you. The creativity, energy and intelligence you see on me and Pink Cross is the Holy Spirit.

But we are a group of broken people who allow God to continue to crush us so we can be rid of our selfishness and learn to love you even more.

We’re still learning but we truly are giving our all for you.

    I love you.

“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13

  20. This whole thing absolutely breaks my heart. Shelley has nothing but love and respect for all the women and men she helps in public and the so many that come to her in secret. I talked many, many times with Ann and she always had such sweet things to say about Shelley, such as the care she provided to her and how she opened up her home to her and how much she loves her. Offenses can sometimes build up easily, especially when you are sharing the truth in such a controversial arena and people do not want to hear it. I feel the convention and all of the confrontation Ann received was too much for her to tolerate. The whole team prayed for Ann daily and tried our hardest to tend to her needs in any way shape or form. I saw the heartache in Shelley’s eyes over this, Ann is not the first woman who Shelley has consistently been there for who has sadly turned against her. Think what you will on the matter the truth is such travesties ONLY transpire because Shelley wants more for these men and women than they see for themselves, and a life free of all addictions.

Shelley helped me in 2007 and so many others since; she only receives negative feedback because people refuse to see the truth behind the fantasy of porn. Shelley and The Pink Cross are here to help heal, not hurt or condemn. I have never once felt degraded, exploited or abandoned by Shelley and I proudly volunteer my time to her in order to help spread the truth. We all love Ann and will continue to lift her up in prayer.

  21. brookeashley says:

and shelley lubben and anyone else you do not have my permission to use these pictures at all. especially to slander me.

  22. Wow, This is very shocking to hear! I have personally met Ann myself and am very sad about all of this. But I do sincerely wish you Ann the best and know that the PINK CROSS does love you girl. I am also, a former porn actress and cannot believe any of this all PINK CROSS and Shelly showed was love and support to her and loves everyone…..

  23. Michael Whiteacre says:

Listen to the sick, passive-aggressive emotional blackmail tactics of St. Shelley:

“Ann knows I could have mentioned so much more but I choose to love her through this.”

It reminds me of what she wrote to Taryn Thomas in 2007, after Taryn told her to fuck right off:

“Taryn, You are lying. I am being very nice not mentioning things about you publicly because I respect you. But I know quite a bit about you. More than you can imagine. Are you sure you’ve never done drugs on the set? Hmmmmm.”

    Christian woman? My ass.

And now, by mentioning her love for Ann Marie and the women — the sheep — she still maintains in her ragtag flock, she equates herself with Christ: “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13

Small world… In the 2nd photo down, far left, Ashley Brookes is standing next to Brooke Ashley.

  25. max softcore says:

why did brooke ashley hook up with this dingbat in the first place?
Oh and nothing happens after we die….

  26. Okay, here goes…
Ann? I love you and wish you the best always!!! Ih8u? You should be banned from this place. Julie? Great video (and I love you too)!!! I hope everyone who is reading this forum watches it. Very enlightening!!!
Now as far as Bill Margold? Someone needs to pop him in the nose and say he deserved it for being an asshole for soooo damned long.
Oh, and Shelly? Yup, you’re definitely blackmailing her. And that video? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!! Classic! I’m going to have to save it before you figure out how to have it removed!!!

  27. jeremysteele11 says:

    Momn8rx said:

“Bill Margold told Ann that if she tried drugs prior to porn, she was destined to have AIDS.”

If its true that Bill Margold said Brooke was likely to have AIDS because she did drugs, I find that interesting in lieu of the official story being that HIV is what causes AIDS, no ifs ands, butts or any other variables or co-factors about it. Even though I’m certainly no fan of Bill’s I can see him saying that based on other things he’s said about AIDS. Since HIV tests test for antibodies and a detectable antibody response on HIV tests can be due to drugs, themselves… one should follow the leads… if tests which by the manufacturers’ own declaration are guides to help find and not indicators of any specific disease or virus, then… (you tell me)

  28. jeremysteele11 says:

Btw, I find that billboard at a porn convention amusing to think about from the average roaming fans’ perspective. Most probably won’t read it at all, as they’re busy looking at tits and ass, etc., but if they happen to read it, I’d imagine there response might be something like:

36 porn stars died in 4 years from suicide, homicide drugs & AIDS… that’s it? Not bad considering the countless thousands who come and go.

Over 100 died of AIDS? How does this compare to the general population? How many were gay?, etc…

What percentage have what? How does that percentage compare to the general population?…

Nevermind. Hey, (looking at more tits and ass at the convention) I know that chick!

