European Porn

The cover story of the June 2007 edition of AVN Online magazine is on European porn.

Ken Knox writes:

"Here in the Czech Republic making and distributing porn is no problem," said Geisler. "One of the reasons for that might be that about 60 percent of the people are atheists." Even when producing porn is legal, it still may be hard to get the job done in a religious environment. Geisler added, "In Italy you can produce porn, but you won’t find actors because of religious beliefs."

  1. There is the same Italian problem in Spanish Latin America and Spain, but is not only about religion since prostitution is legal, is about embarrasing your family, that is a even bigger issue as religious beliefs. Is already bad to be a whore, but is worse to be a whore in public. Escorts look down on porn stars. Porn is legal in Spain and in most spanish speaking american countries since the 1980s but getting talent is very difficult. Spain have about 40 to 60 active actors but many are foreigners or washed up street whores. Compare to the UK and his young porn business or to the Czech Republic and Hungary with hundreds of active actors and a huge local production for such small countries. Portuguese speaking Brazil for some reasons is another thing.
