Too many people, including some in our industry, are not as respectful of porn stars as they should be.
Why do so many try to degrade these icons of sexuality?

I dont see the trouble, for each jerk being rude to Mia there were about 5 fanboys or people who were just curious and tried to sound supportive. The problem is that most active porngirls seem to have eggshell egos, being extremely defensive about their lifestyle choice while at the same time pathologically drawing attention to them, so they are shocked when the haters come out of the woodwork. I have seen that on other non porn forums i´m a member of. Active porn girls often post with a seudonym but put their photo in the avatar, profile or include the myspace link so everybody will know who she is. And surprise someone who doesnt not like her line of work will came a say something and bingo! Porngirl throws a fit and turns in to a lurker. Mia handled herserlf well, except in the suject of drugs whe she sounded defensive and sugarcoating. All the trainig in XPT came handy. She just has to remind herself many people will never accept her line of work, period.
So let me get this straight, a porn chick registers for a web forum that has nothing to do with the adult business, decides to use an easily deciphered handle like MiaRoseXXX, and is surprised and upset when guys react a certain way? Maybe not putting it out there would be a better course of action.
Um, I’m not sure what was said that was so incredibly offensive to her sensibilities. . .I mean, she’s on there posting as “Ask a Porn Star.” Why wouldn’t guys ask her stuff like they did? If you want to be treated as a separate entity from you career/vagina, don’t bill yourself as an adult performer. Pretty simple.

I don’t see why I should change my handle? I know people won’t “accept” what I do. I wasn’t asking for acceptance. I was informing people who ASKED to be informed.
So… how does that make me “tacky” If you want to even comment on this subject, I suggest you read all 30+ pages of text. If you don’t have the attention span, or, just don’t want to, then don’t waste your breath commenting the matter at hand.

She should have not let on the fact she does porn, bad idea. Any car forum is going to be made up of mostly males. Once they know you’re a porn star the focus will most certainly shift.

Why do you want a fast car? I mean the top speed is like 75 mph, a car that can go faster than that is just like fucked up. They sell you these cars that can go fast, but you’re not allowed to make them go fast, so why not just sell cars that only go up to a certain speed. Shouldn’t everytime a person gets a speeding ticket, like shouldn’t the car companies have to pay, yeah they should but they don’t because of the fucked up laws.