  29. @Michael,
Hey I saw one of your videos about Shelley got two more hits in the last week, bringing it up to 357 total views. And one of Julies got THREE more hits.
At this rate it will take one hundred years for your videos to be upgraded from epic failure to irrelevant. Wow, youre really showing ‘the world!’
Oh wait, one of those hits was mine. Make that two hundred years.

  30. @Shelley,
Do you have any idea of the sacrifice and suffering that we go through for you?”

When Jesus heard this he looked at him/her and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said, “Go sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. THEN come follow me. At this the man’s face fell. He went away sad because he had great wealth. (Mark 10:22)

  31. Michael Whiteacre says:

@joe know – It’s not the numbers, it’s who’s listening. You’d be surprised who’s written me in just the last week.

I’d rather be right than popular.

And, as always, you can tongue my bung.

    Cordially,

    MW

  32. brookeashley says:

Shelley Lubben before you slander me one more minute let’s talk about your album that I have not opened and never will truth behind the fantasy of porn. it may be fantasy to you, but when people try to tell you their true stories you write what you choose. oh, and if someone on your team” who got busted at lax for weed who recorded your album with you. He denies being busted for weed at all. and here is a refresher shelley, he is a reverend. why the heck can your associates that are not poz like him smoke weed, but an hiv/aids patient who is co-infected can not and she(I) have a card. does it make sense or would you call yourself a bigot?

  33. brookeashley says:

and you do this in the name of jesus shelley? please. save it…i will go to church on my own at glide. and I will believe the way i chose to believe, you said yourself you don’t even attend church. you don’t need to congregate with others you know it all? wow, impressive.

  34. So tell us Michael, who’s listening? Surpise me Michael, who is writing you?

Spin it how you want Michael, 365 total view speaks for itself.

And if the line of boys wasnt so long to toungue your bung maybe I would.

  35. brookeashley says:

LETS be more specific shelley too. I dont care who on your team does not like me, i have been not liked before. I will get over it. You set up people in the biz or talk about it well. and I dont want to be a part of that. I thought it was odd you were happily wearing your fbi shirt at the outreach.. but then again,…was it?

  36. brookeashley says:

hard to tell you wanted it known to all the girls at the outreach that you had changed to your fbi shirt, but you cover your hair with it anyway. what a trip. i am still tripping on you and your comments tonight so i am leaving you with yours for morning. kurtis blow walker, combs whatever is busted at lax before he records the song with you in tennessee. Now how do you continue to work with Kurtis but I was not allowed back into the convention with a pink cross shirt on i supposed it could have been medical, but he denies it ever happened. wow. so who really lies? and lies to their ministry…

  37. brookeashley says:

My son has personally asked me on facebook not to say anything further regarding shelley lubben and to pray for her. I will listen to my 18 year old, who is wise beyond his years…

  38. Ann, kudos for daring speak out when things didn’t add up and something didn’t feel right, for breaking the chain of command and deciding what was best for YOU, not Shelly Lubben’s agenda. And thank you for confirming the fraudulence of the “ex pornstar testimonials” on her website that she writes herself, something that’s been obvious for a long time since they all sound the same and hit the same talking points – that every pornstar was molested or raped, forced to do drugs on porn sets and then raped again, yada yada. Those stories would have much more impact if they were written by the so-called victims themselves and allowed to breathe and not propagandized.

The “idea” of helping down and out ex adult performers, or “protecting” current ones, on its own, is a noble one. And maybe she even started out with honest intentions. But all that has become secondary as Shelly has perverted that premise into a frenzied vanity project, a whirlwind everyone must become caught up in with books and rap albums and TV and radio apperances and entourages and video cameras and jesus and tax exempt status.

Here’s what I know, a true Samaritan helps others quietly, without the need for oaths of allegiance and uniforms and fanfare and getting caught up in their own moment. And a false friend is worse than an enemy, because you’ve given them access. A true friend would never threaten to “expose your darkest secrets” when you disagree with them. That’s not a friend.

Stay strong and stay positive and don’t spend any more precious energy thinking about her. Eventually the law or the government will come knocking at her door, and the game will be over.

  39. Michael Whiteacre says:

@Mark_J — I second every one of your thoughts posted here.

I think Robert Jay Lifton’s Eight Point Model of Thought Reform may sound familiar to those who examine the Lubbenites:

    1. ENVIRONMENT “Milieu” CONTROL. Limitation of many/all forms of communication with those outside the group. Books, magazines, letters and visits with friends and family are taboo. “Come out and be separate!”

