UPDATE on Emily Evermoore- 2 years in prison

NL- I believe Emily’s sentence had to do with drugs.

A friend of Emily’s writes to me-

Sometime at the middle of January 2009, Emily was sentenced to 2 years in state prison, and LA County jail didn’t allow her to take her letters and contact info with her to the state prison in Chowchilla (in Central California), so she lost all the letters of those of you who had writen her.  She recently wrote me, and her letter’s tone was that of being depressed, scared, and feeling a little hopeless and lonely.  Who wouldn’t be?
 
Two years is a long time.  I hope she makes good friends in prison, as I can imagine how intimidating it could be being a locked-up porn-star with no family and no real positive friends like the ones of us who helped her out with a simple letter or by sending a few bucks and love.  When you’re in jail, sometimes making friends in there is as easy as sharing some food or postage stamps, etc.  She could also use money to buy a wide variety of items sold in the State Prison system, such as tennis shoes, clothing, all kinds of food, etc.
