Subject: I was given incorrect information regarding Chasey Lain
Body: For all of you that may have read my blog titled, “A Moment of Silence,” I had stated Chasey Lain had passed away due to a heroin overdose. I am pleased to know that she is in fact JUST FINE, ALIVE and WELL.
I don’t know if this was just a case of the “telephone game”, where information was given and then tracked its way through the rumor mill and ended up at my doorstep with a completely different version of the truth or what!!! Since I don’t know Chasey personally, and I trust who told me the information (which was given to her…..see my point…who knows where the original story came from or whom it came from), I believed it to be true. It was in fact NOT TRUE!
All I know, is I decided upon hearing the information about Danny’s passing, to comment on the matter of this type of drug abuse.
I’m not someone who knows Chasey Lain, so I don’t claim to know about her life at all. I am super glad to hear that she is ok and that our industry did not suffer another loss due to a heroin overdose.
My position on the use of the drug remains the same. I still feel it is devastating and will eventually take your life, should you choose to succumb to it.
I’m not sure how many of you may have replied to the blog. I have yet to check the messages. I just returned from dancing at Spearmint Rhino in Santa Maria, and I have a miserable cold, so I will get to the messages as I can. There’s no need to comment on this bulletin, it will just back up my mail. I just wanted to let you all know that Chasey is fine and the information was wrong as soon as I was made aware, so as not to further any damage that may have already been unitentionally caused.