    2. MYSTICAL MANIPULATION. The potential convert to the group becomes convinced of the higher purpose and special calling of the group through a profound encounter / experience, for example, through an alleged miracle or prophetic word of those in the group.

3. DEMAND FOR PURITY. An explicit goal of the group is to bring about some kind of change, whether it be on a global, social, or personal level. “Perfection is possible if one stays with the group and is committed.”

4. CULT OF CONFESSION. The unhealthy practice of self disclosure to members in the group. Often in the context of a public gathering in the group, admitting past sins and imperfections, even doubts about the group and critical thoughts about the integrity of the leaders.

    5. SACRED SCIENCE. The group’s perspective is absolutely true and completely adequate to explain EVERYTHING. The doctrine is not subject to amendments or question. ABSOLUTE conformity to the doctrine is required.

    6. LOADED LANGUAGE. A new vocabulary emerges within the context of the group. Group members “think” within the very abstract and narrow parameters of the group’s doctrine. The terminology sufficiently stops members from thinking critically by reinforcing a “black and white” mentality. Loaded terms and clichés prejudice thinking.

    7. DOCTRINE OVER PERSON. Pre-group experience and group experience are narrowly and decisively interpreted through the absolute doctrine, even when experience contradicts the doctrine. All contrary experiences must be denied or reinterpreted to fit the ideology of the group.

8. DISPENSING OF EXISTENCE. Salvation is possible only in the group. Those who leave the group are doomed.

The lifestyles of the rich and famous lure false prophets and teachers; ostentatious displays of wealth are presented as proof of the Lord’s blessing on their particular ministry. They use their ministry to advance their own wealth and position. They lust after others possessions, usually sheep from another sheepfold, and prestige in the eyes of others. They are experts at extracting a dollar.

“Having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children.”

Their appeals for money touch all the right buttons and emotional blackmail ensures that the dollars keep flowing into their bank accounts. Multi-level marketing appeals and mailing lists keep the faithful giving..giving. They sell their services and merchandise, “Jesus” becomes a brand, and a trademark to be exploited — “He’s the real thing!”

Books extol their ministry, and slick videos extort even more dollars. Christianity is an industry to these merchants from the temple.

Though their followers are many their disciples are few indeed. They pick their target audience well.
“These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest”

Those who question a false shepherd’s methodology and actions are dumped like the plague, and often are totally spiritually violated in the process.

  40. Michael, what does a psychiatrist know about theology? Somebody’s religion is somebody’s religion–so what the fuck? As long as there is no FORCE involved, people need to take personal responsibility for their beliefs.

  41. Michael Whiteacre says:

@origen – only the Eight Points are from Lifton. The remainder is from an unknown author. My error in citing it incompletely.

Which is not to say that a psychiatrist could not also study theology.

“As long as there is no FORCE involved” — define force? Preying upon the weak or susceptible is still wrong in my book. Filling the minds of the needy with empty promises is also pretty shitty.

  42. Dude, you are a lawyer so you can define force like you would in court.

I agree with you. What Shelly is doing now seems pretty shitty because but these girls need to think for themselves.

Also, a psychiatrist could study theology–that is true. But their theological argument should be complete for it to be seriously considered.

All I’m saying is that some people are Evangelical Christians. It doesn’t make them inherently bad or deluded anymore than people in porn aren’t inherently bad or deluded.

  43. Michael Whiteacre says:

Correct, Evangelical Christians are neither inherently bad nor any more deluded than any people of other religions or denominations.

  44. Brooke +10, Lubben -5 … Rock on Brooke, you’ll always be the best!

ih8u – Special mention for most clueless and insensitive comment I’ve seen in a long time. That’s saying a lot on here.

  45. Darrah Ford says:

I wasn’t sure if I should say anything. This has turned into a train wreck that should never have happened. I’m not taking anyone’s side in this mess. It kills me to say anything negative to Brooke but these are my observations after reading both posts:

You claim you want this private and you want people to leave you alone. But you’re the one that made this public by writing in to LIB. How can you claim you now want privacy when it’s you that made this public?

Why do you keep on telling Shelley to take down all your pictures, videos, and testimonial from her website when she’s already said she has? The pictures up are the pictures still posted here on LIB. Why attack anyone for posting your pictures but it’s the same website you wrote in to that still has up your pictures? You also can’t go running to your lawyer telling him you want pictures taken down that you first gave permission to be posted.

If you’re not against the industry and don’t want it shut down, then why did you join Pink Cross? Why were you in Shelley’s home and why did you agree to be a part of the entourage that accompanied Shelley to AEE?

You didn’t know what Shelley & Pink Cross are about? Why would you agree to be a part of an organization without researching them first? Why would you agree to represent an anti-porn organization if you didn’t feel the same way too?

