Thursday night, May 10 update. I am in Coos Bay, OR. This is my winning hearts and minds tour. I’m living off the land (and mooching off my friends as usual).
I’m thinking of driving east from Vancouver to Banff…or should I just take off east from Portland. I want to drive to New York.
I spent Tuesday night with a friend in San Jose. Wednesday night in Mendocino.
Ever since I drove out of LA and hit the open road, I’ve felt strangely calm. There’s nothing I want to say.

Luke just drove by without stopping. I guess he’s really serious about making it to Vancouver. Sigh, maybe next time. Look at all these people waving flags and cheering, never seen anything like it on the PCH.

Mr. Ford is a self-employed entrepreneur who owns and runs multiple profitable web operations. Rupert Murdoch, a “compatriot” of Mr. Ford has been quoted saying “I wish I could trade places with Luke. He just always knew how to manage his time better.” Mr. Ford currently resides in the Los Angeles area. His hobbies include photography and video filming.