You complain about Shelley bringing an entourage, security, and a camera crew to AEE. You do realize that you were a part of that entourage too, right? Even many porn stars have entourages consisting of an assistant, bodyguard, publicist, manager, and agent. Whatever security Shelley brought is for her own protection and for the protection of everyone associated with Pink Cross. Many women are treated badly at these conventions by the men there where they need security with them. And whatever camera crew Shelley might have brought might be because it gets whatever message Shelley wants out broadcast to a much larger audience. The mainstream media covers these conventions all the time. If you’re bringing your organization to a convention and you’re trying to get whatever message you want out, then you bring along a camera crew or you make appointments for interviews while at the convention.

You’re complaining about Shelley wearing an FBI shirt & about her bringing an entourage and security. Why does she, or anyone else for that matter, need your approval for anything they do with regards to their own organization?

Your medical marijuana card is for California, not Nevada. If convention security found you smoking marijuana, they could have thrown all of Pink Cross out of the building. You were there representing Pink Cross. Convention security might not know about your circumstances but could have very easily thrown the entire organization out in order to protect their own jobs. Whether anyone at Pink Cross told you to not smoke it or to take off their t-shirt, I guarantee it was so to protect themselves and not get thrown out of the convention.

You now claim that Shelley writes the testimonials that appear on her site. So you’re admitting she wrote yours? Why should anyone believe anything you have to say now? Why would you allow someone else to write a testimonial for in your name? You now claim you support the industry but you allowed an anti-porn organization to write your testimonial?

You’re complaining that someone was following you & your husband and even followed you into the bathroom. I don’t know if this was your first public outing with Pink Cross, but maybe they wanted to accompany you to make you feel more comfortable in case you needed anything. You were there representing them. And if this was your first time with them, maybe they wanted to be there for you in case you needed them for anything considering they’ve probably been to more conventions than you have.

You sued the industry and won. Rightfully so & I wish more would also sue every time they contracted STDs. But many in this industry are against you for suing. That’s probably why that piece of shit Bill Margold said what he did to you. You’ve now opened the doors for more lawsuits to happen in this industry which will bankrupt many. Don’t blame Shelley for what Bill Margold did to you. This is also the same person who told Jeremy Steele that he was happy Savannah killed herself because it gave him a reason to start PAW. This is what Jeremy has stated.

To me this all seems like you’re lashing out at Shelley for how badly Bill Margold treated you & you being confronted with your past. You knew who Shelley was, you knew about Pink Cross, and you agreed to accompany an anti-porn organization to the biggest porn convention of the year. You’re the one making this all public but you now claim you want privacy.

Regardless of what people think of Shelley, many will attack you. I’m the one constantly yelled at for making female porn stars into victims and making excuses for them. While most people in the industry & out of the industry attack porn stars saying how you all should take responsibility for your own actions. I guarantee you that many of the people defending you are only doing so to have an excuse to attack Shelley. You should never have made this public, left Pink Cross quietly, and moved on.

  46. I completely agree with Darrah Ford. Ann Marie you are acting like an idiot and you have no idea how much you have hurt many people.

  47. brookeashley says:

Darrah, gee thanks for your support, haha. whatever. I am telling my son, i am not done saying what I have to say. No it was my intent to share my testimony. however i now I regret whom i have shared it with. the pink cross. it was not meant for shock value it was in church i shared this story with shelley wanting the addition of the coke and champagne added to my testimony to satisfy her needs. NO I am not going to take your bs or anyone elses. I will ask this one time and one time only removed my pink cross pics and every pic with that woman in the future. I have no ties to a person who will set up the business of adult by collecting testimonies of women. IT is just wrong…shouldnt the feds do that anyway or law enforcement. what gives anyone the right to betray people through their religious baptism testimonies? and they claim they are doing it in the name of jesus. They are the ones I am tripping on the most. And I have never given anyone permission to post pictures where is my consent or release form. never signed one.

  48. Julie Meadows says:

I have to side with Ann Marie on this one. Without a release form, she can’t use people’s pictures. Also, any defense for Shelley is just an assumption that she is actually doing the things she says she’s doing.

I could be wrong, so Ann Marie can correct me if I am, but it sounds like the situation with Shelley hurt her badly, and it’s compounded by the fact that Ann Marie gave her a pair of black pearl earrings. Being vocal when someone as vocal and attention-hungry as Shelley, after going out of your way to support that person, is normal. Ann Marie isn’t the typical supporter. As far as I know, she wasn’t asking for handouts, she was the one handing out, and more than likely was approached by Shelley with her and her follower’s typical luring letters filled with flattery and how much they love, etc… I would be hurt, too, to find that I had confided in someone, given them a gift and then was snubbed for needing a marijuana prescription to curb my vomiting. Native American Indian women smoke cannibus sativa to curb morning sickness, so it is medicinal regardless of its controversy. Again, if any of this is wrong, Ann Marie can correct me.

I’m biased because I believe Lubben is mentally unstable and therefore not mentally fit to care for people she deems victims, so I’m with Ann Marie. Her suing the industry is a separate issue. I, for one, am heartened that she is speaking out and calling Lubben on something no true friend would do. And I am not convinced that any of the things Shelley said happened to her actually happened, anyway. If you can say “non-curable herpes” over and over and over and then say your cured with no evidence to back it, I’m calling bullshit.

    Just my thoughts. 😀

I left out a portion of my sentence.

  50. Julie Meadows says:

Also, I’d just like to say, Mahlia Milian said that she asked that her pictures and story be taken from Lubben’s sites and Lubben refused. It looks like the pictures are gone from her sites, FaceBook, MySpace, etc… but if Mahlia is right, and her request was denied because “taking them down would be bad for future porn stars needing help,” then she doesn’t do that sort of thing without a threat. Mahlia said that parts of her story were fabricated and that she was mortified to see Lubben had added her real name to the information. That’s what she said.

  51. Larry Horse says:

Off this topic, sort of, did AHF have any precense at AEE in a protest type way? For all their howling and screaming in LA County, you would think they would show up in some way, a press conference perhaps, in Vegas. Makes their fight look like a money grab. Mr Weinstein like to comment?

  52. darrah, please stfu. no one asked you.

  53. jeremysteele11 says:

    Hey Ann Marie/Brooke Ashley.

Regardless of what you believe, the fact is that
you have the right to sue for your HIV+ status and damages, and it won’t cost you any money to do so, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain; either those who represent you fail or you’ll strike it mega-rich, but again it won’t cost you a dime to pursue it. Of course, the choice is yours.

Contact osmj dot org for more details.

I don’t need to go into all the details but the bottom line is the medical establishment has got things wrong many times in history. They used to tell us pellegra and scurvy were viral based. But those diseases didn’t have the mind-blowing massive mega-money behind them to perpetuate a theory despite evidence to the contrary as AIDS today has.

Experts are admitting in court that HIV tests do not prove HIV infection. Also the two guys who are credited with discovering HIV (Robert Gallo and Luc Montagnier, the latter who won the nobel prize) both admit HIV has never isolated (he stated he believed to have found the cause of AIDS). In 1994 at a meeting sponsored by the U.S. National Institute of Drug Abuse, Gallo said “We have never found HIV DNA in T-cells” (source avail. upon request). And Montagnier stated, “There are too many shortcomings in the theory that HIV causes all signs of AIDS”. Both now admit co-factors are needed.

But again, what you believe is irrelevant. It won’t cost you anything to pursue this. The choice is yours. You can continue to take poisonous medicine that makes you throw up every day or get some free representation and see where it leads.

  54. @Julie,
Being vocal when someone as vocal and attention hungry as Brooke after going out of your way to support that person is normal.
Or is there some kind of double standard here that Shelly cant respond when someone takes their personal business to a public forum.

Quick question Julie, who bought this to a public foruim first, Shelley, or Brroke?

Julie says, “AS far as I know she wasnt asking for handouts.” Instead of making such admitadly uninformed comments why not directly ask the people directly and get the facts instead of your assumptions.? Or is that not part of the documentary.

Funny how Brooke recieved virtually no support when she g0t HIV, or sued the industry. Julie calls this a sepreate issue. But she attacks Hhelly and the industry comes out of the woodwrks to support her.

Julie, did you ever do anything to support Brooke in her FIGHT AGAINST THE INDUSTRY. Do you support her suing the company that employed her, and do you think other performers should do the same? Would you support other female performers who sue for compenstion for their injuries in the workplace? Or is your support only for those who toe the industry line, and shun those who were permantly injured and infected throught their employment?

Julie, since your partner Michael refuses to acknoledge any producer responsibility, what about you. Can you name ONE SINGLE THING that producers do regarding health and safety of performers? And dont even try to say that requiring a performer to pay for their own tests BEFORE they even get hired is an example of ‘producer’ responsibility. If producers want to take credit for the testing let them PAY for it.

Just ONE SINGLE THING Julie. I say you cant becuase they do nothing. Am I wrong, if so, give us one example.
